We found Ivan after searching for the right Ikea cabinet installation company for some time. He was showcased in a custom Ikea cabinet manufacturer page but what set him apart (and ultimately made us choose him vs. others) was the quality and attention to detail that was evident in the pictures from his previous jobs. Our installation consisted of various materials, standard Ikea Sektion boxes, custom acrylic upper doors (push to open), and custom white oak base and tall cabinets. When the job started, Ivan was quick to point out seemingly minor improvements to the original design that made a big difference: we were able to remove/relocate filler pieces that resulted in a cleaner installation. Which brings me to my second point. Whenever there was a decision to be made, however minor, Ivan took the time to stop and consult with us regarding how we wanted to proceed. This is a refreshing take as oftentimes contractors make their own choices without the client's input, resulting in costly changes down the road. Just like the pictures during our installer search, Ivan's work displayed a keen attention to detail. Ivan takes pride on his work and cares about the final product. For instance, after he installed the uppers, we felt that some of the gaps around a corner cabinet section were a bit bigger than the rest. Mind you, this was not a simple door adjustment, but Ivan took the time to remove previously installed side panels to make sure everything lined up precisely. Based on our experience, we would not hesitate to recommend Ivan and Innovation Cabinet Installs to anyone looking for the highest quality cabinet installation around.

We lacked kitchen storage and wanted more, and a coffee bar. We wanted to replace a granite topped breakfront with a wood top. Additionally, we needed a sizable bookcase for our office. Marc's got a great eye and even better ears - instead of choosing a trend or dictating what he thought, he carefully listened to our wants and goal of how we wanted the new elements to compliment, but not necessarily match, the existing decor. He understood our space and really guided us to a terrific design. The process was un-rushed and very collaborative. We went back and forth first with sketches, that then became photo-shopped realizations of the furniture in the room, and ultimately he presented architectural drawings that we then signed off on before construction. This is a family business that prides themselves on the craft of their product. Alvaro, his dad (a true master carpenter) and his brother did the construction and installation. They were thoughtful and as they installed and assembled, some things became apparent that we had not considered. It was all addressed with expertise and professionalism, wrapped in a true desire to make the best possible cabinetry for our home. Once done, their retoucher addressed every shadow of imperfection on site. Their finisher addressed the walls and outlets that were damaged by the removal of the granite and the changing of some electrical (which they also oversaw). I needed him to match the same color of our Kitchen cabinets. Ray came out to look at everything I needed to have done and took a few days to ensure he had the same wood color from a company. Ray returned and did an excellent job installing the nicely colored wood on either side of our microwave oven. Ray also came back another day to fix an antique chest drawer that was broken in our bedroom. He did a good job on fixing that Drawer also. When I sent pictures over to Johnny of our kitchen before he couldn't believe I wanted to change the counter tops and back splash. But even though it looked nice there were a ton of imperfections. So when Johnny came by he noticed a lot of "mickey mouse" things the flipper did to the house, dishwasher in the wrong place, sink not in the center, etc. So we ended up changing our lay out to be the correct way.
