Read the fine print!!!!…read more I had my tub reglazed in my guest bathroom. The yep was really nice and overall I think he did a good job (the smell is a lot so I didn't get to really inspect yet) But before he left I pointed out that paint was removed from the walls. I took photos of the few that I could see before he sealed the room. When I called the company they said in the fine print there is a note that they are not responsible for any damage to the walls. I just had this bath redone so it's not an old paint issue! So now I'm going to pay $400 for a small bathtub to be reglazed and have to hire a painter to come out and smooth and repaint the walls. We spent about 30K on the flooring after they up-charged us on concrete to level the floors because if we didn't then the warranty would not be in place. Within a year the flooring by my pantry started to come apart. We ignored it but after a while we found more flooring has come apart going into the living room and hallway. I finally called My Flooring Guy for help. They told me the warranty on their work only lasted a year. The 30 year warranty was by the manufacturer. However they would have someone call me to see if it was covered. No one called. I called again. This time they gave me an email address to send pictures of the problem. I did so but again no answer. These floors were supposed to last but apparently they don't and this company doesn't stand by their work. Do not go with this company or you will regret it. I will be having someone come out to try to fix my floors and will look into legal action if possible. So much money wasted. Thanks for nothing My Flooring Guy.

We did 2 projects, lacquer paint for kitchen cabinets and limewash on exterior brick veneer. I have hired painters many times over the years, but it is extremely hard to find a painter who could do lacquer paint in California (due to regulation) and also knows how to do lime washing on exterior bricks. Our house had ugly red brick veneer that I hated for a long time but I didn't know what to do with it except replacing it with new stone veneer but the cost would be so much more. Ondrej is originally from Europe so he knew exactly what I had in mind. His crew spent almost 3 days just for the brick veneer to get look I was going for. We knew that we needed an expert to complete the job without the risk of damaging them. We had a difficult decision to make and for this project, we obtained 7 quotes. After looking into each of the companies through the CSLB website, we found out that only four of them had a valid contractors license. We felt very comfortable with George, the owner of Jace. He has vast knowledge of hardwood floors with years of experience, has a friendly demeanor, and is a fellow dog rescuer. One of the other reviews mentions a customer's satisfaction with Jace's refinishing of their 100 years old floors. Though his quote was not the lowest, we chose quality over price. And we are so happy we did. Carlos, the lead tech on our project is also very knowledgeable and approachable. He answered all of our questions, and explained everything they were doing throughout the various stages of the process. Carlos's assistant, Jair is friendly and a hard worker. After the work was completed, Mike came to inspect the work, and grout the transition from our Dining Room to our kitchen. I didn't even have to ask them to do this. George suggested it to replace the ugly molding that was previously there, and on which we would frequently stub our toes. Mike returned a second time to drop off a complementary Bona cleaning kit. From the initial Yelp request to the finish of our project, George and his team were stellar, exceeding our expectations. Our floors look amazing, as if they were newly installed!
