Our shower started to have mold issues and no matter how much we cleaned, the mold would come right back after a week or so. We contemplated on replacing our shower tray but it still wouldn't have fixed the issue with our grout lines so after some research, I decided to reglaze instead of replacing and found George and Esmeralda at Venegas Refinishing. Esmeralda was quick to respond and provided accurate quote over the phone after I sent some pictures over. Luckily George who is the owner/technician had an available slot that same week. The job took about 6 hours and George was meticulous about every detail. He made sure to protect our hardwood floor and covered up anything that may come in contacted with the paint. He even came back two more times after the job was finished since I had some areas in the shower I wanted him to touch up. All in all, great experience with Venegas Refinishing. Jorge came out in August 2020 to reglaze my countertops, sink, bathtub and shower. When he came out to do the work he advised that his work was guaranteed for a year. After the countertop was dry I ran my hand over it and noticed there were rough spots and the clear coat was very uneven. Jorge came back out and "fixed it". It still wasn't that great but I figured I would just deal with it. It's only been 6 months now and the countertops are very badly chipped and the sink has bubbled and water is being trapped in it. I called Jorge to come out to fix the chips in the countertop and bubble in the sink and he informed me that the sink was not going to be covered and that he could charge me additional to fix it. It took more than a dozen calls and text messages, most of them he didn't respond to, for him to come out again to fix the countertops which he also did not want to fix and when he finally showed up he argued about doing the work and ended up leaving without doing the repairs. Poor quality work on sink and countertop and poor customer service. read more

I can't speak for anyone else's experience but we sought multiple quotes for a bathtub and wall tile reglaze and these guys were super responsive, incredibly courteous, and came in with a very reasonable quote. We were able to book an appointment very quickly, and they even showed up early. They explained every step of the process to us and even handled an unrelated plumbing issue (we have an old house) without too much trouble. They were quick and efficient, in and out in about 3 hours, and left very specific instructions on how long to wait before using the bathroom again.
