There aren't that many audio shops for cars with people whom take pride and integrity in the work they do. This store is something special. I found them on yelp. Just to see what kind of job they do, I first had them installed a pair of LED headlights to my wrangler. Watching the technician carefully installing the lights, the harness using protective housings and neatly tucking the hardness away...Etc. It was a clean and professional install done with care as if it was their own car! I was impressed and satisfied with the light installation so I had Kenny (shop owner) install an amp and custom make a sub enclosure for my honda Fit. It came out great! The enclosure looks OEM! Took up minimal space in the car and most important of all, since Kenny personally tunes the equalizer for you, my little honda fit sounds 1000% better than what I had originally. Ken is really a car enthusiast, I used to like the whole Asian import mod scene when I was in college and can tell he knows his stuff. Great place to bring your car, they really know what they're doing. I called at 5pm, right as they were closing. I was told to bring my car in at 9am. When I dropped it off, the owner went through the car with me and made sure nothing was wrong with it, asked me what I wanted to get done, gave me the price, and said it'll be done later in the day. Three hours later, I get a call and the car is finished. I go to pick it up, and the car looked immaculate. I have a 2013 Toyota Corolla. Ken helped me find a wireless carplay unit and backup camera that would be a good fit for it, and then worked with me to schedule a good time for me to come in and have it installed. It was done a few hours after I brought it in, and everything was installed so cleanly it looks like my car came with it. There are no visible wires, and I was able to retain the audio controls in my steering wheel and usb and auxiliary ports. The price was super reasonable (Ken breaks down each component of the cost, so you know exactly what you're paying for) and it works flawlessly. Went to this shop today to replace a blown subwoofer in my Benz. Ken, the owner, was a real professional and all around nice dude. Everything was explained to me clearly. Price was more than fair. I brought the car in the next day after I called and it took less than a hour to replace the subwoofer while I waited. I contact the owner of Creative Audio & Security(Kenny) through yelp's email regarding purchase and installation of a remote starter, and an airhorn for my vehicle. Kenny got back to me within 24 hours with some price quotes and options. When I confirmed my interest in an airhorn that wasn't in stock, he wanted me to stop by to drop off a deposit, so he could order the horn and schedule a future appointment appointment for installation. After meeting Kenny, it turned out I liked a standard airhorn, more than a Eurohorn. At this point, Kenny told me that he had standard airhorns in stock, so a deposit would not be necessary. So we scheduled an appointment for a Monday at 9am when the shop opened. It was great to me him, and at this point, I already felt better about choosing to bring my car to Creative. I arrived at Monday morning, and was greeted by one of the gentlemen working at the shop. He was polite, and let me know Kenny would be in shortly, and he was. Kenny arrived and we set the wheels in motion with the remote starter, and airhorn. At this point, I asked Kenny if he could tint my windows as well, and he said no problem at all. The car would be ready in about 3 hours, or I could come back and get it when it was convenient for me. I decided to enjoy the day and weather, and walk and enjoy the waterfront at Shore Rd. I got back a bit early and was a block away, and Kenny was passing by in his car, and said come back to the shop, as the car should almost be ready. At this point Kenny pulled out a chair for me and offered me a beverage. Shortly after, the car was ready. The work was done correctly, and Kenny was very friendly, and knowledgable in regard to the work performed. His tech was also great. Polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. Kenny also explained the warranties to me, and made sure that I knew he was there for me- his customer. I was really impressed, and glad that I chose Creative. He was straightforward, there wasn't any bs. Kenny honest, friendly, and makes the time to make sure he can answer any questions you might have. Another thing that I thought was great was I gave Kenny some tip money with my payment. He immediately gave that to his guys who did the work. The yelp 5 star yelp reviews are true. I have a very nice low milage car that is turning 10 years old. It was definitely time to upgrade the factory system. I messaged Creative Audio & Kenny wrote me back within an hour (maybe it was sooner). It was nice to have someone listen to exactly what you're looking for- and then just do it without hassling you. For me, this was something that supported Apple CarPlay and I also wanted a back-up camera installed, all while being able to use the native controllers in the steering wheel. I also requested the cables to be placed in the center console instead of the glove box. A few hours later the car was done and I could not be happier. The team did a stellar job and I wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend this business. Highest marks for Ken & his crew! I called them on Thursday for a Friday morning appointment to install a rear view mirror back up cam on my 2012 Nissan Altima. Ken's quote was cheaper than the local installer and the Yelp reviews were stellar, so I made an appointment for 9:30am the next day. I drove over from Staten Island and met with Ken who detailed the work to be done. He estimated 3hrs to complete. I asked about a backup cam/navigation system installation, but it was out of my budget. Ken said the rear view cam would do the trick and my cellphone GPS or a garmin unit would be an economical substitute. The other Yelp reviews raved about their window tint, so I requested 50% for all windows. I took a walk, had brunch along 5th Ave, and, as scheduled, Ken said my car was ready before 1pm. The mirror looked great! The image was sharp and the superimposed guidelines were helpful. Ken removed the original mirror and replaced it with the back up cam mirror. No wires visible and the camera was hard wired right above the license plate. Very professional installation. Ken also explained that wireless cameras are somewhat unreliable. The only observation I have is that the camera itself is easily bumped. It's easy enough to adjust, but I'd prefer if it were set in place and immovable. The more serious issue is glare. On sunny days, the bright reflection makes the reverse cam difficult to view. It takes a little getting used to; maybe I need to point the mirror downwards during sunny days. The mirror itself is great, just be wary on sunny days. Here's another plus: Ken gave me his card, wrote up a receipt on back and said there's a 1-year warranty for his services. If I accidentally scratch the tint, that's understandably on me. But if the camera is faulty or if the tint bubbles up, he'll take care of it. Ken also placed "do not use' stickers on all window controls and warned me that the tint takes 2-3 days to cure. I just removed the stickers today and look forward to rolling down the windows tomorrow. My compliments to Ken and his crew at Creative Audio. My dad saw the back up cam this weekend and asked me to make an appointment to install the same in his Accord after Thanksgiving. It's true that the best promotion is professional, quality work and word of mouth from satisfied customers. read more

Ken is such a great guy and also very easy to approach. After getting a great quote for remote start on my Lexus IS250, I made an appointment immediately. I walked in on him while he was putting tints on a lexus RX and was very impressed of how well and fast he did his job. He installed our remote start on our factory key fob within an hour! I like that he doesn't push his own best interest brands. He took the time to review everything with me and was very friendly as well. I unfortunately will be using someone else for my spring system being that Kenny's shop is very far from me and I found a really good guy much closer to me that is also a bit cheaper which matters in an install of this magnitude. I found this place on Yelp on my quest to get some extra bass in my car. All I can say is Kenny's the man. He had the sound system put in within 2 hours (no appointment). I didn't write a review then, because I know better than to write a review right after an electronic purchase. Like clockwork my sub died! I brought it in and Kenny got me a brand new one fully installed no questions asked. I later found that this was due to a short that happened from my ballasts for HID lights. Kenny traced it back to the lights and switched them out as well. He noticed my car making sounds when going in reverse and pinpointed it to my newly installed Catback which was hitting my swaybar. I got this confirmed with another mechanic and both were spot on. I was so happy with Kenny's service, honesty and knowledge of electronics, I decided to give him my radar detector for installation. He took it apart, hard wired it, included a light bean near the AC vent on the driver side, a mute switch in the ashtray, and a kill switch under the hood. This was done in 1 hour! He knew right off the bat who installed my laser jammers and told me what I could do to fine tune them (without trashtalking his competitor). Needless to say, 1 year later and I am scheduling to install my rear laser jammers, remote start, and Viper alarm from Kenny. Great shop - highly recommended. read more
