This is a great vape shop to go to and very underrated. They have a large wall of nicotine flavors and electronic cigarettes and always have the newest products available on the market. The staff here is very knowledgeable so when I ask for suggestions I am confident that I will not walk out disappointed. The vibe of the shop is chill and clean, I don't get overwhelmed walking in the door like you can at a lot of smoke shops. Thd prices are fair and they dont over charge for things. They do sell CBD, but they handle their explanations of these products maturely if that's what you are looking for. This shop was my go too.... It is now my place to not go. Terrible customer retention practices, bought 2 esco carts a few days ago. Started getting a horrible throat infection and the cartridges were the issue. They were manufactured in December of 2021. When I went to exchange them the store refused.... My husband and I went into a Create-a-cig today looking to buy vape juice. We frequent this vape shop often because they have a lot of products compared to other vape shops. The man working with the colorful beard (half orange & half purple) I'm pretty sure his name is Valen... he was amazing and kind and made you feel very welcome and comfortable. The woman, who's name I didn't catch unfortunately is ALWAYS rude! She stares at you the entire time and it's obvious she is making sure you aren't stealing but it makes you very uncomfortable and weird... I didn't like or appreciate that at all. I asked her how many Milligrams are in a juice I had picked up and she so rudely replied with "it's right there on the bottle" like if I'm asking I obviously need your help so help me and do your fucking job!! If you're one of the few who gave this a 4+ star, I can safely say you're not aware of the price differences or the knowledge and experience you can find at MANY other vape shops. Unfortunately, they like to take current products and actually rename them with a price jump. Currently the Kanger T3 is typically found at about $6 - $8 per clearomizer but they've taken this model and renamed it to 'Hotrod' or something similar and boosted the price to $16. The staff really doesn't have much if any knowledge on the different clearomizers, batteries or even juices they have in the store. It seems the manager wanted to hire pretty girls to try and attract my attention to keep coming back to this store. Only reason this got a 2 star is that it's location is right down the street from me and if you know what kind of liquid you want and have tried, makes it a convenient trip. read more

I just can't recommend this place to Yelpers. The customer service was terrible. I had to ask to be helped. I needed more liquid for my husbands ecig and told the woman this. She said let me get you a menu and left me alone. After waiting 15 minutes while she sat at a chair the customer next to me gave me a run down of flavors and some other good info. After hunting the employee down I told her I was ready. She said ok and then turned and disappeared for another 5 minutes. She came back and walked right by me to another person who had just arrived. The guy says "I think she's next" the woman replied "oh she's fine. What do you need?"....for real? Wtf, mate? Oh well. After 35 minutes I got the single bottle and left. I have been vaping for over a year now. I have a shop I have visited that was in my old neighborhood, but I recently moved and this place is really close. First, please let me say that I am no vape expert, but I do know what I have used and my experiences with those items. This is just to give you a perspective of where I come from. Walking in, it has a very familiar feel and one I find at many similar shops. I do like what they did with the display, as they paid very close attention to colors and details and that was very pleasing to the senses. There was no number system, no line, but an obvious wait if you did a quick scan of the employee to customer ratio. Not one employee said hello or acknowledged anyone coming in. It was chaos that was only kept under control by the fact that everyone in there at the time had social skills (I know, right!). Once it was my turn, the gentlemen that was seeking the next person helped me. He did not offer his name, nor have a name tag, so your guess is as good as mine. If you have been there before, you may recognize him as the guy who sweats really bad and cannot construct a complete sentence without his hands tightly clenched and many filler words like "uhm". At first, I thought that maybe he was new and having the multiple devices I had, I made him nervous. I tried hard to be only responsive and not try to over-power him. It was a train wreck. After we left, the guy I went in with was quick to correct me about the behavior and let me know that he was on drugs and it was clear and obvious. I guess some of us do not automatically assume, but unless he is ill, this assessment is spot on. In the end, he was trying to get me to go with the SVD, which is a good device, but it's MSRP is $99.95 and he states they sell it for $139. There is no option to purchase it without the battery, charger, and tank (all of which I have). He never took into consideration that I have used similar devices. He shot down my thoughts about getting another variable voltage choice, since that was the only feature I really used. He put down products in his own store, saying that the "spinner" (whatever brand they choose to call them) style was no good and when the battery was dead, the device was dead. Not even considering that I have purchased 10 of these (eGo brand) and only one has died. The others are still serving their purpose, with new owners. Spreading vape instead of smoke. I will not return to this shop. I will drive a little further to quality. Where they tell you what they know and find answers to what they don't. Where they are not visibly ill or on drugs. Where they ask me about my experiences before helping me chose a device. Where even though they are crowded and can be a little unfriendly at times, I get my vaping needs and more. So I bought a new set up last week. The tank they sold me cracked within the hour because they also sold me juice that cracks plastic tanks. No big deal I went back they charged me for the new tank did not refund me for the old tank. The atomizer on the new tank was malfunctioning so I went up there today to get a new atomizer. They told me they didn't have any that will work for it and there was nothing they could do about it. They couldn't tell me when a new one would be in nor could I order one. WTF... So I left the whole set up on the counter and walked out the door. I will never go back again because they sold me equipment that doesn't work. They won't do anything about it other than sell me brand new equipment. Great way to make a quick buck I guess, but that is the last dollar I ever spend at Create a Cig. I can see why Create a Cig has so many bad reviews. I've purchased more faulty products than working ones from this location. Cracked, leaking, overheating and burning me, etc. I've also had employees frequently contradict what another employee has told me about e-cigarette care. They really don't seem to know much about the product. (with the exception of a few employees) Why the 4 stars? The service! EVERY time I've gotten one of those faulty products, I've had no questions asked exchanges, usually with something free thrown in. And every male associate there (I've had this rude female a few times) is EXTREMELY friendly. They remember me when I come in and they seem genuinely happy to serve me. I prefer the products at All About Vapor down on Airport (and it's closer to my house), but the guys at Create a Cig are so cool, I can't help but want to go support them. read more

Justin is there every time I have been there. He is very friendly and helpful. The shop has all you could ask for as far as vapor supplies go, and he is constantly trying to improve his service. If you want to quit smoking and nothing else has worked for you, try it out. It worked wonders for me, and the monthly cost is minimal compared to buying packs of smokes. It's a new shop, so he has some things that he is working to improve, and that is the only reason he gets 4 stars instead of 5. He is adding a room to hang out and try out different flavors and devices. Once he gets it all figured out I'm sure it will be 5 star worthy. The other locations are great, this one just sucks because of the employees. I went in with the intention of upgrading my current battery and getting some more juice. I show the very uninterested employee my setup and ask for the bigger version of "this" as I hand it to him. I said I just want to buy the battery I already have the charger and all the tanks I need. He waved his hand towards the case and I picked one out. It looked very similar to mine, just bigger. I get the two flavors with zero assistance, he stared and sighed and generally made us feel very unwelcome as I hurriedly made a decision. I then pull out the Groupon and this totally put him out. He banged around on the cash register before saying "I don't know how to do this Groupon crap" and walking off. A few minutes later he brings a chick up there that also couldn't figure it out. They ended up zeroing out the entire purchase and sending me on my way. It should have been a bit over $50.00 but since they didn't know how to key in the Groupon I didn't pay any extra. Or so I thought. I get home and pull out my charger..it won't fit. Instead of selling me the bigger version of my battery he sold me their version of my battery..which requires a different charger. Groupons are supposed to expose your business to new customers. Newsflash: if you treat those new customers like crap they won't be back! read more

My first experience was great. I left with what I thought was a good product and was satisfied with my purchase. I got the T-Max with a battery mod and the Kanger pro tank. Not long after my vape stopped working properly and I went back to the store for an exchange. I was still in the warranty period and wasn't asking for a refund. The joke was on me! I was told my tank was bad and needed a new one. So I was talked into throwing money at the problem. I got the Aspire tank and it worked pretty well for most of the day. So one day and about $50 later I was back where I started. My advice is to drive past the store and throw out your wallet. You'll be less frustrated and achieve the same result. read more

I bought my first ecig here and it was an okay experience, the sales associate was for some reason really cocky and was talking about how amazing he is at sales, kind of annoying but oh well. Second time it was an okay experience, took about 30 minutes to get just liquid for my vap but at least the lady that helped me was nice. However I went today and it was horrific, the two employees that were there did not seem happy. The male employee said he was too lazy to clean up and they were arguing with each other. I also go my liquid took it home and it tasted horrible. I will never go here again even though it is a block from my apartment. I'm giving them 5 stars because I can't imagine how a store could improve on Create-a-Cig's customer service or product line. I quit smoking 2 years ago, using acupuncture and willpower. Recently, I got embroiled in a novel writing project and also quit drinking, so between pacing while thinking about characters and pacing while out socially and not imbibing, I was tempted for the first time in a while to grab a smoke. I realized that I had used cigs for a variety of reasons that were still valid, and just didn't like the cancer part (or the smell on my clothes). The solution for me? An e-cig. Just my luck, the best store for it in town is up the street! I strolled into Create a Cig and the staff there took the time to patiently explain everything to me as far as the device, the battery, the oils, etc. I was originally interested in the "cigar" model, but after an in-depth discussion with the employee I decided the regular ecig would give me more versatility down the road if i wanted a different mouthpiece, etc. He let me sample flavors until we got me a mix I was thrilled with, and adjusted the level of nicotine down to the bare minimum. I think next round I'll just go with no nicotine, and I LOVE that that is an option. The cost up front is obviously higher than a pack of smokes, but averaged out it's a great deal. All in all, the store was as helpful as could be, and I'm loving the product. Haven't wanted a "normal" cig since, and I used mine the same night I bought it out in a social situation. My clothes don't stink of cigs, either! I'll be purchasing another one for my mom for christmas, and you can be sure it'll be from these guys. read more

I have been to the Parmer Ln location three times and have not been disappointed. The staff is friendly and have answer all my questions spot on. Damien is great and has helped me and my girlfriend several times. I have been to many local vape shops and Create A Cig is by far my favorite. I have bought tanks and many juices there, and am super happy with everything. The selection of gear there is great. My customer service experience has been stellar. I witnessed the staff helping an older lady get started in vaping, very helpful and knowledgeable and patient. From my experiences, I don't understand the negative reviews. Avoid buying equipment here, I have had to return mods and tanks multiple times just to have them swapped out. The fact that they didn't even argue about them being defective is either good customer service, or admittance that they have issues. Now I'm not a smoker, but my boyfriend was, so we headed here as I told him either he quits smoking or we don't date. We arrived 15 minutes before closing time and this nice lady helped us. We did have to wait about 10 minutes but wasn't too bad, especially since they stayed open. We got some great discounts and they made sure my boyfriend got to try some flavors and found one he was happy with. They then went through step by step for a tutorial on the device he got and she really took care of us. Better yet, I think our final bill was like $70 after everything and we had one of their "top shelf" vapors. Definitely come here if you need a vapor. It can get busy, but that's just because they're awesome =) Even though my boyfriend and I ended up breaking up for different reasons, he's stayed off cigarettes due to the vapor being strong enough and that makes me happy. Their 88+ products work good for about three days. Then you'll start having problems. So you'll go back and forth to them, only to be told its your fault, despite all their "solutions". These products work best after being boiled for an hour and suffering a ten story drop. But their E juice is very good.... so that's a bright side. read more

After reading these reviews I had to double check the address to make sure we were talking about the same place. Apparently a lot of things have changed in the last year. I asked about new coils( or wicks if you prefer) for tanks that I had bought before the Kanger as well as an O ring for my KangerTech tank because I had damaged one of mine (in my ignorance of the proper assembly of the tank I bought at another store) and some fluid. I went in and there were 3 people on staff, and I was greeted I think before the door even finished closing behind me. There was another couple in the store who were being taken care of by one of the staff but that was it. It was not crowded at all.. I had brought in two different kinds of tanks, the KangerTech tank and a generic cheapie I had picked up at a gas station somewhere. One of the gals double checked the coils fit the tank and were the ones I wanted before selling them to me. She said there is a discount for buying multiples of 5. The O ring as a harder issue. I didnt want to order another O ring offline because the shipping alone would have been more than the O ring. Although they did not have another one new, instead of just apologizing and telling me to come back later, they pulled one from another tank. (A refunded tank perhaps? Hell I don't care where it came from) Honestly I had given up on getting a new O ring today but they kept up the good fight until I had one. As far as as fluids go, I had never done the whole "lets mix and match, see what I like" thing before. I had either bought them online or just plucked something off the shelf and prayed I liked it. The guy who helped me with fluids was Patrick, (and I wish I knew what the other gals names were they were cool too) He let me sample a few, and I ended up getting 2 30ml bottles. What I really liked about these people is that they seemed to really be enthusiastic about what they were selling, and vaping in general, whereas I had gone to other places and they just wanted me in and out as quick as possible so they could go on with their life. They took the time to explain to me the percentages that go into their juice, and answered my 501 questions, without making me feel like a dumba$$ or giving me attitude. Everything came up to less than what I expected based on what I had purchased online, and they actually helped me fix my Kanger. Certainly money well spent and I will be back! read more

This place would be better if the employees had a little training on customer service. I've come in here with no more than 4 other customer in line and 3 employees working and have had to sit and wait up to 25 minutes just to get prepackaged juice. All the employees feel the need to sit and "chit chat" with the customers and totally ignore the fact that others are waiting to be served. One guy talked about all the hardware and juices and didn't even sell a damn thing while all I wanted to do was grab a bottled juice and go. They need to learn to prioritize and divide tasks so that people aren't waiting so long that they eventually take their business elsewhere... like I have. Randomly walked in while waiting for a buddy to meet me at Parmer Lane Tavern, friendly young lady explained the basics of how a vaporizer works, if I'm using that term correctly. Whatever. Very good, walked out. A week later decided to purchase, came in 10 minutes before they closed and was met by two somewhat goofy, but knowledgeable young men (well one was goofy/friendly the other more serious and sharp) who helped me and my wife select a starter kit (70$). Free tube of oil on first purchase! :) Was worried they'd be seedy, heady types ready to close up shop 5 mins early...but they actually stayed there with us about ten past closing by the time the transaction was done. No rush, very friendly. Later... Gasp! Gave them the email that I no longer use and they said they'd email the receipt! What if this is a shady scam and my $70 purchase craps out and breaks in a week? Buyers remorse sets in. Few nights later, happened to be passing by, pipeless, stopped by for the hell of it and was greeted by a gentleman named Cotton who assured me he'd personally print out my receipt, from my name which they keep on file, kinda odd, and correct my email info. He did so, and I left. All in all, I am satisfied. Four solid stars. One thing they could do, is develop a pamphlet or at least some kind of instructional in-store poster explaining what an e-cigarette is...and what you'll be buying, why 'buying up' may be better, what kind of maintenance may be needed, explaining the various pieces, etc. Anyways, I've only owned my thing for a few days, so can't recommend or review that yet, works great so far, wish it had a bit more 'pull' to it, ...but the customer service there, the three nights I visited, was very friendly and cool. I've came to this store to buy my first vaporizer kit a couple years ago. Their products are relabeled defective items. They don't care if you tell them their knock off relabeled Kanger tank cracked for no reason, and blamed it on me, telling me my keys in my pocket must have cracked it. Mind you this tank had a protective mesh style metal around it. This tank was leaking in the first place. I bought another tank and it leaked also. I tried to buy replacement coils and showed the manager my tank and he sold me the wrong coils, it wouldn't fit at all(that's what she said). Avoid this terrible place. Don't waste your money here. No, I dont want to replace them but I did want my money back. What did I get told? Oh that looks bad in our system...UM so what? You return my money. THATS customer service. Also NO ONE used gloves while mixing flavors. That is very unsanitary. Anyone working in a vapor shop should know better. You guys are going to make someone very sick. An "outstanding" company is defined as a company with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great product and Great customer service. This particular shop has NONE of this. Well maybe a few nice people. I cant say that everyone there was bad. Losing two customers may seem trivial to you, but it looks to me like you lose quite a bit on a daily basis. FIX THE SHOPS PROBLEMS! Disappointed - that's all I can say about this shop. I went in recently to just check them out after having visited and spent an incredible amount of money at another vapor store. I will say the physical atmosphere was an decent attempt at being more classy; however, the staff was not knowledgeable, and frankly seemed to not care whether I bought anything or not. I tried several different flavors, but I wasn't really pleased by any of them, and I noticed that their testers didn't seem to work well at all. I finally settled on a flavor (just to buy something since I'd wasted their time), but I'm incredibly disappointed with it, so I have used it to blend a small amount in with my good flavors that I bought elsewhere, just as to not waste it. I won't be going back, and I couldn't give 2 stars instead of 1 star just because the place LOOKS good, although a little lacking and open, it certainly wasn't even enough to create an decent experience for me. read more
