There was 1 young lad on staff and 1 older guy outside making some pretty interesting and impressive swirly dessert things out of some sort of liquid that he was squeezing into a vat of oil, I have to say that I was impressed! He seemed to be a PRO at making these desserts that looked similar to a pretzel but orange. I didn't try one but it looked great anyway - I;m just not a fan of fried things... The pictures online didn't mirror the inside at all. There wasn't a huge 'cake fridge' with all manner of cakes and desserts, I counted about 5 cakes that all looked pretty ordinary (sorry!) They did have a good selection of ice cream, but it didn't look like it was a popular item as you can tell when ice cream is fresh and a new tub swapped out every day, etc. Maybe I'm just being a bit too critical? Maybe I was supposed to sit down and order from the menu or something and they make it all from fresh? I don't know... I hope that's how it works anyway. I think going in with high expectations and then seeing, well... not a lot on display, that ruined the experience for me, so even if they brought out the best of the best cake in the World... The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, there is a wide range of American treats to buy (oddly enough I do recommend the pizza flavoured Pringles!) and it is all-round a good fun place to hang out. I have had one of their famous "Freakshakes", it was a blueberry cheesecake flavoured one from a specials menu and came with a blueberry muffin on top, it was phenomenal! Fargo village is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon and a lot of that appeal comes from Spangles, they are a great asset to the Fargo community and I look forward to their next event!

I had to revisit the tea shop for another drink, because in my hometown we don't have any bubble tea shops like this one! On my second visit I had a bubble gum milkshake with blueberry bubble balls. This was my favorite drink. If I had more time in Coventry I would have returned again and again! I love the fun atmosphere of the shop with the bright colors! Bubble Boba is THE most amazing bubble tea shop in the world!…read more I don't say that biasedly because I'm in there almost every day and have tried all of the drinks on the menu... But because it's The Truth! They use the best ingredients, straight from manufacturers in Taiwan, which is where bubble tea originated from; everything certified by the EU and UK laws. Both Bubble Boba shops (Coventry & Cardiff) are an experience within themselves! From the really cool and fun decor, to the knowledgeable and friendly staff... I've never had a bad experience! Except maybe from the UK weather! The drink flavours are fun and unique, and many say taste "Just Like Home"! I've only been able to find Hokkaido Milk Tea in California, but Bubble Boba has it, along with Classic, Taro and other traditional flavours. They even have their own range of Cheesecake Drinks which are out of this world! Who would have thought to drink a cheesecake for dessert!? Hands down, Bubble Boba is the best. Live stage shows do put me off as I love to go out and dance, which on a tuesday are all the songs you secretly love no matter what! Saturdays the music is more up to date and feels more like a night out as there are no interruptions for stage antics. Breakfast was quite satisfying: beans well cooked- creamy, not too sweet, nice portion; wilted spinach and grilled tomato was fresh and flavorful; hash browns were the best- thick, fried hard but not burnt, and fully cooked; mushrooms very flavorful but a little undercooked for my personal taste. Cappuccino was strong in coffee. Foam wasn't as smooth as I've had it elsewhere, but good strong coffee nonetheless. I'll come again during my next stay in Cov.
