Everyone at the shop was super nice, they have a bar area that you can get food/drinks at for all the waiting people wait at to fill out forms and before the tattoo. They are EXTREMELY hygienic, Chu spent like 10 minutes wiping down and sanitizing her equipment and area before tattooing me and everyone (staff and guests) was required to wear masks. Glad they were being as safe as possible especially with COVID and monkeypox going around. The shop itself is super cool. Huge windows and it really has a nice open and modern concept to it. Great view of the city and very relaxing to get tattooed there. The tattoo turned out great for me! Was super fast, only lasted about 1-1.5 hours and Chu was super talkative and talked to me the whole time. She was very good about aftercare directions too and even didn't give me the second skin wrap since it itched for me on a previous tattoo. That definitely has helped as this tattoo is significantly less itchy that my previous one. Definitely would come back to get another tattoo from her. Clients are required to sanitize their hands and have their temperature checked. No more than 3 guest are permitted in the waiting area at a time. There is a backyard that clients are able to utilize to maintain social distancing. Walk-ins are welcomed, however, they are subject to artist availability. I returned many months after to fix the fact it was next to impossible to put a ring back in. They now have a new piercer. This b claimed she had to repierce, took out the ring I had in, THREW IT AWAY and put the other ring I provided in. She used no tools, just tiny sanitary napkins and did something I myself had done and didn't realize this was all the "professional" would do. Then she charged me $30, all while huffing and puffing about looking through the small trash bin she tossed my jewelry in and not letting me look through it despite my offering to more than once. She hung up on me otp and refused to own up to all her bs. She did me dirty, LITERALLY THROWING AWAY MY JEWELRY and acted like I did something wrong. Good thing I know people. Read below for details. In December 2022, the piercer at this place pierced my nostril at a weird angle (in addition to certainly hitting a vein causing tons of blood to poor down my face). Over 6 months later, I'd still been having trouble putting a hoop ring back in after taking it out to clean it. The ring would get bloody again as I kept trying to get it through. Last week, I just couldn't put the ring back in, so I placed another ring I had purchased elsewhere in, a stud. I liked the stones in the ring, but thought the metal was too dark. I went back to the place two days ago to simply get the hoop back in. They have a different piercer now. I told her what I wanted and never once said I didn't want the ring I was wearing. Just wanted the hoop in. I never said septum, but she responded clarifying what a septum is cuz she said I uttered septum. I told her she misheard me, but I should have taken that very seriously. This person continued to mishear me through every exchange we had. She said she had to repierce the hole, which was some con just to get money. She simply poked the ring I provided hard enough to make a new opening on the inside. This I definitely had done before. No tools used, only a few tiny square sanitary napkins. She threw the ring I first had on in the trash (a small bin). I asked for it and she realized she threw it away and kept saying I said I didn't want it. I never said I wanted to get rid of it or that I didn't want it. I just said I wanted the hoop back in. Also, it was not hers to throw away. She was in the wrong 100%, but as unprofessional as she is, she took no responsibility for her throwing my jewelry out. She made it such a big deal that she'd have to look through the trash for it and sanitize it. I offered more than once to look myself and she wouldn't let me. So I stepped out while she looked cuz the tattoo artist there added that it'd take 20-30min to sanitize. She had 2 hours to look for the ring that night and still didn't find it. She called to complain that she threw out my jewelry and had to look for it and said I had to pay 'just' $30 for her to push a ring harder into a piercing I already had. I said that I will pay, but the price should factor in the fact she threw away my ring. It is nuts that I was expected to pay to leave with less than what I came in with. She insisted that it is just a service charge, disregarding that her service was negligent and dumb. I didn't even say that I shouldn't have to pay at all since I got the initial piercing at that same place and they messed it up. I should not have to pay to fix their mistake. I did not say this cuz I knew this woman would not comprehend. Still, she misheard me and said'you don't want to pay at all'. I clarified that I would pay just the price should be moderated. And after I pushed back on paying the full charge of $30, since she tossed a ring I liked, she said, 'ok if you're gonna be like that, I'll talk to you later,' and hung up. Then when I called back, she said the phone had disconnected. Sure. I returned to the place, and she claimed she was still looking and had one corner left in the small bin to look. Ok. I paid $30, thinking maybe it will push her to find my ring that she threw out. She said she'd call me later that night with an update and she'd call me at 12 the following day (yesterday). Predictably, she didn't do either of these. In fact, I called them 6 times between 12pm and 1:30pm yesterday and no answer. I can't speak on the tattoos at this place, but I am never going there again. I can touch up my tattoo at a better place, where they, listen, are accountable for their actions and answer the phone. I advise no one come for piercings unless they want a completely unprofessional person to poke holes in their bodies and rip them off. Sound like a 'good vibe?'

Martha is the representative and Ed is the artist and Ed does not listen, does not want to talk and does NOT finish jobs that he starts. I came in for a tattoo and mentioned wanting a cover up. He shared he was working on a concept for melanated skin types regarding cover ups. I created a design and he applied it. My tattoo wraps around my ankle. He covered the front and even though I was willing to pay for the back he never mentioned this as a separate project until after coming in for work on several different occasions (he acted as if the back was included and made my piece much larger than I expected to manage covering up. When I began to remind him of the total project and moving toward the back he rushed and did not see my project through) So I have an old tattoo half covered up. He stopped the piece I created that wrapped around the ankles, mid ankle on both sides. Now I have to find an artist that uses his palette and can accommodate what he simply chose not to after trying his concept. Worst experience and professionalism EVER! He was so frustrated when I called him on it that his hand began to shake and when I asked if he needed a moment he said he was done and told me to leave during the last session. No multiple artists with many people milling around. Just one on one service. No loud blaring music. Just nice soothing sounds to calm you and project a peaceful environment. The studio is clean, you must remove your street shoes and bring clean footwear to enter. I was shown EVERY needle in a factory wrapped package and the expiration dates as well. Taino changed gloves whenever he paused his work just to keep everything sanitary. I'm not your typical tattoo person. I'm 60 years plus of age and I had my 1st tattoo at age 60. With this in mind Taino spent a decent amount of time showing me my" tattoo vision" on his iPad. Very Very patiient and very informative as to my different options. It made me feel confident in my final decisions. As for the actual work, the artwork was beyond expectations. In fact, I wanted color but now leaning toward just B&W it is that good.. So that I am 100% satisfied I was advised to take my time and think over my color options. Another session was booked ( no additional charge) at a later date to see if I want to add, enhance or keep same color to the tattoo. The complete process was done in a professional and customer service like manner. Everything was explained and no question was deemed to be dumb. His wife Martha assisted with the booking and my initial questions. In a nutshell, I was treated like family, the end product is beyond expectations, cleanliness is a top priority and my experience compared to my other is much much better.

I've had other piercings before and generally when you buy the studs, you buy the pair - but this was not the case. I found that a little weird. They don't take credit cards and only venmo, zelle, cash, etc. They were nice, but the person who did the piercing seemed a little either not completely knowledable or standoffish, I can't tell which one. She seemed competent (that's why I let her do the piercing) but any follow up question was given with responses of just a few words.
