I'm a fool for a nice t-shirt, and this place has tons of them. Middle aged gentleman was exceedingly helpful, as was the younger woman working there today. I actually asked the man if he owned the shop. He laughed and said no. I said he should--his service was that good. Can't say the same about the older woman also behind the counter (probably the actual owner), who couldn't be bothered to even look up from her texts and iPad, while I was standing there waiting to be checked out. 5 stars minus her. I remember getting my first item from Crazy Shirts, this was back decades ago in California. I have always liked their quality, their styles and their prices. Crazy Shirts legacy began in 1964, when a guy named Rick Ralston founded one of the first companies in the world to sell the modern "T-Shirt" using distinctive designs to reflect the exuberant Island lifestyle. Ralston set-up shop on a Waikiki sidewalk charging $5 to airbrush monsters, hot rods and surfing scenes on T-shirts. The company was then purchased by Only the Best, Inc. in 2001. Since then the corporation has evolved into an internationally recognized casual apparel brand. For almost 60 years, they have clothed millions of customers. This particular store is located at 503 Duval St, 1/2 way between the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean in beautiful Old Town Key West. Ordered a shirt online because the store did not have my size. The print on the back was printed crooked and not-centered. So I called to ask about exchanging it for another one. I was told they do not do exchanges but need to send it back and just order another one. So I did. The second one came and also printed crooked. Clearly there is no quality control before shipping out orders or before putting items on the market. So I sent the second one back. Tracking shows the first one arrived to them over 3 weeks ago now; the second one arrived 10 days ago. I have not been refunded for either one. I keep calling to ask and they say 'we apologize for the delay but it should be processed within the next few days'. Are they going to say this until i just give up? Sorry - I will not give up. Crazy Shirts is a cool place to shop for shirts and clothing that will stand out which is something that I want to have on some occasions. I really liked their selection and variety of different shirt options. Several of the shirts were really funny. The staff here is cool band helpful and was able to provide really good assistance. Be careful with the staff in this store! We paid the double price! We had been told that the credit card system is frozen, and we wanted the shirts quite badly. So we were asked to pay in cash! And should not worried because the transaction aborted! For our surprise the credit card go charged a few days later - All efforts from our site to get ion contact with crazy shirts and the store are un-answered - phone calls ended after explaining the issue. After seeing that we are not the first tourist who trapped into this be warned! Shirts are still awesome - but with a very bitte after taste of this experience. read more

The girl there called the cop on me for standing in front of the store. This was after I had already purchased a shirt! I would give a negative star if I could. Crazy Shirts has a good product. Their uniquely designed t-shirts are heavy cotton and well-made. They change designs frequently and their shirts are (according to Crazy Shirts) colored with a variety of natural products - hemp: green, beer: yellow, reddish: chili peppers, etc. You're going to pay $30 for a t-shirt, but it'll last for years. Crazy Shirts are usually located in unique high-traffic tourist spots and they incorporate the location into many of their designs. For this reason, a Crazy Shirt shirt can be a good memento of a special trip. read more

So I needed presents for friends and family that were not toxicly spring breakish, not profane, and didn't have 'BOOTY' or 'JUICY" on them in 4" high lettering. This place has a lot of really nice, classy yet fun stuff, and uses some unique dye methods, including the use of coffee, chocolate, hemp, and blue Hawaiian. Sadly only the coffee and chocolate smell like their origins. Staff is helpful and friendly, the shirts and hoodies I bought were loved by the people who got them, so wins all around! read more

I came here in a panic to find a long sleeve water shirt for my 11yr old! Sean was working & was very sympathetic to my urgency!! He not only helped me with sizing he was very knowledgeable about the shirts! He made my shopping expedition so much fun!! Earlier this evening, my parents, sister, and I decided to come into this store location, being that we are avid customers to Crazy Shirts whenever we visit Florida on vacation. This was our first time in Key West at this location, and it was definitely an experience that took me off guard. I walked into the store with my parents and sister because my dad wanted to purchase a shirt. The woman behind the counter, named Michelle, was everything you wouldn't want in an employee working at your store. She was disrespectful, aggressive, and provocative. Right when I stepped foot in the door, she voiced her opinion where no opinion was necessary/wanted. My dad asked me for the opinion on a shirt, that he already has in two other colors from previous purchases. I suggested that my dad try a different shirt since he already has that exact same shirt. She joined the conversation and rudely said "Let him get whatever shirt he wants. Don't give your father attitude." My father and I were taken by shock, but realized quickly this woman has no filter, so it was better to lay low and ignore the inappropriate comment. A few minutes later, my father asked me to get him another size in a shirt he was trying on. The shirt was high up, so as an 18-year-old I decided to jump up and grab the shirt. No harm was done, but in her eyes I did something wrong. She said "Don't jump up and grab that damn shirt. I could've gotten it." I said "Okay, I'm sorry." she said "Don't get snippy with me girl, I don't think YOU understand." At this point I said to myself, I could either become vulgar, or be the bigger person and leave. I said "You know what I think I'm gonna leave." And I walked out of the store. I was very taken back and overwhelmed at the fact that an employee, would be so aggressive towards a customer. Not only was I embarrassed that other customers had to witness me being attacked in a store I've loved for years, but I was angry at the fact that an employee could speak to me with such vulgarity. Clearly there are emotional/mental issues that employee is going through to make her lash out at a customer for doing absolutely nothing. It is sad to say, but I will no longer be shopping at Crazy Shirts because of this horrific experience. And as for the Key West location of Crazy Shirts and the employee named Michelle, good luck when she's working, because I'm sure I won't be the only business you're losing. read more
