We had landscaping and planting done last year and spent $7683.00. We were generally pleased with the work done BUT 4 of the 6 plants (podocapus) died. The last 2 look like they may die. We spent close to $800 just for plants. When we called, we were told that there was nothing they could do. No guarantees or warranty. Upon review of our estimate, we saw that "warranty is only provided for materials installed under functional irrigation system ". We have no irrigation system and this was not discussed or explained when work was done. Even Home Depot and Lowe's guarantees plants for a year! Very disappointed in Crawford Landscaping response. An estimator visited with me about my project and while she was nice enough, she later sent me a Sky High quote that was detailed on the materials to be used. It just said " as discussed? This company was 50% higher than the competition and when I asked what we could do to get the pricing down so that I could hire them, the estimator said nothing could be done and she understood if I needed to go with the other company. She made me feel as if they didn't want my business and no follow up calls either. So I would never recommend them to my friends or family. Very poor services for landscaping. Every time after treatment, my lawn just died. I spent so much time to buy lawn repair to repair myself. I water one hour for the lawn every day except the raining days. Adam still said water more for the lawn. They gave me the cheap timer and y connector, they didn't show me the instructions. Three months later they were broke. The equipment has 7 years guarantee. They said they don't have receipts. they said will fix because they did not put the washer inside the hose after three months later it is still leaking. Their rider hit my back yard fence and trellis. By the end of season they just repaired them. they mow grass every week even the hot weather. when I came home from work, the grass always dried out and died too. Every time I complained to Adam, he threatened me that he was going to block my phone. read more

Crawford Landscaping will forever be our "Go To" company for outdoor projects. We needed a significant amount of hard and soft-scaping done at our house as part of an exterior renovation. Due to the scope, we brought in several companies to propose solutions. Crawford stood out from the pack for a few reasons. 1.) Christian (owner) listened and included our feedback into his proposal 2.) We trusted him and felt he'd be fair to work through issues with 3.) He was confident in executing what we thought was a fair proposal. We had several contractors involved in the renovation - and while some of them were excellent - Crawford Landscaping was by far the most pleasant to work with. Crawford has experienced crews, and Christian seems to have a great repport with his teams - which likely contributes to their success, and in our case satisfaction. Project Summary -Front- -Removed Large Tree causing damage -Removed and in some cases transplanted (to back yard) overgrown shrubs -Removed concrete walkway, replaced with large paver walkway -Removed front stoop, replaced with wider and deeper stoop (fieldstone / paver combo) -Created planting bed between walkway entrances -Built up bed left of stoop with boulders -Brought in complete new landscaping package including new plantings and boulders -Ran new drain pipes from all gutters, as well as catch basins in large front bed -Installed new irrigation where appropriate. Guy came out on 4/11 to do an estimate on a small backyard landscape. He had some ideas said he would have an estimate in 2-3 days. It has been 2 weeks. No one answers the phone there and voice mail is full! When I finally reached someone earlier in the week, they said they would look in to it but they were backed up - I left a message on their website - contact us.....No phone call, no estimate. Moving on to someone who actually need the business! Today 4/26 got a call and said they had the wrong E-Mail address, please call to update....OK but someone could have called before now. read more

Terrible company. They never answer the phone and take forever to respond to emails. Every time you speak to somebody it's someone different because the turnover it in the company is so high. Inconsistent service. Never send invoices out on time and you cannot pay online. Very poorly ran operation. The owners really should look into how many unhappy customers they have. We have about half a dozen homes in our neighborhood that currently use them and we are all looking to change companies. read more

Had high hopes for this company after reading the reviews, but my husband and I had an unfortunate experience. To be brief - neither our irises nor our liriope was actually planted. Instead, the crew just placed them on the ground where they were meant to go and then left. We had to call them to come back to have the situation addressed. Within a week, many of the plants we paid them to remove - including an entire bed of canna lillies - had not been removed at all! On closer inspection, the beds' soil had not been disturbed in any way, meaning no effort was made to remove any of the cannas or other plants we had specifically requested be removed from the bed. It's also important that the beds were not tilled because we paid to have those beds completely destroyed, and then seeded for grass. Because the beds were not tilled or any of the cannas removed, my husband and I had to do this work ourselves and reseed. When we called and emailed to have the situations addressed, we were offered no option except to have the crew come out again to remove whatever plants my husband and I might have missed. I explained that my husband and I already did that work ourselves, and that fresh grass was now growing in that area, but was met with the same: we'll come out and remove whatever else you find. Too little, too late. It shouldn't take 3 trips to our house to do a job that should have been done correctly the first time. Very disappointed. read more

Very dishonest company. We had two other estimates to fill a sink hole that quoted 5 to 6 truck loads ( tandems) of dirt. Crawford landscaping told us the same hole will require 50 truck loads of dirt. I even spoke to the dirt company and gave them the dimensions of the hole, and they confirmed the 5 to 6 truckloads. We were prepared to hear it may need more dirt than that if it was compressed well, but 50? A difference of $1600 to Crawfords quote of $16,000 read more

I can't say it any better than John and other reviewers. I had a similar great experience. They aren't the cheapest costwise, and I must say I had a mild case of sticker shock upon receiving the quote. With no time to hassle and get other estimates, I went with them and I'm glad I did. Worth not having to hassle with somebody to come back and fix things. My job was to fix sprinkler hose, reconnect drainage pipes, spray weed control, trimming, install large paver steps, and a long list. It was a matter of a bunch of little things added up to a lot. I will be enlisting their help on the neverending list of projects in the yard. read more
