Beaver Bill's Tree Demolition lives up to the positive reviews they've earned. They provided a fair estimate and competitive pricing. Bill listened to all my tree removal concerns and answered my questions. We came up with a strategy that was to my satisfaction, especially concerning protecting my lawn (certainly a biggie for me). Bill took care of all the necessary permit paperwork, and communications, with the city where I reside. On the day of work, Bill's crew was prompt, professional, prepared and ready to work. They were nice and didn't mind my looking on. The work was done safely and efficiently. Afterwards, they cleaned up well leaving my property looking great.

Didn't have equipment to trim trees and ended up borrowing my ladder to trim one of the trees. All of the trimming was poorly done. Be careful because not all of these lawn service companies have a specialty in cutting trees. They don't.

I have called numerous times, left many messages, received promises that they would come out and finish the job. To date no one has showed up or called. I will never use this company again. I see from other reviews this company has really made some messes and never cleaned them up. I don't know how they are staying in business. I advise everyone to seek help from other companies. I rarely wish I could give negative stars, but this "company" is unreal. The owner and one other…read moreman came out two days ago to remove stumps from my yard (debris from hurricane Michael). He gave us an outrageous price, but we agreed since we were told that our yard would look like it did when they arrived and we knew that wouldn't be an easy job given the size of our stumps and our yard. His assistant had to borrow tools and oil for his chainsaw from my husband.. what professional comes that unprepared? They ran over my neighbor's yard with their machine and completely destroyed my yard. It looked as if bombs had gone off in our backyard and every single stump was still there, cut up in my yard. At first, the only thing I requested he fix was my neighbor's property. He told my husband to go buy soil and he'd come back to rake it, then drove away (never to return). I called his office and had a five hour long back and forth resulting with him hanging up on me and refusing to fix or refund anything because he "did a great job." His office sent out some landscapers the next day that somewhat fixed my back yard, but totally destroyed the yard on the side of my house. We have already spent hundreds of dollars fixing what he had destroyed and we have barely even started. We discovered today that not one root system was removed. I called the owner asking for his business license number and he told me he would not help me and hung up on me. I called the city of Atlanta and he does not have a license. Save yourself thousands of dollars, many many headaches, and please do not do business with these unprofessionals.

Avoid at All Costs - Unreliable and Dishonest…read more I hired King Ellis for sodding and tree trimming based on what appeared to be positive reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. After taking a deposit upfront, King gave me multiple dates for when the work would begin--and each time, he was a no-show. No courtesy calls, no updates, just empty promises. Eventually, he completely disappeared. No responses to texts, calls, or messages--just full-on ghosted me. It's clear now that he had no intention of doing the work after taking the deposit. This is unprofessional, unethical, and borderline fraudulent. I strongly caution anyone considering working with him or his company. Do not trust King Ellis. He took my money and vanished. I have since reported him on Thumbtack and recommend others do the same to prevent this from happening to anyone else.
