Yum!
Kelley H.

Great little hole in the wall place! The wait staff have always been so friendly. Family owned. Right now as of 04/19/2025, Crawfish is $7.99 a pound or $25 for 3 lbs crawfish with 2 potatoes and corn. They have always been a good size and good flavor. I've been multiple times over the past couple of years and have never had a bad experience. Parking can be kinda hectic sometimes but otherwise great!

Crawfish are spicy and the three pound special is an ideal size---comes with 2-3 potatoes and corn. I add a sausage link. Staff is friendly and helpful. Worth waiting on a busy night

Unforgettable dinner with friends.

I adore coming here !! This place is about 2 things , boiled crawfish and wonderful customer service, and they knock it outta the park.

3lbs Crawfish platter with double corn. 1/2 lb shrimp on the side

Crawfish was perfect cooked but seasoning was pretty salty. Crawfish seemed not cleaned all too well. Shrimp was also pretty salty. Would recommend if nearby but wouldn't be opposed to finding other options.

Small crawfish and seemed like more potatoes than crawfish. It's not bad, but I'd pay good money for decent size crawfish.

Crawfish Palace never disappoints with food. Just recommend going at a non-busy time. The parking is a little scarce.

They were very nice sized and way bigger than two of the other locations I've tried in Shreveport.

The employees of the Thrifty Liquor on east Texas have the worst employees I've ever experienced in…read moremy 58 years on earth! I called them about three weeks ago to see if they did Western Union, a male employee with a beard or goatee answered the phone and said yes we do send and receive Western Union. I graciously said thank you. I then walked 2 miles from my place of residence to the store to get my Western Union that my husband sent me and oh sorry it's down and not working (no sorry was said) I said I just called up here and they didn't apologize or show any empathy for me. I am like I said a 58 year old woman who is on disability. it's not bad enough that they said yes we do them but didn't care about me walking the distance to the store. I don't drink nor am I an adduct. I do spend $20 ever other day there and do not appreciate being told one thing and another being the case. Today I called to see if it was working and told yes and I then asked what time Western Union stops and the same male employee told me yes its working and we stop at 7:00, I said fine and hung up. Walked once again the two miles to the store only to be told it's too late. I got there at 6:45 and they said we aren't doing western Union. I said but you told me 7:00 and that was not true. Said male employee told me when the other person working left they couldn't do them anymore. I said ok what time did that employee get off (no names were mentioned or even asked) just wanting to know if it's not 7:00 why did you tell me that. I got upset but I never yelled just told the male employee why would they say one thing and do another? He was very rude and told me to leave I said I just wanted to know why? He proceeded to say he would call the police which is so funny I was not causing a scene or anything just stating facts to how I was treated. He said I was banned from the store which I popped off I don't care call the police and walked out. He then yelled at me stop I am calling the police I said call them I was not wrong.

Love me some Thrifty...this is a local liquor store chain in the Shreveport/Bossier City…read morearea...they have somewhere between 5 and 10 stores scattered throughout Bossier and Caddo Parishes, so there is most likely a convenient location to where you may happen to be.... Excellent selection of beer, wine and hard liquor at all stores I've been in...which is pretty much all of them....great prices on tobacco products as well.... Need to pick up some adult beverages...Thrifty has what you need or want!!

For Confederate RR…read moreit poured down rain and the tables are reserved so we had to hijack a reserved space to get out of the rain. CRR played through it though and that was awesome. For the next event- a band I didn't know and don't remember- I was RIGHT UP FRONT. And the lead singer seemed to take a liking to my friend, so she got special attention. That was fun. For both events the beer was expensive, but not hard to come by. The ticket prices vary by venue but aren't unreasonable. I do recommend this venue if you really want to see 'that band ' .

An outdoor venue that in the past has hosted a…read moremore diverse selection of live, musical entertainment (Ted Nugent, Sebastian Bach, Better Than Ezra...Jamie Lynn Spears!!!), but as of late has skewed more, and maybe more naturally, towards the country music genre. This venue is located on the same compound, and directly adjacent to the BBQ pit, Silver Star Smokehouse & Saloon. It is in the rural realm of Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott's hometown of Haughton, but is still in Bossier City, right off Highway 80 in close proximity also to Harrah's Louisiana Downs horserace track and casino and hotels. The Bossier City Police Department maintains a friendly and welcoming, but heavy presence here during shows. The setup here is amphitheater-style, and actually makes for a quite enjoyable and intimate live music experience. We were situated primarily and relatively in the back of the house, as it were. We could see, and definitely hear the acts just fine. And though, it's the middle of the summer, thankfully, even with all the bodies in attendance, the stage lights, and other various lighting systems overhead, it never got too killin' hot. There are plenty of long beer tubs, iced down and adequately staffed around the area, making it very easy to grab an ice cold tall boy! There is also a two-sided, long bar in a tiny saloon close by, also adequately staffed to mix up your favorite batch of poison. There are beers-a-poppin', drinks being slung, and barbacks running every which way. The place is in motion, and running like a top. This is a solidly-run production. Parking is free, self-service, no valet, and there's plenty of it. There are three clearly-marked parking sections that distinctly go the distance from closest to The Stage, to furthest away. And in that order, they are as follows: Paved asphalt, then Gravel, and then lastly, the lawn (or grass). For Pat Green, last night's phenomenal performance, we parked in the outer reaches of the grass. (Pat Green? Grass?...Green? Grass? Buuuuaaaahahahahaha!!!...C'mon, people!!! Work with me here!!) But even if you park at a distance on the property, the walk is a pleasant and short one to the entrance. Ticket prices are agreeably kind to the ol' wallet, and I would gladly return for another event at this location!
