They have a kitchen but I've never eaten here but the word is the food is good...They used to throw a Steak Night special on Thursdays but I'm not sure if they still do that or not and in season they boil up soem crawfish and people have told me they do it right... The owner, Dee, is one cool cat...I enjoy smoking a cigar with him when I drop in...last time in I think I was the one doing the owing so I stepped back out to my truck grabbed a coupla stogies and we fired them up and enjoyed... They have quite a few TVs and I know it's called a Sports Bar but I think it's more akin to a lively dive with TVs...Not sure on Thursdays but I know on Friday and Saturday nights they typically have a DJ or some live music act playing...pretty sure they do karaoke just not sure when... It's a local's kinda bar cause let's face it...if your in Shreveport/Bossier you're most likely gonna be spending your time downtown or at the Casinos instead of driving out to the thickets of Benton, LA for your drinking and musical pleasure BUT if you do decide to venture out I think you'll be made to feel welcome and you'll probably have a better time than you imagined...I always have!!!

At the bar I work for it would have been $26.50. The outdoor space had been cleaned up. The old bar was removed. The food shack had been cleaned out. The covered area opened up. Although the scaffolding was still present and probably holding the roof up. The lawn area inside the enclosure was groomed. The access to the grassy area outside by the bayou was restricted and still overgrown. Edit to add. The lawn closest to the property is cleaned up. The grass closest to the bayou is not.
