We went yesterday and ordered the 10 lb family deal! It was delicious, only good and bad thing is we asked for spicy & they gave us exactly that. In a good and bad way. We were not able to finish it because of how extremely spicy it turned out to be. So I would suggest thinking twice before requesting spicy. Although living in atascocita forever, we just recently decided to try it. We love it. Great environment and the food for the most part is delicious and reasonably priced. I've been ordering the boiled shrimp with the butter sauce and I have no complaints! My friend ordered the crawfish and noticed a lot of loose claws big and small with little to no meat and wondered how much of that added to his pound. It's BYOB and we didn't have a cooler so they offered their walk in which was great, but very questionable. The biggest complaint I have which is why I gave 4 stars is we noticed a man, possibly the cook, in the kitchen smoking. He also came out and was cleaning the eating areas still smoking. I had never been to crawfish connection before. I have lived in Humble for 11 years. I have been passing this place for some time now. I really wanted some crawfish and didn't want to drive all the way to BB's, so I decided to give them a try. I'm no crawfish expert but my husband is. We were so disappointed we ordered the 3 lbs with potatoes and two corns. When we got home and poured out the crawfish a good portion of them we not edible. My husband stated that they were mushy because they were cooked dead. It was just a waste of money. 3 lbs and about 1/2 lb was no good. I will not return here. I can't believe they would serve crawfish like that. So if you don't mind paying for 3 lbs but only bring able to consume 2 1/2 then I would recommend this place. As for flavor... They were ok. The only two drawbacks are that they don't have kids meals (like Zydeclaws does) for those of us with crazy kids who don't like crawfish, and we tend to get a few too many loose claws than we would like, making me wonder how much of what we are paying for is actually inedible. Seasoning is great. Potatoes can be a bit more bland than other places once you bite in, but they don't give you corn unless you ask for it, which I really like. I wish crawfish season is year-long. I have been going to this shack of crawfish haven for several years now (8?). It is so addicting! Their seasoning is perfect with the right kick of spice! I always get extra corn on the cob and a six pack to match it with. One sunday night, i came here with a friend. We parked his truck on the little "picnic area", sat on the tailgate - ate crawfish & drink beer. The people there were so nice to let us stay past their closing time. First of all, yelp shows this place on the wrong side of us59. Regarding the food, we had 10 lbs of crawfish, some boudin, potatoes, mushrooms, and some shrimp. The boudin was pretty good, the shrimp was way overcooked. The potatoes and mushrooms were good, and the crawfish was also good. My big problem with this place is the really significant amount of the crawfish that was just loose heads, pinchers or obviously dead ones that were in there. For their prices, I expect way better quality control. Its for this reason that we will not be back. read more

Stopped by here to satisfy a crawfish craving that I've had for a while. I love how the drive through is convenient and pretty fast, however that's about as good as my review is going to get. I was really disappointed when I got home and tried out the crawfish. About 1/4 of my bag was nothing but leg and claw debris. In addition, the crawfish weren't properly soaked or cleaned either. It was like they were boiled then immediately packed to be served. I just expected better from an establishment that specializes in serving crawfish! Crawfish should be purged before they're cooked and then left in the seasoning for at least 20 minutes to soak up the flavor! All I got was muddy tasting, under seasoned crawfish.
