CRAVING... is the best word choice! Whenever I'm out this way, I have to stop here. It's called Cravin Crabs but they have everything!! You can get steamed crabs which are always full and heavy whenever I've gone. They have a variety of sizes and cook them fresh and have never had a bad experience. Prices today for crabs ranged from $39 to $100+ for a dozen but you can also order bushels. But that's not all.... they also sell oysters, shrimp, crawfish, and have ready made crab cakes with actual chunks of crabs meat. You can buy the crab cakes and go home and drop them in the broiler. They are delicious! Another surprise is they have a snowball stand! Didn't get a snowball but will for sure grab one next time. It's not an eat in restaurant. This is a carry out location. They have a decent surface lot but are on the edge of a residential neighborhood so street parking is also available. I bought two ready made crab cakes today and loved them as usual. #yummo

My co worker suggested this place and let's just say I am so glad he did. Crabs we're seasoned so good. We got 3 dozen regular males nice and heavy. We also ordered a dozen of the corn on the cob, very good. Let me tell you tho the shrimp with the onions and potatoes smh nothing like it. So so good. Ill definitely be back and recommend. Also thank you for great customer service with having my order ready ahead of time and helping with my bags to the car. Thanks again

Mushy crab meat

I use to love Cravin Crab but as of lately, my experience has been terrible! Im sick of the small over priced mushy crabs!! The large crabs are more of a "small size" crab and nowadays their crabs don't have any meat in them! What a waste! Thank God I only got a 1/2 doz!! Check the pic's because I can't make this up! I wish Blue crabs Unlimited in Elkridge Maryland was open today because I wouldn't have given Cravin Crabs a dime of my money. I'm tired of being disappointed.... There is a reason why their reviews are so low! #staywoke

Ordered a dozen Large for $79 from Cravin' Crabs last night. The order came to just under $82 with a roll of paper. They were really small and paper thin, medium at best. Was only able to eat 5 after my 3rd one being so mushy(like they were reheated). I still have 5 of them in the bag they gave me, which I put in my freezer. To say the least, I usually am very happy with crabs there so I don't know what happened. I called them and spoke to a manager with the intention of bringing them back but I was a half hour away and when I got there at 912pm, found they closed at 9. Dear Cravin' Crabs...I'd really like to get these 5 crabs replaced that I didn't eat. Can you please let me know if you will?

Delightful and delicious crabs. Heavily seasoned. Fresh and sweet. The bushel had around 30 crabs. They were nice and full of meat. We also enjoyed sweet Gulf shrimp with potatoes and onions and two cons of corn . Our order was called ahead so it would be ready when we arrived. They also sold snowballs. There was a regular flow of people picking up or placing orders. Cravin'crabs sells crabs year round!

Placed my hand next to it for comparison. This is DEFINITELY not an extra large crab.

The Jumbo crabs are way too small for $119.00 !!! I'm done with this place! Get bigger crabs or lower your prices!

The crab soup taste scorched and not a good crab in the bunch. I just think the crabs are either old or half dead when they cooked them

Way too much seasoning on the crabs, looked like they were breaded! Ordered large dozen and all were decent size.

I ate here a few times and had some of the best wings I ever had. They were fresh and crispy, and had this Old Bay Honey sauce which was quite amazing. The wings stayed crispy the entire time too. I would have loved to try the buffalo too just because the wings themselves were so good. The Creamy Crab Soup was also wonderful. A bowl was $13 but it was a good size, piping hot, and loaded with chunks of crab! So good... and something I wanted to be crabby! The Crab Cake was great too. It wasn't lump crab (nor did it claim to be), but the exterior was crispy and the inside was moist and delicious. It was even better with the orange sauce (color, not flavor) that was brought out after. It might be the onion ring sauce, but the waitress wasn't sure. It needed it! I wanted to go to the bar a few times, but during the week, it was kinda packed without an open seat. Bummer! I'll guess it's a popular place with guests.

The ribeye was cooked perfectly and the sides were delicious. My wife rockfish was excellent. Despite being a hotel restaurant, this was a steakhouse level experience. It was enough to convince me that it might be time to switch my commitment to Hilton over to Marriott.

You can tell this place has a lot of history behind it, and I love the location too. It's such a vibe to sit here with a lobster roll. Their fries are also delicious -- I asked for aioli even though it doesn't come with them originally, and their housemade aioli was so worth asking for. Highly recommend doing the same! And again, apparently BTS booked the whole place out for a day!!! That should tell you everything. Would absolutely come back.

As soon as we walked in, you are hit with a very potent smell of seafood, not in an appetizing way. After waiting like 15 minutes past our reservation time, we were seated upstairs. The service was decent and attentive. The food was solid. The calamari and the shrimp roll were enjoyable. My fish and chips was just okay. They did send out a dessert, on the house, since we did have to wait past our reservation time which was a nice gesture. Overall, I cannot see myself returning, especially since there are so many other options for seafood in the area.

The area crab lovers like myself have been to Mike's, Cantlers and Harris' across the Bay Bridge but for some reason "The Point" had missed my radar. What we found out is, you better get there early because they don't take reservations and they fill up FAST!!! They open at 11am and we arrived at 1 and there was already an hour wait. Luckily, there was an open bar pub table that just vacated so the crab Gods were working in our favor!! Lol :)) The pub tables are attached to the bar so you have to order from the bar.. No big deal for me but she didn't care for it.. Lol. I was amazed at how reasonable the prices were for XL Crabs and was wondering if they really were XL for $140 a dozen? I'm thrilled to report, these were the best crabs I've had in memory. Big, meaty and sweet.. Omg!!! We could not get over the amount of meat that were coming out of these things and they were delicious!!!! The Point has become my favorite dine in crab spot in just one visit. When you're great you're great.. Nuff said!
