I had an absolutely phenomenal experience with Dr. James, and her team. I went in for my annual…read morecleaning, and walked away feeling empowered. Erica, my hygienist, educated me on my gum health, and noticed signs of wear on my teeth due to clenching; which I imagine I do when I'm sleeping. Erica took photos of each tooth, measured my gums, and validated that my oral hygiene practices at home are on par. During my examination, we saw signs of decay, and there was enough time in the schedule for me to start the process of placing a crown on my tooth. From the moment Dr. James numbed me to the moment my temporary crown was placed, I was treated with the utmost care. The team remembered my son, who visited not too long ago, and were as joyful and relatable as can be. They even offered me a cozy blanket during my procedure! I mean, who does that? Pecan Park Family Dentistry does! All in all, though it was my first time at their practice, I was made to feel like family. Like I was being taken care of by my girlfriends, and I am beyond grateful to have crossed paths with them!

After more than 10 years with this practice, I'm incredibly disappointed to be writing this…read more I'm autistic, and like many neurodivergent people, I struggle with scheduling and making it to appointments. I want to be clear: I am already deeply aware of this, and I feel embarrassed and awful when it happens. Nothing feels worse than standing at the garage door with my keys in hand, frozen, shaking, overwhelmed, and filled with guilt. This isn't carelessness or laziness, it's something I actively work to manage. I also understand that missed appointments affect a business, and I am willing to accept financial penalties when appropriate. I appreciate that Pecan Park Dental has waived some missed appointment fees for me in the past. However, my most recent experience felt shaming and dismissive of my disability, and I left in tears. The morning of a scheduled appointment, I was called and told my insurance would not cover the visit because I had hit my maximum. I was told I would need to pay $540 out of pocket for a routine cleaning. I could not afford that and chose to reschedule for a future date when my insurance would cover it. At that time, I was told I would still be charged a $100 late cancellation fee, even though this cost was only communicated to me the morning of the appointment. When I returned months later for the rescheduled visit, I tried to explain that this situation resulted from an insurance and communication issue. Instead of working with me, I was repeatedly pressured in the waiting room to pay the $100 fee. I explained multiple times that I did not have the money that day. I was asked for credit card information over and over, in front of my daughter and other patients. It was humiliating. I ended up crying in the office while still being asked for payment. When I later tried to explain the situation, I was sent a chart of my missed appointments. It felt less like an attempt to understand and more like an effort to reinforce guilt. That approach isn't helpful, it adds to the shame and makes it even harder to access care. Experiences like this are exactly why many neurodivergent people avoid healthcare altogether. It becomes easier to avoid appointments than to face anxiety, shame, and financial penalties. I don't believe this is about bad intent, but it reflects a system that prioritizes policies and revenue over patient-centered care and basic compassion. After more than a decade as a loyal patient, and bringing multiple family members to this practice, I expected more understanding and professionalism. Because of this experience, I will be moving my care, along with my family's care, to a different provider. I hope this practice reflects on how it communicates with and supports patients, especially those with anxiety, autism, or other neurodivergent needs. No patient should be made to feel this way while seeking care

He was very personable and had a great sense of humor. His dental assistant, Nancy was very sweet and made my son very comfortable. Parking was label and we parked right up front. Melissa was there to greet us upon arrival and was very professional at check in. I am not sure why they have revived such low reviews. This palace was fabulous! My insurance was verified before I arrived and there were no surprises. He has on more tooth to be done. Once that is finished I will give a final review. So far so good!

I missed 1 6 month check up because I moved so I became a new patient at Omni. They didn't even clean my teeth! Stabbed me repeatedly in my gums, I still have cuts hours later and said "Oh if I touch gently it bleeds" Continues to say I have a tooth that needs IMMEDIATE attention because it is decaying(no pain and it looks the same it's looked my entire life) She then continues to say 2 teeth have cracks in them. When I asked to see photos, they said it was really really hard to see but it's there and just to trust them! They originally said the problem was my back left molar, then said it was my back right molar, then said it was a different tooth on my right side. I told them I had fillings as a child, she said "Yes they used to be silver and now they're not so that's decay" I informed her I have never had a silver filling and then she back tracked saying that's not what she meant. She suggested I see a "deep clean specialist" since my teeth were allegedly so bad. I told them I was leaving and this was very strange after keeping up appointments my whole life I suddenly have very very expensive issues to deal with. I requested a copy of all my pictures and x-rays SPECIFICALLY the ones that show the problem spots. I was handed 2 pages of x rays and told that the others would be an additional charge because they are digital. Go figure the ones that allegedly show the problems are more money. Do not go here!!!

I've been a patient for almost two years, and my teeth honestly feel like they're at their absolute best. As an avid coffee drinker, having white teeth matters to me--and their Zoom whitening service is AMAZING. The results are noticeable and long-lasting, and the process was comfortable and professional from start to finish. Their sweet RDA, Sara, was incredibly helpful, patient, and thorough!! What really sets this office apart is how attentive and proactive they are. During my last cleaning with Jordan (who is an extraordinary hygienist, btw,) I mentioned that I had recently learned I have sleep apnea and that a C-PAP machine wasn't a good fit for me. Dr. Ardita Ormeni took the time to listen and then created a custom oral appliance to help me sleep better--life-changing care that goes well beyond routine dentistry. The entire staff is friendly, personable, and genuinely caring. The office is beautiful, spotless, and equipped with modern, up-to-date technology, which makes every visit comfortable and reassuring. If you're looking for exceptional dental care, a warm and welcoming team, and truly personalized treatment, I highly recommend Park Family Dental. Your smile--and your overall health--will be in the best hands!
