But clients should be aware that by going to your house you are missing on the improved quality that a proper shop environment would provide (improved tools, paint job and more materials), and this is not well communicated by Fender Menders. After the service, I called mentioning that it wasn't looking finished yet, I was told that I should, myself, wait for 3 weeks then wet sand the area then wax it. If this was mentioned prior to the service I would be fine, but it wasn't. I guess to summarize my feedback: * Over-communicate what is and what isn't included on the service. * Make sure people understand what they are missing out for not going to a proper body shop space. * I'd suggest doing a second visit for so that the sanding and waxing can be done properly and so that any missing imperfections can be fixed. I hope the service improves with this feedback.

Most recently Timothy repaired damage on my mom's 2015 BMW Z4, including the passenger side rocker panel and front bumper area. The car came back looking absolutely brand new. The attention to detail, paint match, body lines, and finish quality were excellent. You honestly cannot tell the vehicle was ever damaged. Timothy clearly takes pride in his work and did the repair correctly instead of rushing through it. What impressed me even more was the professionalism. This was a mobile repair at the house, and right before he arrived a large tree removal crew showed up next door with lifts, equipment, noise, and workers all around the driveway area where he was supposed to work. Instead of complaining or getting flustered, he calmly worked through the distraction, stayed focused, and still completed the project on schedule with excellent results. My mom is 90 and still enjoys driving her BMW Z4, so let's just say it's good to have someone trustworthy like this in the Rolodex when life happens. Fair pricing, quality workmanship, convenience, and professionalism are getting harder to find these days. There were several reasons I bought the van. I needed something to help my mother haul things, and I also needed a vehicle that would allow me to pick up furniture and other items from Facebook Marketplace. It's old, but it works, most of the time. The other day, I had an epic radiator leak. The van overheated, and smoke and steam were billowing into the air so badly that it looked like the vehicle was on fire. It was scary, but I was able to get a tow to this mechanic, who happened to be the closest shop to where I was stranded. This mechanic could have easily taken advantage of me. I was stranded, stressed out, and completely dependent on them to tell me what was wrong. They could have told me I needed hundreds or even thousands of dollars in repairs, but they chose to do something that unfortunately seems to be becoming harder and harder to find in the auto repair business. They chose to be honest with me. They gave me a fair assessment, explained what was actually wrong, and didn't try to sell me repairs I didn't need. For that, I will not forget them. They earned something far more valuable than a repair bill. They earned my loyalty and my trust. When I find a business that treats people fairly, I'm going to tell people about it.

Wilkes the previous owner retired and he really knew how to pass on the business to qualified personal. Years ago I went to Honda and received a 2000.00 quote for things that weren't broken. I stopped at Wilkes and the problem was fixed in a timely manner at a cost of 85.00. I highly recommend this company and note their honesty and high quality of workmanship as reasons I will continue getting my car fixed at this shop.
