Prior to starting my master bathroom renovation I met with several contractors but was most impressed by Kristin at Cranmers. After talking to Kristin we met a few days later to see what she had as far as layout, pricing, products, etc and she pulled out pages of hand drawings and 3D printouts of what the shower, sinks, toilet, colors, and her ideas of lighting were. I would have never thought of the things she did and her vision for the bathroom was unbelievable. She has the talent to see her customers desired style and design a master space tailored to them. The pricing was a sliding scale and they stayed on our budget. Some things we chose to go more on and less on others and she offered her opinion and never pushed for more.
After meeting Kristin we met the contractor, Tom. A personable and focused individual with an eye on detail. He was great. He worked closely with Kristin and made every detail a possibility. I had a lot and he never said no or made it feel as though it was too much or too unreasonable. He had great ideas that complemented Kristin's design. As with any demolition there are issues that come up. He would text me and let me know the status and what they were going to do about it. They always made things right. With demo and construction something is bound to happen and they always made it right and true with the finished product. He stayed on schedule which was great too. Tom has great insight and experience from years in the construction business.
Tom's crew and sub's: can't say enough about them. They are friendly, respectful, punctual, and man are they hard-working. They cleaned and moped up at the end of each day, contained their tools and equipment to small areas, and respected being in someone else's home. I felt comfortable and at ease with them in my house without me there or if my girlfriend was there by herself. It was a pleasure getting to know them, they are quite friendly. I was very impressed by the sub's, not only did they do great work but they thought about what they were doing and just didn't slab down tile or drop in the counter. They too said if you did this or that it would make it look better in the end. And doing it this or that didn't mean the price went up either. Everyone was great.
So great that once we finished the masterbath, I updated the rest of the house with Cranmers. The kitchen being the best part. Kristin had ideas that were simply awesome. Two tone kitchen with a butcher block island. I love my kitchen. When I moved into the house, this is the kitchen I wanted and Kristin, Tom and crew delivered. From the outset, I was just going to do the masterbath and kitchen. But because the work they did was great and they made it easy living in construction we tackled much more. They updated and redesigned an office, two bathrooms and the laundry/mudroom and now they are truly functional spaces they not only look beautiful but make a better use of the space. In the end, I got a high quality house renovation from a company that has high standards and stand behind their work and craftsmanship with a high level of professionalism. Many thanks to Cranmers. We love our new home. read more
