But I was taken back quite a bit on how Abe started to treat us right in the middle of the project. From been jolly and friendly he become rude and cranky. Most time he responded that he just having a bad day. I understand people do have bad days but when you are in the service industry you have to be upbeat all the time. I had to deal with numerous rude and demanding customers myself, but no matter how belligerent they were ,how inconvenient and timely their request was, I had to remain happy, polite and be engaged with them. What I can't understand is if you were having so much of a bad days that you had to be rude and cranky with us, how is it you immediately went to another my friend's house afterwards and your attitude immediately changed to your jolly and friendly self. This gives me reason to believe that for some ungodly reason to developed a resentment to us. I am so befuddled that I have to ask why. If you feel that we are being too picky in bringing every little flaw to your attention. Well you are right. When a person spends their life savings, nearly $37000.00, on a home improvement, they expect nothing less than perfection. Numerous times in your sales pitch you stressed the fact that you will make your crew redo tasks over and over until it is done right and I held you to it. We put our full trust in you. We gave you our pass codes and allowed you and the crew to come and go at will. We trusted you so much that without hesitation we paid you in full the first week in 2 payments, which is highly frowned upon when listening to the experts on dealing with contractors. You gave us your word that you would pay us $1000.00 for every customer we got for you whether they contracted you or not. Well to date we got you 3 or 4 customers but only 2 hired you for the job. But we never seen a check for $2000.00. In the sales pitch Abe bragged that Kitchen and Bath Creation by PHD don't have handymen that do everything. They have a demolition crew. A carpenter, an electrician and floor guys. Well it turned out that Mike and Eugene did everything. Ok, they did have an electrician. Still, I asked him several times if an electrician has a license and Abe refused to give me any proof. Abe promised to have our bathroom renovated before our anniversary and that never happened. Abe promised us a full course, white glove dinner in our new kitchen, catered by D'Angelos (the local Italian Market), and that never happened. We never asked for any of these things. Abe brought it to our attention. Also, between us and the customers we got for him, Abe made a lot of money in a 5 month period. All we want is that he would honor his word as a man and make sure he stands behind your work and the products he installed and are hoping he stay true. Unfortunately, most of his sale pitch turns out be not true. At this point I just hope that this company can finally finish our kitchen so we can move on with our live and forget about this nightmare.

Looking forward to them remodeling my bathroom!!

Usually, it's the other way around. To go deeper: my fiancée and I were in a VERY difficult position, having been taken advantage of (to put it nicely) by an unscrupulous general contractor. We made it known that we had budgetary limitations and a specific timeframe required for completion of the project- and The Kitchen Wizards were truly there for us when it felt like nobody else was. Our house was built in 1850. Other contractors hemmed and hawed about working on a home of that age and were full of excuses. Milosz and Lukasz, they made it happen! It turns out, The Kitchen Wizards can do a lot more than just kitchens! Our project involved work on a bathroom, a finished attic, a new laundry room, new flooring, plumbing & electrical, paint, carpentry, and placing an all-new kitchen inside the old kitchen's footprint. Whether you simply want a good price on kitchen cabinets and a new countertop, or you need work on a larger project - I highly recommend Milosz, Lukasz and the team at Kitchen Wizards. They're a family-run business that does things the right way. Receipts for all materials were provided, work was performed on-time (actually faster), and the quality is top notch. I wish we'd worked with the Kitchen Wizards from the beginning. It's so difficult to find a good, let alone *great* home improvement contractor. Believe me when I say: "just give Kitchen Wizards a call and they can handle it all." Everything came together beautifully. We cannot wait to build a life together in our newly renovated home. Thank you to Milosz, Lukasz and the rest of the team that made our dream come true!

However, the work Aromas did on the floors of our home is so atrocious that others should be made aware. We had a pipe break in our home last year and it caused significant damage to the first floor and the basement of our new construction home. On the first floor, one half of the wood floor needed to be replaced (ironically, the poor leveling from the builder allowed for only half of the floor to be impacted). Because we were new home owners, brand new to the area, and expecting our twins in less than two months, we went with the recommendation of a local expert and hired Aromas to do the floor. We continue to pay the price for this poor decision, as the quality continues to deteriorate. The repairs took over a month, and despite a lot of back and forth about mismatched coloring, wood marks, etc., the floors were "completed" with numerous splits and defects. Enough so that the company's owner came out to see the work. While they attempted to fill some of the larger cracks, it was done very sloppily and fixed nothing. What's done is done, but it's shocking to see how one side of the floor differs from the other. Please see the included photos for proof. The difference in quality is obvious and it's unfortunate. In retrospect, I wish they took longer to provide a higher quality product. But more than anything, I wish we never hired them. The floors split more and more every day, and are now becoming hazardous to our small children who are now crawling and running around with bare feet. Be warned.

The communication between workers, project managers, and office staff is nonexistent. We were constantly on the phone trying to figure out what was going on with our project and when workers would be returning. It reached the point where we had to threaten to have someone else finish the job Aroma'z started. Small finishing touches took multiple attempts to complete correctly. I don't know if the job would have ever been finished had we not been on top of them calling constantly to get workers to come out and finish up. Overall, the work was done very well, specifically the tile floors, backsplash, and countertops. You will not be upset with the finished product if you can tolerate the process, but we will not be using them for any future projects due to the lack of communication.
