This bike shop is absolutely stellar. My wife and I have frequented another bike shop for years but…read morethey didn't carry any bike models for our particular use case within our narrow price point. I was calling around to other shops to see what offerings were available and I was surprised to see this shop listed so close to us because I had never seen it before (they have no sign on the shop, it is just painted on the windows). One of the owners, Chad, answered my call and talked to me about some options I might consider. He was very kind and took several minutes answering my questions. When we visited the shop, we were able to continue our conversation right where we left off. Chad spent a great amount of time talking through specifics and asking a lot of questions about our use cases. We talked about places we ride locally and places we ride when we travel. He would always ask how much detail we wanted in answers to questions and would very patiently break down every facet on every bike we asked about with no signs of hurry or being rushed. When we finally settled on a model, they didn't have any on hand but they ordered them for us on a reasonable down payment. I also want to highlight the fact that he was perfectly fine with us thinking on it and coming back, there was no pressure to purchase that day. When the bikes came in, we scheduled a time for a fitting. Sarah, the other owner, took time adjusting every bit of the bike fit to our exact specs and Chad spent a great deal of time working on our suspension while also talking us through how to make adjustments on our own. Their attention to detail was incredible and they even took time to cut handlebars and find a more suitable saddle for my wife during her fitting. On our first outing on the new bikes, I made a silly mistake and kinked my dropper post cable. When I brought it back to the shop the next day, the mechanic Andrew dropped what he was doing and fixed it while I was there. Every interaction with the staff here has been amazing. They are genuinely good humans who love bikes and care about their customers. I cannot recommend them enough.

He genuinely takes the time to know his customers and their families, and every time I walk in, I feel that personal connection and sense of community. He even let us purchase our son's surprise birthday bike and keep it hidden in the back until his birthday. He made sure it was looking great and ready to go, and that small act of kindness meant so much to our family. Andy, Jeff, and Derek are also exceptional. They are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind--especially with all of my 101 beginner-cyclist questions! I never feel talked down to or pressured to buy something I don't need. There's just something special about the down-to-earth atmosphere at Al's. They truly care about their customers and the Edmond cycling community, and that comes through in everything they do. Nothing but positive things to say about this team. We're so grateful to have Al's in our community. Thank you, Trey and team, for all you do!

When we mentioned that we had gotten some comments at the trails on what we were riding he said something to the effect of, "You're out there. You're doing it!" which was really encouraging to hear. When we took the plunge to buy "real" mountain bikes, it was at the peak of the bike shortage. My wife got their last in-stock bike and I was having a hard time finding one in my size at any retailer. A week or so later, they called me because they found a bike in my size from one of their brands and offered to order it for me. This was completely unprompted, that is just how much they care about their customers. Since then, we have taken our bikes to be serviced as needed and they have always gone above and beyond with service. They are honest, affordable, and kind. Give them a visit and you will not be disappointed!

Owner is high strung and has a "by all means I don't want to help you" attitude. If you know everything about bikes and don't need any advice or guidance you might be ok, but if you do owner will be sure to make you feel inadequate and stupid. His employee tried to clean it up as he noticed the rude behavior as well. After leaving without assistance, we drove down the road and got excellent customer service, great explanations and they fixed our parts on the spot. We will not darken the door of Celestial Cycles again.
