Dr. Ross is really wonderful to work with! I have used a wheelchair for the last 43 years due to an accident that I had when I was 15 years old. While I have always gotten around pretty good in my wheelchair, there came a time when the wear and tear on my body was becoming increasingly painful, especially in my arms and shoulders. I have tried everything possible in regards to getting rid of the extreme pain I was suffering, and also, in my efforts to maintain full independence living life in a wheelchair. Recently, my shoulder pain became overbearing and it got to the point where I could hardly raise my left arm. This shoulder problem I was having also made it extremely difficult to get into and out of my wheelchair, it was actually getting totally impossible to do so. Well, I got lucky! I was looking at Facebook one day and noticed a link for Dr. Ross. After reading the information about him and his clinic I thought what the heck...nothing that I was doing to make my shoulder better was working, why not make a visit to Dr. Ross to see if he could provide some relief. I set up a consultation where the doc went over everything with me in detail. He was completely thorough in asking me questions and getting information. During the initial exam I did not have any treatments done and set up an appointment to come back the following week. On this appointment I really felt better after being treated and we set up for me to come back twice a week for the next several weeks. Each week I was getting better and better. Much less pain every week and much better mobility in my wheelchair and much easier getting into and out of my wheelchair. It was really like a cloud lifted that had been hanging over me. Getting around each day became so much easier to the point now that I'm really feeling good. After several bi-weekly appointments we reduced the amount of time I was going to see the doctor to once per week and as I started really feeling much better to once a month. Currently I am traveling with only a small trace of the pain I was originally experiencing. It is nice to feel good once again. I actually just cancelled my scheduled monthly appointment, for two reasons. First, I'm out of town traveling and second I'm really feeling good. I'll be going back to see Dr. Ross when I return for a tune up. I think it will be helpful to continue seeing him in an effort to maintain the current mobility I have with my arms and shoulder. I highly recommend the doc. He is extremely friendly, easy to communicate with, and, knows what to do to help heal people. Wish I would have discovered Dr. Ross years ago! I have been going to Dr. Ross for well over a year. To say he is the best chiropractor I have ever been to is a vast understatement...and I have been to plenty of chiropractors. I met him when I was recommended to Dr. Ross by a dear friend who is also a patient of his. I did not call right away because I felt "what could a chiropractor do for me". I had cancer 12 & 1/2 years ago which I believe led to my current condition of Parkinson's Disease. When I met Dr. Ross I could not believe how warm and personable he was. And the fact that he created Neuro Cranial Integration (NCi), which targets Parkinson's Disease, as well as a host of other conditions is absolutely amazing. It is all very well documented on Dr. Ross' website "Welllness 22". Dr. Ross also travels domestically and internationally teaching the technique of Neuro Cranial Integration. When I first got to Dr. Ross' office, he ran me through a battery of tests for my disease. He told me two things. First, I would have more energy due to his treatment, which I do. Second, he told me my blood pressure would normalize. I've had high blood pressure for many years - 155/95. After his treatments, my blood pressure dropped to 120/78, which I could not believe. I had an accident in February 2014 that resulted in a broken bone in my right elbow and acute subdural hematomas. My orthopedic surgeon warned that even if I had surgery I might never be able to fully straighten my arm again, and my neurosurgeon was concerned that the lesions in my brain could spread and cause more damage. I started cold laser treatment and Neuro Cranial Integration therapy with Dr. Ross in early April 2014. I had a follow up MRI in mid-June 2014, and the neurosurgeon was impressed with the result. He told me the MRI was "pristine" and there was no evidence that any trauma had occurred. I had a follow up x-ray and visit with the orthopedic surgeon in early July 2014. He told me the elbow had healed better than if I had had surgery. He was impressed that I could straighten my arm almost as much as my other arm and said based on the progress I would probably have full use as if the accident had not occurred. A side benefit to the treatment with Dr. Ross is that the long-standing pain I had suffered in my left wrist is now gone. Dr. Ross started treating my chronic back pain over 6 months ago. I have protruding disks that was causing the pain. In addition, I have seen multiple physicians and even had several cortisone shots to alleviate the pain - they did not work. Dr. Ross' treatments helped me with the disks. I have not had another MRI yet but I can tell that there has been a lot of improvement. The pain is gone. Now we are working on my hip - which I damaged. Movement of my hip has also improved and continues to improve every week. Dr. Ross also provides NCi treatments which for me has improved my overall health as well. We were referred to Dr. Ross by a family friend who is also a chiropractor. I had been a patient of Dr. Ross years ago and went back to see him recently when he moved back to L. A. He not only helped me with my chronic back issues, but his treatments also helped lessen my stress levels and improved movement in my left fingers which had been stiffened by Duputren's Contracture. I am taking my teenage son to Dr. Ross for miscellaneous different conditions. These are difficult conditions that have baffled many doctors. I have been going to Dr. Ross since last August due to pain in my right arm. When I slept on my right side I would wake up in so much pain. I couldn't move use my right hand to to scratch my back.
