I've been going to Dr. Henry for all my dental needs for over 3 years. Even when I moved farther away and his office location became less than ideal, I wouldn't even consider switching dentists. He's gentle, does excellent work, cares about his patients and is fun to talk to as well. First class dentist The staff is AMAZING and always accommodating. He also explains exactly what you need without all the technical terms. The office is very clean too. *Please refer to my first review, too! So I had to go back to get my old fillings redone, and not only was my appoint punctual AGAIN, but it was overall a positive experience. Dr. Henry is a dude who's been doing this so long that it's apparent his goal is to get the job done, and get it done well. I think he's one of the few remaining dentists out there who actually wants you to have healthy teeth, and not tell you that you need all this work done that you don't need, just so he can pocket extra money. One of my two fillings was easy, since half of it fell out a long time ago. The other was more stubborn to deal with, so he had to use some force, but pfft, I'll take that with having healthy teeth any day. Before I left, though, I would have appreciated being told that I had white dental crap all over my face, ha. The ladies working in the front desk are helpful enough, not outstandingly friendly or anything, just neutral. It was totally fine. So been coming here for a while now and decided to share my opinion with fellow yelpers. Dr Henry is amazing at what he does and makes me feel comfortable when working on me. He goes nice slow and is patient with me because he knows I have anxiety when he is working on my teeth because of traumatic experiences I have had when I was younger at different dentist. Would highly recommend him to anyone and just be honest with him and Express any fears or concerns you have prior to him working on you so he keeps it into consideration. Best dentist! Just went to Dr Henry after reading all of the positive reviews on yelp and boy were they right. The office staff was very friendly and even made sure I knew where I was going when I made my first appointment for my biannual cleaning. You would not believe this, but Dr Henry did the cleaning himself. He even used a topical anesthic on my gums to make sure the cleaning was not too uncomfortable. I've never had a dentist do either of these things. With my cleaning they found a couple cavities that needed to be filled so I went back the next week. Once again, Dr Craig used a topical anesthetic so I wouldn't feel the novacaine needle. It was a painless process and he even fixed a filling that was botched from a previous dentist at no extra charge. Dr Craig is a great doctor and person. He takes the time to do everything himself and is very friendly. He even sat and chatted while we waited for the novacaine to start working. 5 stars to an awesome dentist and staff. read more

I have a pretty severe dental anxiety and the mere thought of an upcoming appointment makes me physically ill. Because of this, I have historically avoided dental appointments at all costs. Here I am, seven years later with quite a bit of work needing to be done. I chose Dr. Henry because he is very close to where I live and his reviews were glowing. He was able to see me within a couple days and was able to reattach a loose crown and give me a cleaning. He was very friendly and suggested we take the other treatments one step at a time. I made a follow-up visit for the next week to start repairing some old fillings and getting some new ones. My second visit was exactly the same. I was seen on- time and the visit didn't take much time at all. He numbed my gums before doing the Novocain shot, which made the shot a breeze. We worked on one side this visit and made appointments to complete the rest of the work needed. I've gotta say, considering my crippling anxiety, Dr. Henry has completely restored my faith in dentistry. I'm actually excited to get going with my treatment. Highly recommend Dr Henry all the way around... he's trustworthy and clearly an old-school professional in his business. Cannot say enough good things about this practice! read more

I don't like dentist and that is the first thing I told Dr. Henry it is great to know that my fellow yelpers were right! I have been going to Dr. Henry for more than a year now and had no problems. Yes, he does the cleaning himself and love the fact that I'm not waiting there for hours for my appointment (he has good time management skills). I had an appointment scheduled, and unfortunately, it was snowing - blizzard-like conditions. I went out in the storm because no one called me to move my appointment, so I assumed the dental office was opened. I arrived at the office, and it was closed. Please come up with better procedures for inclement weather - it was a risk for me to go out in the storm. I enjoy going to see Dr. Henry, but I do not appreciate how my appointment was handled. read more

Came in with a painful abscess on my gums and he pressed it forcefully 3 times further irritating it and when I asked him to stop he said "oh it's sensitive".. of course it's sensitive. His armpits also smelled really bad which is extremely unpleasant for a patient. His pants were sagging so low they were basically falling off. Pretty uncomfortable and unprofessional visit and I walked out in more pain than I walked in with. Wouldn't recommend visiting there. read more

My Mom replaced her bridge & worked w/Dr. Henry over a few weeks, & multiple impressions, wearing a temporary in the interim. Today, she was fitted w/her permanent bridge & is very happy w/the final product. In her words, "it was all worth every penny." His promise to her for a nice smile is exactly what he delivered. I am not sure why Dr. Henry has received so many high ratings on Yelp. It was because of those strong reviews that I scheduled a cleaning with him, but I ended up *very* disappointed. It was not until I visited Dr. Henry that I realized that I had always apparently had very good dentists up to this point in my life. His staff had rather flat and uninterested personalities. When one of the assistants took me in for x-rays, she lazily draped the lead x-ray blanket over my body such that it was exposing plenty of me, and I had to keep adjusting it. She did not acknowledge my squirming and just continued on. The x-rays included far fewer shots than I have usually received (I don't know anything about the science of dentistry, so maybe this is normal these days). No one ever suggested showing me or looking over the x-rays. When Dr. Henry sneaked in behind me, he probably wouldn't have introduced himself if I did not make eye contact with him. His personality itself was boring and he was uninterested in much more than getting it over with. He cleaned my teeth very quickly and painfully despite the fact (and he attested to this) that my teeth and gums are very healthy (so obviously he was doing something wrong...and I'm 24 years old and very healthy). When I finally stopped trying to tough it out and *squealed* in pain as he scraped his metal tool under my gums, he just ignored me and continued on! Once he finished working on my teeth, he simply picked himself and his suction tool up and walked away, leaving me with a mouth full of saliva and toothpaste to spit out somewhere without instruction. I lay there for a bit, assuming he was coming back, but he had just decided to go do something else. I realized it was my time to leave, so I got up, and as I was walking out, he curtly deigned me with a goodbye. I was quickly handed a bag with the usual complimentary toothbrush and paste by an assistant, who then with as little courteousness as possible instructed me that I would receive a call in 6 months reminding me to come back. And after all that, my teeth did not even feel especially clean! I am almost sure he did not use fluoride since I was told I could drink and eat immediately. Well, you can be sure I will never go back to Dr. Henry's office. I give him 2 stars instead of 1 simply because I'm sure he could have been even worse. Note, nothing went extremely wrong in this visit, so I'm not overreacting to a fluke of the day. His office's normal procedures and standards are just clearly very low compared to dentists I have had throughout my life. read more

I am one who neglects my teeth so bad, I'm not gonna lie! I, just like probably 95% of the world, HATE going to the dentist! I let things go so bad that the work I end up needing is a lot and painful. I think it also has a lot to do with all the bad experiences I have had my entire life with dentist's. So about 5-6 year's ago I began coming to Dr. Henry an I am really glad I did because now I no longer neglect my teeth (that badly lol) I have been going and sucking it up and getting all my root canals and etc. done. I owe it all to the welcoming, sweet and caring women at the front desk and the amazinggggg dental assistant/front desk girl, Christina! And of coarse Dr. Henry. He makes it as quick, efficient, and painless as he possibly can to get the job done and a job done well. He is not one of those dentist's who just want your money and do a bad job anyways. He puts his all into his work and knows what he is doing. I def. recommend him to anyone looking for a good dentist. I have been Dr Henry's patient for almost 4 years and had nothing but excellent experience. Friendly and caring staff provides appointment confirmation calls and semi-annual reminders for check-up visits. Appointments are conducted as scheduled, the most I have ever waited was 5 minutes. Accurate billing and no hidden fees. The Doctor is caring, knowledgeable, understanding, calm and makes me feel very comfortable. I used to be afraid of dentist visits but not anymore. I went to Dr. Henry last week for the first time and it was very very pleasant. He's kind and gentle and didn't make me feel horrible about the work I need done! He gave me a comprehensive exam and explained that we would put together a plan and decide what to tackle first. I got my next appointment to begin the work only two days later! He started work yesterday and it was painless and quick. They also, as promised gave me a print out of each thing i needed done and the price for me to review. How kind is that?! The prices quoted are definitely high but I assume it's inline with the industry. Besides that, great office, great dentist, kind and straight to the point and does painless work. read more

Dr Henry is the best dentist (in my opinion) in the world!! I tell him he better not ever leave this earth because I will not go to any other dentist!! I have been with him since around 1992, and when my daughter was two years old I wouldn't bring her to any one else. She is now almost 12, and has not had one cavity. I have been going to Dr. Henry since 2005 and I absolutely love his practice. The first time I went for a check-up with them it had been two years since my last (no insurance). They found quite a few problem with my teeth, so I decided to get a second opinion. The second opinion found about an additional five grand's worth of problems with my mouth, which seemed insane to me, so I went back to Dr. Henry and I've been with him ever since. I appreciated that they gave me my x-rays to get a second opinion without giving me a hard time, and they even sent me a welcome letter in the mail! I thought that was such a classy old-business gesture. One two occasions his practice overcharged me my co-pay, which sounds like a negative...but, I would never have notice had it not been for his staff sending me pay-back checks for the overcharged amount. How honest is that?? So- here is the one thing that I warn people of before sending them in: Dr. Henry usually works by himself and as a result you may wind up with a bit of your saliva on your face. It can be gross. But I think it's a very small annoyance for good, reliable service and if you can look past it you'll be quite pleased. read more
