I love Dr. Linda Huang! I was referred to another oral surgeon by my dentist for wisdom teeth…read moreremoval, but after calling in Dr. Huang's office and speaking with the very helpful gentleman over the phone, I decided on her instead and I'm so glad I did. Dr. Huang has an amazing upbeat personality, is very kind and I appreciated the fact that I was never lectured nor reprimanded. After telling me the honest status of each of my wisdom teeth she gave me the option to choose which to take out with absolutely no pressure on her end. We both agreed I should just take out all four under IV sedation. The biller came in a few minutes after to discuss my prices as Dr. Huang is not in network with my insurance. Thankfully, the out of pocket price was much lower than I expected and I appreciated their break down of the prices. The two assistants who prepped me were also very kind. The assistant with glasses inserted the needle in my arm with care and I especially adored the assistant who spoke Korean! So so lovely, gentle, and exudes calmness. I was out within seconds, woke up soon after with no pain and minimal swelling and was sent on my way with the help of my husband. I didn't even need ice packs! I took the prescribed ibrupofen to help with the little soreness and less than 24 hours later, I feel perfectly fine with absolute no swelling. I really enjoyed my visit, I wish she could be my regular doctor!

She asked for my insurance and couldn't find me on the system. I called the company and the phone system AI found me immediately. 2.) After I sent a copy of my card, they verified my insurance and said I had to bring $53 CASH for consultation fee, WTF!!!

Dental Group on Google Maps and this is part 2. I returned to their office following a cleaning prior to the Root Canal Therapy procedure I received today. (RCT) Local Anesthesia was administered, and the technique was superb compared to other dentists in NYC. For you medical geeks out here, I am not too sure in regards to what exactly was done, maybe someone can tell me. I know it's either Intraligamentary or Infiltration. Again, the whole entire procedure was vocalized thoroughly by the dentist/endodontist I was seeing. the Nurses and X-ray techs are AMAZING! PROFESSIONAL CARE FOR BOTH APPOINTMENTS! I will be returning again! The RCT and filling was nearly painless and swift, I just hope I do not suffer further complications following these treatments! :)

But in my last cleaning, I had a crack on my tooth and I was referred out to an endodontist for a root canal, which I thought was weird since I thought this practice did root canals in-house. So I did my root canal elsewhere, but then they said that I have to go back to my regular dentist in 1-2 weeks to get a permanent filling and a crown. However, when I called them again, they said that the endodontist need to forward them the report/x-ray results and the earliest appointment is in 3 weeks. I think I would rather rush this and get it down elsewhere.

My Timeline December…read more2024 My dentist's office submitted a new referral for me, and my dental insurance approved it. January 2025 I entered my information on Flushing Oral Surgery's website to schedule an appointment. Lin responded and scheduled me for the first week of March. March 2025 The day before my appointment with Dr. Li, I asked the first oral surgeon's office to email me the panoramic x-ray so I could forward it to Lin. I met with Dr. Li for a second opinion on my wisdom tooth extraction. I asked thorough questions to compare notes. At the time, I trusted Dr. Li and felt confident in his care. Dr. Li recommended the bone graft, and the dental assistant mentioned the out-of-pocket cost. He gave me pamphlets and pre-operative instructions. I called my dental insurance to expedite the pre-authorization and received approval two days later. I emailed the approval letter to Lin. Flushing Oral Surgery called to move up my surgery, which was originally scheduled for the last week of March. My mom accompanied me to my surgery today. I finally had my wisdom tooth extracted, and a huge weight was lifted. Thanks, Lin! Thanks, Dr. Paul Chin-Fan Li! Thanks, Flushing Oral Surgery!

Dr. Ngan and his assistant Julia were amazing amazing amazing. I needed an apicoectomy where I had…read moresome fluid where a teeth root was and needed the gum to be cut into and have the fluid/debris removed. Dr. Ngan not only thoroughly explained the process the consultation visit. He also gave me the option of general anesthesia to be sleeping during the procedure. I chose to be awake for the procedure. During the procedure day-- he was calm, confident and was extremely responsive to any pain I was having. Any type of oral surgery is daunting...and I had some swelling the days following. But I had no pain afterwards throughout the whole recovery period. My follow up visit today-- Dr. Ngan told me he could barely see the suture site and the gums healed up great. I feel like the way I used to be. I am so happy to have been referred to Dr. Ngan. I highly recommend him to anyone needing oral surgery. You will be so happy you found him!!!

Dr. Ngan is an oral surgeon working with Dr. Linda Huang (both at Flushing Oral & Maxillofacial…read moreSurgery). I had a terrible wisdom tooth pain that has been painful for a few months in and out. I would just suck it up and take Advil because I don't like going to the dentist. But, after a few months, and after I had an infection in my throat because of the pain, I decided to grow up and look for an oral surgeon. I was still scared of going to the dentist, so I needed to go to one that would provide either laughing gas or general anesthesia. Dr. Ngan's office provides both and because of great reviews of the place, I called and made an appointment. I was lucky that they had a spot within the week and I took it immediately. Dr. Ngan's office is located in Sky View Mall by Skyview Wellness. Parking is $3 for 3 hours, and its located in a shopping mall. Public transportation is just as easy if you don't drive. The office is clean and bright and welcoming. The front staff are all helpful and efficient. I had no problems with anything whatsoever. Dr. Ngan told me the risks of the wisdom tooth removal, and with a PAN of my teeth, explained why I was having wisdom tooth pain. He was very knowledgeable and kind. I was put under laughing gas and within minutes I was going in and out of sleep. Then he put local anesthesia, then injected anesthesia as well as a steroid to reduce inflammation. The whole process (taking 2 wisdom tooth out) took at most 15 minutes. He sent antibiotics over to the pharmacy and today is day 3 and no pain, no swelling! I cannot recommend Dr. Ngan enough! If you're scared to go to the dentist but have bad wisdom tooth pain, he's your go to guy!

Dana was very patient and I appreciate her looking out for me especially since I'm nervous Nelly. I felt no pain other than a little soreness and a tad swelling but otherwise I lived another day. My choice of pain meds when needed was, Advil Dual..you can find them on Amazon. They reacted better to my body and not make me nauseous or dizzy. Otherwise everything else is great. I would definitely recommend anybody to get their tooth extracted by this facility especially with Dr. Kalman. Thank you again!

Location: the clinic is along Woodhaven Blvd. The clinic is huge and clean. I felt like this is new facility cause its very clean and well maintained. I got street parking cause there is a lot of residential areas nearby. Checkin: You have to check in on the desk, I made apppointment by phone so it was easy to checkin. I have to wait for like an hour to be called for my procedure. Employee: Dr. Cardo is very professional, explains well the condition and treatments. He will show you to the monitor the teeth that has problem, the treatment and the after care. Again, I didn't experience any pain during procedure which is great. The employees are well known and informative about the case. They will give you health teaching before you leave. My only concern is that during your procedure the door is widely open, so people might see what they are doing to your mouth. I'm not sure if that's the protocol on the clinic but it's not bad to have a little privacy specially with dental procedures. Definitely will come back here for future treatments! Dr. Cardo helped me remove my impacted wisdom tooth.

Been searching for a good Dentist in my new neighborhood for a while. After having done much…read moreresearch and comparison, I found Dr. Maureen Lam and her office, and decided to go there. Everything works out perfectly, the office was very organized and brightly clean, and the equipment are modern and well-kept. I went there for a filling for two of my cavities. One was an older one with previous fill-in already fallen off, and was deeper and bigger than other. My previous dentist didnt do a good job, because it fell off only after 2 yrs of use. So, this time, I made sure I need to find a good doctor. I guess Dr. Lam is just that! She finished the entire procedure painlessly and meticulously(as compared to my previous dentist). I am very content with my visit, and will highly recommend Dr. Lam to all my friends. [Date of Visit: March 2018]

I am thinking about switching doctors and leaving this clinic after 15+ years of being a loyal…read morepatient. In the past 6 times where I had my teeth cleaned, the hygienist is always someone new. In the last 3 times, I had the hygienist digging into my gums trying purposely to make me bleed and then blame me for sensitive gums. The gouges they leave in the teeth afterward makes it easy for food to get stuck in even weeks after the cleaning. The first time; I had scratches in my teeth from the tools use that I can still visibly feel with my tongue (I suspect one of which has been there since 2023) . The second time, the gum lining never grew back, and I developed 4 new gum holes where I need to floss extra hard every time because it became that much wider after a teeth cleaning. And the 3rd time, I am convinced they are trying to make me bleed ON PURPOSE. In a gum testing, one blonde hygienist managed to get all 28 teeth bleeding by purposing digging at my gums from front to back with a metal tool and then record it on file, citing that I have inflammation and therefore bleeds, always. Mind you, that's never been the case at home. I also don't happen to brush my teeth with metal, so professionals should bear that in mind when you DIG my gums. I was told by the doctor that I need no less than $2800 for X-ray, deep clean, laser, arestin (11 antibiotic needles inserted between my gums) to get full care. They ask for me to pay out of pocket. I do not think I will be coming back for the 15th year.... Same doctor, different practice. It has changed a lot since my childhood. Very sad. I feel I will take my damaged mouth elsewhere to look for a cure.
