I was finally referred to Dr. Ding at Austin Oral who was able to diagnose the issue and prescribe a different antibiotic that targeted the problem. Now a few days later the pain is minimal and the problem seems to be going away. I credit Austin Oral for getting me in right away upon referral, I'm sure squeezing me between existing appointments. Dr. Ding was very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. After the initial visit he got me on the calendar the next day for a follow up and now I have a follow up this week. It never felt cold or lacking empathy, it just felt like she wanted to be clear and precise. I had a very complicated case with a root canal and an abscess. The treatment was done in a few steps, and now a month after getting my crown everything feels great. They even showed me the X-rays, and you can clearly see that the abscess in the bone is healing. That gave me a lot of confidence because you can actually see the progress. The clinic itself is spotless, and the equipment looks brand new. They also do small things to keep you comfortable, like giving you a blanket if you're cold, and there are TVs even on the ceiling so you can watch something during the procedure. The actual treatment was very thorough. They spent about 15 minutes cleaning the canal to get rid of the infection, which I haven't seen in other places. They also used something called the slow wave method, and I think that really helped my healing. I also want to say a special thank you to the front desk girls and to the dental assistant Ekaterina. They made my visit very pleasant, calm, and painless Prices may be a little higher, and it's best to check which insurance they take. But in my opinion, the quality of treatment is worth it. The assistant was kind and professional, but the dentist was not particularly friendly. My partial was sent back and forth to the lab multiple times, yet the person making the adjustments didn't see how it fit in my mouth until the end, which made the process feel ineffective. As the appointment went on, I felt increasingly rushed, and the focus seemed to shift toward replacing the partial rather than fixing it. I ultimately settled for a fit that was still unsatisfactory because I didn't feel comfortable asking for further adjustments. Cleanliness was also a concern. After disinfecting my partial, the assistant repeatedly handled it with bare hands before giving it back to me to place in my mouth, which felt unsanitary. Overall, I left feeling disappointed and uncomfortable. While the assistant was pleasant, the dentist's demeanor, the rushed experience, and the handling of my dental appliance mean I won't be returning. My rating: 2 out of 5 and that is being generous.

I couldn't believe that I would ever need 4 crowns, a two-step deep cleaning, and that I had a cavity on top of all that. I just felt like something wasn't right. Unfortunately, I had to wait several months until my insurance changed before I could see an out-of-network dentist. It was so worth the wait. I went to see Dr. Farst thinking that I had atleast a few issues going on with my teeth. the hygenist took my digital x-rays, then only recommended a regular cleaning on my teeth. She promptly cleaned my teeth, and the polished them. Dr. Farst came in and evaluated my x-rays, and said that I looked fine, and only recommended that we keep an eye on one tooth in the future for a crown, and I did not have a cavity. I was so grateful. I am going to keep going back. It is a great office with great staff. I couldn't have been more pleased. I thank them for their honesty!! DON'T EVER USE ROSE DENTAL.
