    Ready for etching!

I had such a great time drink craft beers and working on a craft with friends! The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. They have a wide variety of great beers and great crafts to choose from. The place is clean and well organized. I will definitely go back for a girls night out or even a date night.

Such a good time! Looking for something to do that is adult friendly and you can social distance. This is the place. Go alone or with friends, grab a brew (amazing selection) pick a craft (cross stitch, terrarium, glass etching, wood burning and earrings) and have a good time. Virginia (owner) will help you with your craft so don't worry if you have no talent. Staff was attentive, friendly, and helped my crazy. Outside is ample seating and space. Check this place out!

This place has the coolest concept ever- pick out a craft and a drink (or just one or the other) and enjoy! Such a great idea to hang out with a friend or for a first date where you have an actual activity instead of just going to a bar! The workers were so helpful with our crafts (it was my friend's first time glass etching and they were very patient with explaining how to do everything, while I painted a planter). Everything was put together so well with instructions and lots of materials for customizing your craft! I will definitely be back to try wood burning!

I love this concept! Craft room meets bottle shop is brilliant. I came for the wood burning class and it was perfect. 2 hours of instruction and I left with a finished project. You can also just pay for a project and DIY with their supplies. The draft bar has lots of beers and gluten-free ciders on draft and in cans/bottles. Lots of parking. Cute decor. Lots of space. Cool chicks behind the bar. It's all perfect.

This place was fun! You grab a drink and select a craft, the crafts range from $15 to $30. We both did ornaments, I chose the embroidery kit and husband did wood burning. The kits do come with instructions and some are freehand but if you are not as naturally artistic then you may struggle a bit. They will be adding more craft options as they become more established. This is a fun activity for a date night or ladies night out.

If you like art and alcohol you have found your happy place. I walked in thinking this place would probably be a quiet spot, it's not. You can bring your friends, sip, laugh and craft. I'm not super artsy so I decided to color. My friends made all types of stuff, glass decoration, paintings. The prices were reasonable. The art is different and it comes with instructions. Let's get to the part that matters, the alcohol! Lots of wine and beer to choose from. They've even got big bottles you can purchase. Cheese dip and crackers were also available. We dug in! The customer service was great. Since going I have been raving about this place as a special date night spot people can do. Durham for the win!

My sister and I had SO much fun here. We went on a Thursday evening. The chips+ hummus was delicious- it was boiled peanut hummus! For non-alcoholic drinks, we enjoyed a raspberry lemonade and peach juice. We decided to make the terrarium because it was one of the crafts that required the least time. They have many succulents and air plants to choose from, different colored moss and rocks, and LOTS of cute figurines! We gave it as a gift to our parents, and they loved it! We met Virginia, the owner, who was very friendly. And Janelle was, too, and had great ideas for crafts. We recommend this for a fun activity. If you're very hungry, they do not have a lot of food options but they said they allow food from outside! So you can pick up a pizza and go craft!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! Such a great concept of pairing arts & crafts with beer. The space is very COVID friendly, with seating outside and inside that is appropriate spaced apart. You get your pick of what crafts you want to do and the supply area is very organized and so it's easy to find what you need. The owners are supper friendly and they will help you if you have any questions.

My fiancé picked our wood burning craft!

I had my first visit to crafts & drafts today, and I must say it meets my DIY expectations. This place has a great concept, crafting and drinking -- I especially enjoy the drafts part lol. I brought my fiancé here for a date (to escape our home), and it was a hit. I let him pick the craft and I got our drinks and we stayed here until close. The staff was friendly and helpful too! We can't wait to come back.

    Wood burning!

What a great place to hang out. We had fun and the place is beautiful inside. Lots to do. Will be going back!!!

Are dogs allowed if they are small and well behaved?

Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs inside the bar at this time. When we get our back patio open (targeting Spring 2020) we will allow dogs out back, but we've found that several dogs in a space can become distracting for people that are there to… Read more

I also observed a class with younger children and the teacher was patient and also encouraging of creativity with the kids. They also host some really great outdoor markets on the weekend where you can find lots of great local art and music!

Located in the Golden Belt warehouse district, Liberty Arts has a small gallery inside their warehouse, in addition to the large co-working area. During this time, visitors have the chance to view a vastly varied set of media [incredible woodwork, bronze casting, blown glass and even handcrafted pipes!] but also chat with artists and explore the studio. The co-working space also offers community classes, and although pricey, they have the ability to offer some very unique opportunities. You will park in a cul-de-sac. So? She has projects ongoing in her yard. So? The other reviewer maybe expected Martha Stewart. Anyway, the four of us have taken Christal's class twice. She lets you use Groupon for her classes (not limited to one Groupon). She gives instructions for about 15 minutes. You cannot use the colored glass that the other reviewer was crying about because it is specially purchased by Christal for her stained-glass business. Makes sense. There are buckets upon buckets of glass pieces in various colors. Any color you could want! She supplies other interesting shapes and sizes of adornments for your project. You have the choice of many items to make - a set of 4 small squares, a large rectangular piece, 2 small rectangles, and some others. These can be shaped into bowls, soap dishes, and other curved/waved designs after the glass cures in the kiln. You need to bring your creativity and your big girl panties though. Christal allows you to use the time as YOU want. And she's brutally honest about "don't park on the grass" and "don't touch the glass for my business." If you are easily offended then her dry humor and quick wit might offend you. We thought she was hilarious, helpful, and creative. The fact that she opens her home so strangers can take time away from television, computers, etc and let their creativity flow is wonderful. Getting our two kiddos out of the house and truly focused on something they could create with their hands....it was invaluable. Both could have spent many more hours there. The time went too quickly. So, if you are open-minded about trying something new and fun, my biggest tip is to take a design with you that you want to create. Using class time to think of your creation eats through time you need for designing your glass. And if you run out of time then book another session! We loved it. I hope you will too.

It was really far away (granted we live in Knightdale) and in a residential neighborhood. You park in the cul-de-sac (I am sure the neighbors love that) and there is a barrel blocking the driveway. The outside of the house has all sorts of junk and tarps and stuff all over (again- lucky neighbors). I get being eccentric and I appreciate the artsy type, but it just seemed like there was junk all in the yard, in the studio and even in the bathroom. It did not feel clean or organized. It is clear this is her work space but I think she needs to have an organized, less clutter space for the classes. We got about 10 minutes of basic instruction and then were off on our own. We did not learn anything cool and were not allowed to play with color and different glass types or do anything other than just cut and grind glass. Our experience in Colorado was SO much better and more creative. It was a 2 hour class so some bottled water or something would have been nice to have been offered. My hubby got a Amazon deal and I have to tell you even at that price it was overpriced for what you get and the teaching you got. To avoid going all of the way back out there we opted to pay $12 to have it shipped to the house and she said over and over how she is really bad at remembering to ship things and to text her in a couple of weeks if we have not gotten it to bug her about it. I got this is not like a professional business because of the nature of it, but it really did not seen to run or feel like something worth paying for.
