Tony, Maddie & Lane = The Ultimate Bar Dream Team!…read more Where do I even begin?! Tony (Bar Manager), Maddie (Bartender), and Lane (Bar Concierge) were PHENOMENAL--hands down the best team I've experienced! The atmosphere was on point, and their hospitality made the whole night feel effortlessly elevated. Tony crafted me the most incredible extra dirty martini--perfection in a glass. Maddie followed it up with a Manhattan that was smooth, rich, and beautifully balanced. These two know their craft, and Lane kept the vibe seamless with impeccable service and charm all night long. You could feel the genuine energy and care they brought to every interaction. Now imagine if this spot took things up a notch for the residents! A dedicated DJ one week, a live band the next Karaoke or Trivia Nights with themed cocktails Latin Night with rotating special drinks from 6-8 PM, followed by regular pricing Bar snacks like Chex Mix, nuts, or even a popcorn machine Food trucks parked just for bar hours With this kind of energy and top-tier staff, the bar could become the heartbeat of the community--a place to unwind, connect, and celebrate. Huge shoutout again to Tony, Maddie, and Lane for making the night so memorable. They are absolute stars, and I can't wait to come back for more!

Tony and Maddie are absolute stars behind the bar--fun, creative, and the perfect mixology team. They'll whip up something unique just for you, whether you're looking for something bold or smooth, and they even share a few behind-the-scenes secrets about their homemade mixers that truly elevate every drink. The rooftop itself is stunning, with cozy couches, lounge seating, and plenty of TVs to catch your favorite games. There's even a game room with pool tables, making it a great hangout spot after a long week. It feels like a high-end bar you'd find in Raleigh, Durham, or Charlotte--but right here at Carraway. Drinks are priced fairly, comparable to other local bars, and the setting is far more stylish. While there's no food service, you can snack on popcorn, bring your own, or order in. The setup makes it perfect for relaxed evenings with neighbors and friends. Carraway residents--this rooftop is your own private retreat. Grab a drink, soak in the atmosphere, and enjoy the best view around. Hopefully, we'll see the bar open more nights soon--Thursday through Sunday would be amazing!

The place is quite small, with about five tables, and maybe 12 seats at the bar. We sat at the bar as we only wanted drinks and snack. Christian, the bartender, greeted us right away and brought food and drink menus. He explained the specials and took our drink orders. My companion found an interesting Greek white wine, and I asked for a boulevardier, my go-to cocktail for a new place. The wine was to her liking, and the cocktail was about the best example I've had in recent memory. Christian used Woodford Reserve bourbon and Campari rather than Aperol so it had a slightly less bitter taste and was a lovely auburn color. The food menu was very interesting, with lots of items we've never tried. We ordered caesar salad with anchovies, green beans in garlic-soup sauce, panella (a chick-pea and cream cheese dish), and seasoned French fries. It was all yummy and delivered together. The service we got really couldn't have been much better: attentive without hovering. The food and drink quality was outstanding, and we thought the prices were very reasonable for what we got. In short, thanks Christian, and we'll be back.

The sprouts were…read moreespecially memorable with their combination of preserved lemon vinaigrette, fried leeks, bacon, and a sweet/spicy aïoli--an unexpected mix of flavors that worked beautifully together. The ambiance felt fresh and inviting, which I appreciated--especially because there were no lingering bar or leftover food odors that sometimes affect restaurant spaces. The staff was welcoming and pleasant, offering friendly interaction while also giving guests the space to relax and enjoy their meal. It made for a very comfortable, quiet Friday afternoon experience. I could have lingered longer. Overall, a delicious meal and a place I'd happily return to.

The menu prices seemed a tiny bit high until I read the note that the restaurants had raised the menu prices to make gratuity "truly optional," so that's totally fine. We started off our meal with some complimentary bread, which was honestly pretty mediocre. It was a very tiny portion and the accompanying olive oil just tasted like... olive oil. It felt like the bread was store-bought or something, which isn't the end of the world, but combined with the portion size, it was just a little surprising for a nice restaurant. For my entree, I got the steak frites, and they were very good! The steak was cooked medium rare as requested. I also got some truffle aioli on the side (suggested by the food busser!) and it was pretty tasty too. My wife got the beet and kale lasagna and she really enjoyed it, although it wasn't really enough food as an entree :) Beer selection was OK but nothing crazy good. I asked for the non-alcoholic IPA and they were out of it, which was kind of a bummer. Also, when we were paying our bill, the automated system still asked us for a gratuity without any warning about the gratuity being baked into the menu prices, so that was a little surprising but not a huge deal. Overall, I liked Glasshalfull and would definitely consider coming back.

Not so positive: parking can be tough, the lot is always packed. I think it is a shared lot because the restaurant was pretty empty during my visit today. i have visited twice now (jan 2026 & may 2026) and i order a decent amount of food for the table to share. Both times, every plate has been room temperature. Thats super disappointing especially since the Korean dishes we ordered are typically served very hot (and in clay pots). It would be fine if my food was even remotely warm, but that hasnt been the case for either of my visits. Our food took a very long time to come out, which would have also been fine had the food came out hot, so i am wondering why it took so long to send out cold food? Also, for some reason there was a strong odor of some sort permeating through the beer hall. I couldnt place what it was but it was not pleasant for me. I feel like i am rarely sensitive to smells but i had to spritz a perfume to mask it. It might've just been a cleaning product or something, not sure. Something to note is that you have to pay for the banchan here. This is typically served with your meals for no additional cost as they are considered 'essential' to your meal. So a charge for them was surprising for me.
