This is my second time at crafted and the first time I have had a main course. I tried chef's menu and it was worth the hype! Each of the seven courses were had distinct flavor profiles that were dynamic and left you wanting more. Just when you thought you couldn't eat anymore or like something better the chef surprised would surprise us again! The dessert combined different textures and flavors and was incredible! This dining experience was incredible and worth it! I hope to back again soon! Shoutout and a giant thank you to the whole team at Crafted! I was scheduled to be on the patio but it was Smokey due to wildfires and it was triple digits hot. The host and the waiters and waitresses were fantastic and worked as a team to have us sit inside! We were able to enjoy each course out of the smoke!

Locally sourced farm to table options can bring dog on patio seating. Good options for fresh cherries during that time of year.

Nice ambiance, great service, but the food was hit-or-miss. The highs were high (mackerel with roasted/smashed potatoes, pickled radish and cucumbers - a real wow -- and that fried burrata/ asparagus), but the lows were low (octopus "sashimi" (which is not actually raw, just fyi), salmon, pork and dessert). While the fish was generally prepared well (medium flesh, hard sear on the skin), the accompaniments to the salmon and the octopus were super sweet/lacking in much needed acid for balance. The pork was over-cooked/dry - the pic speaks for itself (but the kitchen was slammed and we didn't feel comfortable asking for a re-fire). The dessert was a meh for me - it was billed as a lemon tart, but the sourness of the lemon was so muted. It felt like a dish that someone who doesn't like lemon might prepare under protest. I think we could give Crafted another try though, based on the strengths of the two dishes we enjoyed, and the exceptional service. It might just have been a wobbly night for the kitchen.

Found this quaint place while looking for parking in Yakima. We tried to get a walk in table the night we walked past but they were full so we made a reservation for a few nights later. We ordered for the table: Knafeh Steak Tartare Salmon Crudo Tagliatelle Pasta Duck Ribolita Chaliapin Steak Blackberry and Tamarind Sorbet Personal opinion on the dishes.... I've had knafeh in Israel so I don't know if it's a fair comparison but I would have like the knafeh at Crafted to have more of a crust. I know the original is cooked a bit longer in a cast iron pan so that you do get some more caramelization with the simple syrup. As for the steak tartare. I'm a huge fan of well done steak tartares and I had no issues with the one here. I did feel that all the toppings for the salmon crudo did overpower the salmon a bit. I'm all for garlic chips but if you had the garlic chips with the salmon, you didn't really taste the salmon anymore. The tagliatelle with duck confit was a definite winner for me and something I would order again. I probably should have looked up the word ribolita but not knowing what that word meant till later and based on the description, it was not what I was expecting. You did get a lot more of the white mean flavor than the duck flavor for me. It wasn't bad but not something I would order again. The steak chaliapin was cooked to a good temp. A bit too much caramelized onion for me so I moved a lot of it to the side. The rice seemed to be just a tad over for my preference as it was almost mushy. The blackberry sorbet was great. I do wish the tamarind sorbet had some hints of chili in it. I did ask for a side of chili but I was given paprika. The smokey-ness didn't hurt the sorbet, but I think the chili would have complemented the sweetness more. All in all, if I was in the area again, I probably would go back to see what other seasonal dishes they had at that time.

SERIOUSLY one of the best dinners I have had in a long time - elk tartare - zucca pasta - holy basil beef I typically never even consider ordering pasta in a restaurant as it doesn't usually meet our dining out "rules" - eat local, no chains - can't make it at home However, Noah (our server) recommended it...... & he was NOT wrong

This is the second time we have dined at Crafted and this place does NOT disappoint! We are from the west side and I have dined at 5 star restaurants across the country and last night was the best meal I have ever eaten. We had the Salmon, New York Steak, and finished with the Miso Corn Cake for Desert. Do not miss this gem!

Overall 3.5. A good experience, but expectations were set at "great". FOOD 3.5: We had the set menu with paired wines; if we come again we will order a la carte. Surprised us to learn that the contents of the set menu are created on-the-fly as one dines, and thus are unknown when one sits down. (We surmised that perhaps this provides the team some flexibility to serve lower-demand items as part of the set menu.) Everything was good or very good, but no "wows". Quantity was certainly sufficient: the dishes increased in size as the courses came out, and we could not finish the final pre-dessert item. WINE 3.0: Paired wines were ok, though no explanation was given about why each wine was paired with each of the one or two dishes it was served with. (This might be because the food courses are created on the fly and thus some pairings seemed odd.) If we dine here again we will request the separate wine list. COFFEE 5.0: The after-dinner espresso I had was outstanding. SERVICE 4.0: Every staff member we encountered was friendly and sincere. The contents of each course was explained by the server who brought it out, but the acoustics of the restaurant (described below under AMBIANCE) meant we often could not hear the description. As for the wines, other than label (or country of origin) and varietal there was no explanation. (We posed a question to a server about one of the wines and received a vague response; after the server departed the diner seated next to us provided a complete answer.) AMBIANCE 2.5: The high pressed-tin ceiling was attractive, but the hard surfaces all around amplified the music and dinner conversations into a loud cacophony.

on't have the vocabulary to express the quality of food and expression of flavors that you'll find at Crafted. I'm so proud of Dan and his family for what they've built out in Yakima, it was an amazing eating experience and I can't wait to be back.

Almost made the mistake of getting dessert some place else. It was amazing along with the service and drinks. It's cutely decorated for the holidays. It's pricey but worth it. They come up with flavors that explode in your mouth!

    Butternut squash with cashew cream

If you love divine food and a relaxed setting with excellent service Crafted is what you need. We had raw oysters with a perfect brine, some fresh bread with an oil full of flavor, crispy butternut squash with a delightful cashew cream, the most decadent crispy cod over a yogurt herb sauce and ended with a perfectly cooked rare stake. They had a great N.A. IPA and the most balanced bourbon drink called "The Beast". Getting to share the dishes was a delight for us but if you want your own it's as easy as just ordering for yourself. We will definitely be blessed to go back. Please think about using their gift cards for those you care about. I was gifted this experience from a dear friend and we are forever grateful. The basement is where we made reservations and I will always choose that seating, very cozy and quiet with an option to be upstairs for those who want more action, this place has it all. May you all enjoy the opportunity to experience this blessing in Yakima.

What was once our flavorful regular was now a dull and bland. Au jus was water with a hint of flavor, horseradish sauce was a warm water based cream with the deprived pungent horseradish taste we've all grown to love. The French dip sadly tasted better without all of its companions. Next up was the Wagyu cheeseburger, seemed to have a grainy texture to its bites, with a disappointing finish. The WF calamari was tweaked adding green olives and whole tentacles, which was weird considering it's never been that way. Honestly the best item we got was the Gorgonzola wagyu beef kabobs. These were cooked to perfection and gave us that reversion we craved. Although this was our first bad experience here, it will not deter us from returning. When I get the chance to revisit I will update this review in hopes for the better.

After letting the hostess know that we had arrived for our reservation, they let us know that they were busy and that we had to complete our meal within an a time frame. After being shown to our table, we were given menus, and then we begin to browse. We decided to get the goat cheese appetizer. This is really interesting because it came with green onions and cranberries. Overall, this dish tasted really good. It comes hot so it's best to eat it right away. We then also got the sausage and pepperoni pizza to share. The portion was a good size and it was delicious. You can tell it came straight out of the oven. For our main entrées, we got the hot sausage and veg penne pasta, as well as the Gorgonzola lemon tortellini. Both of the portions were a good size. I personally enjoyed the Gorgonzola lemon tortellini, which was tasty and very rich. My partner got the hot sausage and veg penne pasta and unfortunately it didn't hit. They said it just didn't mesh well together and needed a sauce or something to bring it together. After a meal, we were able to get some to go boxes and enjoy our leftovers the next day. We did not end up using all of the time that they had told us initially.
