Turns out it was...2 days after contacting Dell a representative came out, fixed my laptop and now I am back up and running. Great team, fast, insightful service and convenient.

I've been with them a long time…read more The old owner Joe Serritella was terrific. They could ship anything anywhere anytime. And, they were kind and courteous. The new owners have cut down the hours; whether that's due to COVID19 or a new policy remains to be seen. Joe stayed open until 8 pm on weeknights, which as everyone knows, is the correct framework for sending business mail & packages late, eg 5-8 pm. The new owners are closing at 6 pm, which does not work for business guys like me. But we'll see

I had driven…read moreby their storefront dozens of times over the past 4 years and I noticed there were a lot of 'local awards' for service. With that much recognition for service, I thought they would be a good resource to get my computer up and running again. A costly mistake! Angelo's unfriendly attitude when I dropped off my machine was a red flag that I ignored. After all, the entire country is still in the grips of the pandemic and retail business owners must be safety conscious. As long as someone can do their job well, it normally doesn't matter whether 'service with a smile' is offered. Turnaround time to replace my hard drive & reload my data was fast and I picked up my computer the next day. However, I feel I was waaay overcharged for the hard drive (tech hours were priced separately). It took 4 phone calls over a 4-week time period to reach the owner to ask about missing keyboard functionality and to ask for assistance to reload a driver for my external CD/DVD drive. After paying almost $700 for the new hard drive and the tech hours, I discovered it's a 'one & done' process. If I wanted help to load a missing driver for my external CD/DVD equipment, it's an additional charge. If I wanted help to have the same functionality on my keyboard that I had prior to the new hard drive installation, it would be an additional charge. Of course, he's entitled to run his business the way he sees fit. My choice for future computer needs will be to go somewhere else where the service isn't overpriced and surly.

I was so frustrated with it, my son and I share this laptop and he is starting his college forms. So I admit it was me that hit the laptop out of frustration. Laptop went dead.... I asked around to several parents if they knew a good computer person that could fix a laptop. My friend recommended him. We talked on the phone briefly. He came over and took the laptop, brought it back to me w/in 48 hours and it was fixed! It worked 300 times better than when it came brand new. He explained how some laptops come with bloat. And he was able to get rid of that and make it run smoothly. Very honest young man. Very respectful. Took his time explaining. I will 100% use again and will recommend him.

A great little repair shop…read more I needed to have a laptop screen repaired and the tech, Armando, diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and had the PC back to me in less than a week. I had brought the Laptop to him late on a Saturday afternoon, and it was back in my hands by Wednesday. The price was right, too. The shop charges $70 for their service, plus parts and warranties their work. I won't hesitate to use him again.
