Wanted an inexpensive snack so got a taco here. You can choose your own ingredients: soft or hard taco, protein, veggies, cheese and sauce. I chose the sweet potato Signature taco. It contained sweet potato fries, guacamole, black beans and cilantro. Was good. This shop seemed like the healthiest of the four or five Food Court counters. The Food Court is nice with lots of tables and chairs, and water fountains and restrooms. There are lots of cleaning people wearing masks. read more

The worst taco I have eaten. They served two chicken tacos for $8.00 In a paper basket. i couldn't even pick it up, it was so soggy. Really zero stars. I am a local and decided to try this place since I used to like the Chipotle that used to be there. I was hungry and decided to order lunch and dinner for later to go. I ordered a Burrito, Quesadilla,and two tacos. It cost $26 and it was way overpriced and a waste of money. They have a young kid around 16 or 17 at the cashier who had no idea what a quesadilla was. I asked him if the burrito had sour cream which I like and he said yes. When i got home and ate it - there was no sour cream. Luckily I asked for a cup of sour cream on the side for my quesadilla. But my Burrito was supposed to have been made with sour cream and it wasn't. I ate the 2 tacos first for lunch and I was not that full - there was not a lot of meat on the tacos and I noticed after having the Burrito later for dinner I was also not that full. They skimp on the meat and the ingredients are just so so average. Chipotle and Moe's were much better and gave you more food. Fortunately I had also ordered a quesadilla because I still would have been hungry. I spent $26 and trust me it was not a lot of food for that price. Your better off spending your money at a restaurant or a Chinese food place in the area for that amount. I never have reviewed on Yelp before but I think this place is scamming people as you can see from other negative reviews here. I think they planned it to open for a set period of time as some novelty Tex Mex place and deliberately take people's money as one time customers ( Myrtle Beach is a heavy tourist area) and then deliberately close up anyway which I wouldn't be stunned if they close up eventually. It's a racket - it's expensive - the food is just okay and it's not a lot of ingredients for the price. I hate to pile on but WOW, what a horrible experience. Walk in and there is an employee eating in the food prep area of the open kitchen so everyone can see her. Should have left then that was my sign, but I ignored it. Ordered our food and my second sign was the employee who was just eating comes up to the counter to make our food and doesn't wash her hands, she does put on gloves thankfully but some soap and water from the sink area that is also visible from the lobby would have been nice. I guess she forgot to read the DHEC sign that was above the sink that tells employees to wash hands after using the restroom or eating but we got gloves on so good job you. Now as we look around the small lobby for a place to sit it was a mine field of dirty tables that had not been wiped down in a while. When selecting the "clean" table that we still wiped down and scraped dry cheese off of we waited for our food. The same lady that was eating and made our food also is the employee that brought our food to the table. On a tray with crumbs from some last customer I guess, she set the food down and my wife said thank you to her and the reply was nothing. Maybe she did not hear my wife but not feeling that was the case since she didn't speak when dropping off our food. Once the meal was over finding a place to get rid of the garbage was I guess easy. I had two choices of trash cans, the one that was over flowing with trash and drink cups or the one that had not yet crested with the over flow of trash. The food was meh, nothing that would knock your socks off or make you over look all the flaws with the service and not being clean. One Quesadilla a order of chips and salsa two tacos and one drink cost all most $25. You can get a combo at Taco Bell that likely has the same items in it for under $10 and the taste is pretty close to the same. Will not be back, take this as a warning not to go. It is such an easy concept and they are just doing it wrong, zero stars if I could. read more

So it was a simple day my son and I wanted to try something new. We saw this place and thought it was like chipotle. Boy were we wrong! My son went in and got a burrito bowl with steak. Food not great. My husband and I ate there today and were essentially asked to leave. My husband has a non-COVID respiratory infection that causes a cough. He has had this for three weeks and is being treated and was test for COVID which was negative. After we had been there for 15-20 minutes, a staff person in the restaurant came to us and told my husband he must have a mask on if he was coughing. He asked how was he to eat with a mask on. I told her that he was tested for COVID and was negative. She responded "was he tested today." I was finished eating, but he was not. There were only 4 customers in the place and the closest to us were about 30 feet away. We told her that we would leave and would not come back there. She said she was fine with that. read more

I spoke clearly and even reminded the cashier twice to add my guacamole to the order because once wasn't enough for her to remember. Paid $2 for the guacamole and upon coming home I realized that the employee not only forgot the guacamole but gave me the completely wrong meat... beef instead of chicken. Sounds trivial but this incompetent employee had one job and ripped me off. I would give this zero if I could. Stick with chipotle . I had a soft steak taco- pre made steak, gross soft steak that tasted off. The kind you get out of a plastic bag and heat in the microwave. Chicken was meh as well. Rice was premade, basic crap. I could make much better tacos at home. My husband had a burrito bowl, salsa appeared to be jar stuff. My 5 year old was yelling when we were paying to go to the bathroom so my husband left with him. I paid and when he came back , he had his phone with a free chips and quest which I already paid for. I ask the cashier and manager if I could just add this on my order bc he was obviously in the bathroom with my son, which they just saw. They wouldn't allow it bc I would need to do a new order and spend a min of $10... they saw what happened but still wouldn't honor it. We really wanted to like this place. I had a quesadilla with "grilled" chicken but the chicken was a dark shredded mess. Hub had the pork burrito bowl but the pork didn't have any seasoning on it - zero flavor! The restaurant didn't have any salt packets. A worker searched all over for their salt supply... lol (opened only one week and the customers have already burned thru the salt packets could be an indication that their food needs more flavor). Wow.. is all I can say!! I went in and received great customer service to start. I placed my order ..the smothered burrito.. as a combo. As soon as I fixed my drink and sat down a young lady brought out my chips and queso and told me my burrito would be out soon. That was awesome!! I had a short lunch and I was able to eat my lunch and not rush. The young lady then brought out my burrito.. all smothered with queso.. it was SO GOOD!! I had so much food I had to get a box. I'm a local from the area. First time here and also the last time. I ordered a smothered burrito and asked for sour cream. I realized there was none on it and politely asked for some on it. (Mind you we were the only ones in the restaurant), I walked up to the counter and heard the employees say "she didn't order sour cream" right in front of my face and I think it was also the manager! I work in 2 restaurants and I couldn't believe what I heard, so I tried to disregard it. After I got the sour cream I went back to my table and saw a piece of black hair on top of the burrito. I once again, normally never complain or try not to say anything because I get it. My family member went back up to mention the hair being in the food and she overheard an employee say "that's not my hair". 1. If you're gonna have a restaurant open be polite and 2. don't talk about customers while they're in the building. This place won't stay open for long. Small strip mall store, not much in the place, just some tables and chairs, no atmosphere. Not a place you would want to hang out and have tacos and beer. Now to the food - my first problem was with the toppings bar. I really like to see the fresh ingredients used to make my taco. The glass was covered completely with thick paper so you couldn't see the lettuce, tomatoes, cheeses, salsas, etc. I asked the manager about it and he seemed defensive. He said if people can see it then they ask for more toppings on their food. Never encountered that at Salsaritas, they had a variety of fresh ingredients in full view. This place just opened, why would you not want your customers to be happy. Isn't the point to build your customer base, happy customers return to give you more business.
