My friend had one macaron from here, and somehow that turned into us making an entire Sunday breakfast plan at Craft Kitchen. Usually, I'm the one doing all the work--looking at menus and picking where we eat--but based on that one macaron, my friend was convinced this place had amazing food. Well... he was right. I ordered the short-rib grilled cheese, and it did not disappoint. The outside was crispy and buttery, and the inside was super tender and savory. The short rib was really flavorful, and the shoestring fries paired perfectly with the meal. It was one of those dishes where you keep saying, "Okay, one more bite," until it's gone. And yes--we definitely left with a 12-pack of various macarons. I'd have to say these are some of the best I've had. Soft, creamy, and really delicious without being overly sweet. Last week, my family was starving during a stroll down Fremont Street, and we spotted a sign for the hotel's food hall. We wandered in expecting the usual below-average food court fare. Nope. First shock: how clean the hotel was. Compared to the grit outside, this felt like stepping into a different universe. The food hall itself? Crispy clean -- like something you'd find inside a mall in Beverly Hills or Chicago. Absolutely pristine. Right at the entrance was Craft Kitchen, looking noticeably fresh, polished, and inviting. The menu was stacked with comfort food favorites and a few Hawaiian-inspired options that spoke directly to my local-islander roots. I was told the Hawaiian Garlic Chicken Bowl is the fan favorite, so that's what I ordered. My wife grabbed the avo toast, and my daughter went for the garlic fries. The first thing you notice? The presentation. This isn't comfort food -- this is artisan comfort food. Like someone took your favorite everyday dishes and gave them the Fast & Furious treatment. If that franchise were a food movie, Craft Kitchen would be the whole main cast. Just look at my pics. And the flavor matched the visuals -- everything was delicious. Portions are generous too; I was honestly sad I got full because I wanted to try more. But hey -- that just means I have something to look forward to on my next visit. Been here twice now and ate the same thing both times. The Creme Brulee French toast. So yummy. The crystallized sugar on top really bring it over the top. But not too sweet so you can finish it all. The service team is always pleasant. Beware parking is a challenge and there is usually a wait but well worth it. Will be back when I'm the area. read more

The first time I hit Craft Kitchen ( @craftkitchenlv ) was to talk with a friend from the past. I knew if the meeting went south, I heard their burritos were fire.     Meetup insured.     I was surprised to discover they had one of my favorites, monkey bread, on the weekends too.     Slot Bonus Achieved.     As projected, this person's inability to control themselves, once again screaming and storming out, left me embarrassed, and the couple next to me lent an ear and a hug. That burrito, though, was absolutely fire, and the monkey bread, the best I've ever had. I paved over a pothole my second time here, and the food and service were spectacular. I also apologized to the bartender who remembered what I endured. I love this place, and will definitely be back for the burrito and to explore the other menu options.     P.S. Before you ever commit to love, even starting out, share a few meals together, saying less, and observing behavior more. I was looking for a quick bite to eat in downtown and Craft Kitchen was really great, located in the Fremont Food Hall. I got the breakfast sandwich and it was really outstanding, thick bread and very tasty. It came with smashed potatoes that were really good. I do have to say that I liked that it was made fresh and tasty and I was surprised with the spice level on the breakfast sandwich. It's nice to have an option for something like this. Second time here and enjoyed the service and the food- where it all matters! Though they do not take reservations, you can add yourself to the waitlist or call the restaurant in advance. My wait time for a party of 4 was about 30 min which was fair. My second visit was for my friend's birthday who was her 1st there and she loved it! Our server LUCY was soo attentive and friendly!! But I was craving breakfast so I decided on something simple - their veggie, egg, and turkey sausage plate. The turkey sausage was dry and flavorless although they make it in-house. The rest of the dish was fine. Also tried some of their pastries: the pumpkin Danish was the best with a creamy, pumpkin flavor (only available weekends); the caramel apple pastry was ok; and the maple pumpkin muffin was flavorless. Didn't have much pumpkin or overall flavor so I'd give that a pass. Also, service was pretty dismissive. Had a very nice meal with my aloha coupon today. Ordered the Hawaiian garlic chicken over rice. There's a lot of Garlic and a bit of a kick in the sauce. So so yummy! Was hoping this would be better considering the reviews on google were promising but we were let down. Presentations was okay but the taste does not match what you see. Maybe avocados in Vegas is just not a good idea. The avocado toast tasted like they used supermarket guac, and tried to mask the flavor with soggy tomatoes and the sprouts to cover it but t was not enough. This was my first time eating here and I went for brunch. When my group got here, we went inside and it was incredibly noisy. Luckily the restaurant has a nice patio area that had overhead heaters going for a cold, rainy day which made it comfortable. During our short vacation trip in Down Town Las Vegas, we stopped by here 3 times. This was the first place we at and and made it the last. This dish is one of the hidden gems on Fremont. Hving eaten at multiple places around the area, this Hawaiian Garlic Chicken Bowl is by far THE BEST DISH on Fremont Street HANDS DOWN. I know this may seem hyperbole, but I do not state this lightly! The dark chicken is tender and flavorful with just the right amount of garlic and honey over a bed of fresh white rice. It was a touch overcooked for me, but note that as a chicken connoisseur who has cooked chicken every day for decades, I'm extremely critical about chicken. I'm sure for 99% of the population it's cooked to perfection. If they cooked it to 160F internal and let it sit, it would truly be perfect. Before some rando influencer stumbles upon this and their tiktok/IG pay about this dish goes viral, get this dish before this place becomes the next Oyster Bar. THIS PLACE IS DELISH!! It was located in the Fremont Casino Hotel food court and this place deserves it's own cafe chain! The dirty chai tea latte with oatmilk is the best dirty chai I've EVER had. The avocado toast was A LOT more than expected as they gave me two toasts with poached egg on top (not expecting that)--it would've tasted better if they didn't toast the bread because it makes the bread hard (so maybe ask them to not toast the bread and then you'll have it perfectly). The ume bread pudding!!! I still am mesmerized by this bread putting! I don't like my sweets too sweet and asked not to have the coconut sauce on top and it absolutely did not need it. I Really Wanted to like this place. Pros: The space. It's pretty. Modern, comfortable, good lighting. The coffee was super tasty. I didn't try the desserts in the display case but they looked beautiful. Cons: The food. Bland and uninspiring.
