At the tasting, we'd thought the bacon wrapped dates were a little over cooked. Kathy was insistent on us providing feedback in a way that almost no other vendors (in any industry) do. This made it easy for us to ask them to cook this appetizer a little differently, and it was a huge hit at the wedding! They were not the cheapest vendor, but their price is competitive and worth a little extra for the quality, and they helped design our menu to work for our budget. Their crew on wedding day was absolutely lights out!! They of course did an awesome job with all the normal food stuff, but they were also extremely helpful in serving the dessert and late night pizza that we'd ordered from a different vendor. They also did a ton that I'd have thought the venue was responsible for, but they helped regardless. On top of all that, everything was perfectly organized on the day of. There were no issues that came up because they had thought of everything in advance, making for a less stressful day. I'm really hoping this is the only time I get married, so tough to say I'd use them again, but I'd highly recommend them and if doing a different event would certainly hire them.

Emily, the Director of Sales and Senior Event Specialist, helped us build a thoughtful and delicious menu. The attention to detail, flexibility, and communication throughout planning made a huge difference. Quinn, the office manager, made the payment process smooth and simple. On event day, everything was flawless. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and guests couldn't stop talking about how good it was. The entire team was professional, kind, and efficient from setup to cleanup. I've worked with many caterers, and this was by far the best experience. Highly recommend.

We originally planned to stay for happy hour, but ended up spending nearly three hours there because we were enjoying ourselves so much. Social is one of those rare places that completely lives up to the hype. From the moment you walk downstairs, the atmosphere transports you to another era. The speakeasy vibe is authentic without feeling gimmicky, and every detail has clearly been thoughtfully designed. It's a super cool speakeasy with a warm, inviting interior that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. We shared the charcuterie board, which was excellent, and enjoyed both the champagne and the bourbon. Everything was high quality and thoughtfully prepared. Ryan, our bartender, really made the experience special. He treated us exceptionally well, made us feel genuinely welcome, and provided outstanding service throughout the evening. What started as a plan to enjoy happy hour turned into one of the most enjoyable evenings we've had in a long time. It's the perfect place for a date night or simply a relaxing evening with exceptional food, outstanding cocktails, and an atmosphere that's second to none. We'll definitely be back now that we live here in Fort Collins. If you're looking for an unforgettable experience in Fort Collins, Social is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended!

Everyone loved the starter (cheese and charcuterie), the main (chicken breasts) and sides (a watermelon, heirloom tomato salad and a couscous salad). The desert (a shortbread-like cake with rosemary whipped cream and fresh berries) was a hit. Shannon worked closely with me (from afar) and my parents (locally) to ensure that everything was to their taste, imagination and liking. Shannon also ensured that everything was as local (Colorado grown- and based) as possible. She even suggested wines from a vineyard in Laporte which, sadly, we never got to. On the day of the event, Shannon and her staff were there, everything ran exceedingly smoothly, and she checked in with me regularly to see when we could move on to the next course. Shannon worked closely with local vendors (rental supplies, liquor shops, etc) to offer a web of services happy to work with us (for discounts!). We couldn't have been happier with The Roasted Beet. If you're in need of catering in the Northern Colorado/Fort Collins area, I suggest you look no further than The Roasted Beet.

It was good, but I didn't get much flavor until I got to the middle and bit the sausage inside. I ended up taking it home and heating it up with some cheese and with the sausage flavor released into the pork it was a lot more savory. My friend ordered the brie panini which was a really unique and tasty treat. I wish it came with some of the jam to dip into, but on it's own the flavor was really good and not overpowering. (perhaps an add-on option for a side of jam?)

They can be found and followed on facebook, twitter, and instagram, or at their web site. Prices on their web site are cheaper for the pulled pork sandwich I just ate, but were accurate according to their posted menu on facebook. One of their distinguishing features is the Big Green Egg which is used to cook all their proteins. For $8.00, I had the Pulled Pork Melt: Slow smoked pork shoulder in a house BBQ sauce,w/ fresh garden salsa, & pepper jack cheese, Panini style. (They subbed out the pepper jack for cheddar because I am a weenie when it comes to heat.) I really like that they support local businesses, and list them on their web site. She arrived with a smile on her face, the food, and the setup. Being 9 women cousins meant a lot of talking and laughing. Jennifer jumped right in. She served us downstairs with the appetizers while we played a game and then called us up to the dining room when the dinner was ready to eat. We ordered our meal as a buffet. She had the table set and we just helped ourselves. The salmon was like none other.... out of the 9 of us, I am the only one who does not eat salmon. I ate the whole salmon fillet. I do not know what she did but every time I order salmon I will be comparing it to Jennifers'. The dinner was spectacular but the dessert was one I am still thinking about. Crepes with mascarpone cheese, poached pear with caramel drizzle. It was truly a wonderful experience and a dinner we will never forget. This was my first experience with a personal chef. Jennifer helped me through the whole process, from making up the menu, payment, no worry set up, and leaving the kitchen spotless. I can't imagine another chef doing anything more than Jennifer.
