We originally planned to stay for happy hour, but ended up spending nearly three hours there because we were enjoying ourselves so much. Social is one of those rare places that completely lives up to the hype. From the moment you walk downstairs, the atmosphere transports you to another era. The speakeasy vibe is authentic without feeling gimmicky, and every detail has clearly been thoughtfully designed. It's a super cool speakeasy with a warm, inviting interior that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. We shared the charcuterie board, which was excellent, and enjoyed both the champagne and the bourbon. Everything was high quality and thoughtfully prepared. Ryan, our bartender, really made the experience special. He treated us exceptionally well, made us feel genuinely welcome, and provided outstanding service throughout the evening. What started as a plan to enjoy happy hour turned into one of the most enjoyable evenings we've had in a long time. It's the perfect place for a date night or simply a relaxing evening with exceptional food, outstanding cocktails, and an atmosphere that's second to none. We'll definitely be back now that we live here in Fort Collins. If you're looking for an unforgettable experience in Fort Collins, Social is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended!

I don't love cocktails and their food menu is sparse, but if you want to impress a date or treat yourself to tasteful drinking, it's a nice place. Sometimes if you sit at the bar, there are annoying strangers who ask you to explain your thoughts on America's involvement in Iran. My server made sure to back me and my friend up when he started to get defensive. Thank you brother, you are an ally to the lesbian community.

It was good, but I didn't get much flavor until I got to the middle and bit the sausage inside. I ended up taking it home and heating it up with some cheese and with the sausage flavor released into the pork it was a lot more savory. My friend ordered the brie panini which was a really unique and tasty treat. I wish it came with some of the jam to dip into, but on it's own the flavor was really good and not overpowering. (perhaps an add-on option for a side of jam?)

They can be found and followed on facebook, twitter, and instagram, or at their web site. Prices on their web site are cheaper for the pulled pork sandwich I just ate, but were accurate according to their posted menu on facebook. One of their distinguishing features is the Big Green Egg which is used to cook all their proteins. For $8.00, I had the Pulled Pork Melt: Slow smoked pork shoulder in a house BBQ sauce,w/ fresh garden salsa, & pepper jack cheese, Panini style. (They subbed out the pepper jack for cheddar because I am a weenie when it comes to heat.) I really like that they support local businesses, and list them on their web site. By supporting The Goodness you are also supporting: Fiddletown Bakery, Fort Collins The Shire CSA, Fort Collins Colorado Mills, Lakewood Quatrix Aquaponics, Laporte Fagerberg Produce, Eaton LOCO Foods, Fort Collins Gilberto's Gourmet Goodness, Fort Collins Noosa Yoghurt, Bellvue MouCo Cheese Company, Fort Collins Savory Spice Shop, Fort Collins Pretty cool, huh?
