Got 2 boxes of chocolate and the ice cream! Impeccable service and great delicious quality with very unique flavors. The bow on the boxes with color of your choice was a nice touch. Ice cream was great much not special imo, but I did like the small serving size! Only thing is I went right when it opened and there were several flavors that weren't available yet. Got lured in by the free sample sign outside! We were handed the last two pieces in the bowl (raspberry something and the other was milk chocolate) and man, they were so good and fresh! We ended up buying two milk chocolate (mouse and car). We asked about the soft serve and was told it's only available in the summer. Craft Chocolates are very delicious. My favorite are the dark chocolates. Bente Petersen is very generous and she gifted my kids milk chocolate Easter bunnies for Easter along with milk chocolate almonds decorated as Easter eggs. They did not last long. My kids loved them! The owner, Bente, is the sweetest and as helpful as it can get. She's so knowledgeable about the craft of making real, high quality chocolate and offers great advice. Appreciate the transparency about the ingredients and the fact that they have many vegan options, including vegan white chocolate which is impossible to find elsewhere! The interior of the store is really cute, clean and love the large displays showing her craftswomanship. A tru hidden gem in the East Bay that's worth the trip to Alameda. Not sure how someone can hand you chocolates without using a paper or anything else to be sanitary. I was handed chocolates at the same time as taking my $$$. I did not see the person wash their hands in between. They do not wear gloves either. Super disgusting! Had small boxes of 6-8 chocolates made for our wedding a few months ago and we were absolutely blown away by how good they were. We had two or three boxes left after the wedding & we had to hide them from family that was still in town and a few friends who stopped by. (Sorry if that sounded a little selfish but they obviously got first crack at taking a box of their own!!) We asked for a few different flavors based on some things we liked. We had one with an amaretto, bailey's irish cream inspired filling, a port wine one, milk chocolate, and they were all just excellent. The bailey's one was just bursting with flavor and so creamy. The boxes were lovely as well! They fit with my color scheme perfectly and delivered I think the perfect amount of the chocolates. We had some shaped like a paw, in honor of my puppy (it was so sweet). There was also a heart shape that had 'love' written in cursive, and one that was printed with tiny flowers. They were all so detailed and really beautiful. We heard from so many about how delicious they all were!! I still think about them and I'm sad they're all gone :( read more
