Instead of an open modern space, the store is cut into small rooms and it's very hard to get an idea of all the clothes available. Im sure I've missed out on some decent pieces ever since they changed to this way. As for the quality and costs, I think the quality has held over time but the costs certainly have gone up. A short sleeved flowy cotton top $150? Simple cotton shift is $180? None of these designs have intricate stitching or designs.... they're all simple basics. Yes they are better than Banana Republic but are they 3 times better? No. As for service, I find it hit and miss. Sometimes you'll have a really nice and helpful staff and then the other times, a dismissive bored staff who is constantly on their phone. I think I've stopped consistently coming to Club Monaco once they moved to their new spot and changed their staff. Sometimes they have good deals and you can find a decent item but with all the recent changes, good luck finding it!

I always find that some of their stores elsewhere are a bit of a snob (and I have an issue about that, thus I do not go back there unless I really have to) but this store is welcoming. So that is a MAJOR plus. And the selections are spread out really nicely and I like the look the new store has compared to the other ones I saw. Today, I needed to return one item and exchange another for a smaller size. Everything went smoothly until checkout. The cashier, a woman about 5'3" tall, with dark brown skin, black boy cut hair, and appearing to be in her late 50s (maybe) was for some reason angry from the start. I greeted her politely with, "Hi, how's it going?" She ignored me completely. When I explained I wanted to return an item and pulled it out, she processed it with an angry look. As I started to mention the second item ("And this one as well..."), she cut me off mid-sentence and yelled, "WAIT! LET ME DO THIS FIRST!" I was shocked and caught off guard. She then said in an angry tone and look, "We're only giving store credit." I replied calmly, "Okay, that's fine." But the issues continued: She tried swiping the gift card to load the funds, but it wouldn't work. She got angry and said, "Why isn't this working?!" and smacked the card against the reader repeatedly before continuing. To top it off, she made me stand there for a full 10 minutes while she slowly attached pins, magnets, and hangers to the returned items while I was staring at her irritated expression the whole time before finally processing my exchange. As someone with 3 years of retail experience, I know good customer service, and this was the opposite. I don't know what their training is like, but it's clearly not preparing staff to handle basic transactions with respect. This rude, inefficient experience has ended my loyalty to this store I'll shop elsewhere from now on.

(im fully willing to accept that im projecting the anger felt about my fat dome.) anyhow, they had those fargo hats with the flaps in a few different styles, some simple bowl toques that are in style these days (overpriced anywhere you go in my opinion) and a few caps here and there. all pretty cool and though not all styles agreed with me (we are talking taste wise here not swelled noggin), it was nice to see the variety. for about 60 or so dollars you could pick up a leather belt with an impressive buckle. the beauty of this belt is that once youve picked the right leather, first of all you can mix and match, because the belts and buckles are sold separately, and secondly, you can always come back for an alternate buckle (or buy as many buckles as you like at the same time i suppose). there were some really cool baseball tee shirts with those 3/4 arms that were very very thin and weathered in some way where patches of it looked thicker in material and some parts were much thinner. great shirt, but itd be a shirt id wear once in a while when i knew i was doing something nowhere near related to a game of baseball. the long sleeve collared shirts also stood out to me, with varied styles, nice patterns and fabrics. the jackets seemed not to stand out in the same way. all in all, i enjoyed this shop, will come here again, probably to buy a belt first and i look forward to their continued success.

Finally reached someone via Instagram to be told to wait 10 business days for a refund AND place another order only to wait again when i had already done that and should have had my product.No solution provided for the current situation, and no compensation for wasting my time waiting on product i should have received in impeccable condition or for having to wait a full day for a resolution that was essentially not a resolution. Upon checking the app i saw they had same day delivery and asked why this was not presented as an option and was told if i wanted to pay extra for an uber drop off i could and i would get a coupon for a future purchase. So essentially my order was not delivered in the condition in which one would expect and then Dynamite as a corporation refused to reship the item or to comp $10 for what i would have to spend on same day delivery. Absolutely ridiculous to not deliver on a current order but to expect a customer to continue supporting their business with a "coupon" for a future regular priced order. I spent $90 bucks for pants and asking for $10 to expedite an order is asking to much? Do better. For the increase we've seen over the years in price there should be employees empowered to correct wrong situations for customer retention and business reputation. People, shop with online companies that happily correct wrongs. Rather than companies like this that don't understand you should receive what u ordered in acceptable condition and if you dont then its not the customers problem. Also maybe shipping $90 pants in a crappy plastic bag is not the best move going forward?

This is an extremely well curated store. In this day and age if you're doing anything but shopping…read moreonline, there's a purpose. Maybe it's because you were close to it, or maybe because they had an item you couldn't wait two days for. But, when the store is out of the way, and difficult to get to, there needs to be more of a draw to pay the mark ups. And there are mark ups. About 20% more expensive than other places, and more than that if comparing online. But, the curation of the collection is what makes this place stand out. If you're looking for interesting gifts, or novelty items, there are a lot to be found here for all occasions, and you won't have to wade through a bunch of things that don't suit your needs. Everything is pretty great, and you will see things you didn't even know you wanted because you couldn't even imagine they were things to want. It's a lovely location, and worth the visit just to see what's in stock, if nothing else.
