This location is huge. I like to check out the place for cheap finds that are good quality. I was looking for mortar and pestle. The marble one is very cheap, only $10. The wooden one was more expensive, but it will take up too much space so I decided to go with the marble one. Another time I was there to get a pair of shoes on emergency because mine had a hole and getting soaked during a rainy day. I was able to get a pair of Vans sneakers that's leather and waterproof for only $40. I was very pleased. The checkout counters were pretty fast, lots of cashiers. I was able to pay fast. read more

I started shopping at Winners a long time ago. I find this location has the best selection. Personal beauty items, household items, bedsheets, clothes, shoes, snacks - they carry almost everything. It can feel like a maze but usually is pretty organized. Sometimes they have huge lineups but mostly the line moves fast. Service is good. Also, good value for money. read more

Always busy here but the cashier line moves pretty fast. I feel like this location always has some good gems if you go with a fine-toothed comb. There really isn't any physically distancing possible in this store since it is so busy all the time. Just do your best to sanitize your hands and keep apart when possible. Clothes, jewelry, cosmetics, handbags, luggage, toys, household items and gourmet foods. Because of the large volume of shoppers, lots of turnover and products. Well, I had an appointment across the street so I thought I would browse in this Winners. That ended up being a BIG mistake. I was looking for a new down coat & I thought I'd found a bargain with a Simon Chang down coat for $99.00. I bought it. But not two weeks after wearing it, the zipper broke! I went back to the store to see if I could return it, exchange it or if they could even get it repaired for me. But no, they wouldn't help me out at all. So off I went to try & get the darned zipper repaired. I went to two alterationists who refused to try replacing the zipper because it was down. I had to go buy another zipper & had a family friend who is a seamstress repair it for me. She did it no problem, & only charged me $15.00 for it. But geez! The coat was only two weeks old. Looking at the zipper, it wasn't a strong one as the teeth of the zipper were very shallow. Usually coats have zippers with major teeth on them to ensure they stay together. At any rate, I won't be buying a cheap coat at this Winners again! Everything looked picked over & in bad shape. I should've trusted my instincts when I walked into the place & just walked out empty handed. Lesson learned! read more

Such a cool store - a combination of Ross, TJ Maxx and Loehman's (RIP) in the U.S. - discounted department store items at very reasonable prices. Unlike the U.S. counterparts, Winners had a few high-end designer pieces (like Gucci and Salvatore Ferragamo). As with any time spent on discount shopping, you have to be prepared to spend a lot of time going through the large inventory. read more

There is always something fabulous you can find here. They give you 30 days to think about your purchases when you hold the tblabla membership card. They also invite you to exclusive launches. I think this is the location that offers the most products. I've never left without acquiring at least an scarf or some socks. This time I was looking for a couple of pole shorts, I also wanted some blouses with cool patterns. Not only did I find everything my budget permitted me, also some sports-fancy looking shoes made their way to my feet (the flats I was wearing were killing me). There was a queue of 6 women at the fitting rooms (10 min waiting). A nice touch is that there is a comfy coach in where our companions can wait ( a couple more of seats wouldn't hurt tho). This is the Winners inside the College Park Shops. In a way this is probably the flagship store for Winners in Toronto (well, this one and the one on Bloor). The size of this store is larger than the ones in the suburbs, and there's definitely more variety. My dad has been looking at activewear clothing at several Winners shops, since my family will be going back to HK at the end of July. This Winners has been the only one in the GTA so far that has a wide selection that fits my dad (he's a lil' chubby), and so far my dad has only purchased activewear clothing from here. This store is quite understaffed, mind you, especially if you're using the fitting room and need access. The fitting room area wasn't consistently staffed despite the fact it was quite busy when i went. There's not a lot of Winners locations left in the GTA, and honestly they do still have good deals if you're looking for brand name clothing. Take it for what it is. read more

This is the first time I went to Winners. I was amazed to see the collection they have at such affordable prices. Branded clothes, great accessories, amazing cosmetics- everything was an easy buy. I am completely addicted to Winners. This one is my location of choice, due to its extreme proximity to two important things in my life: my apartment, and the 3rd closest Starbucks to my apartment. I go to Winners very frequently and only buy things occasionally. But, if you're in the mood, it's the place to browse for deals. They've been renovating this Winners for the last couple months, and they got rid of that dreaded choose-your-line game that I always lose, stuck behind the woman needing a price check and the guy whose on his one shopping trip of the year and buying 10 pairs of pants. One line means less waiting to get home and show my significant other the things I bought him that he'll have me take back the next day so I can do more shopping! read more

I tend to find a lot of dresses and handbags that I like here, but nothing much else. The store feels cramped and frenetic. Because of it's location it is always abuzz with lots and lots of voracious shoppers who seem to think the store was made for them. I've got some issues with the jewelery counter, too. I wanted to buy a pair of cuff links for my man. The woman at the counter was busy telling her manager how it wasn't her fault that someone complained about her. I call BS on this one because she was awful! She was so busy complaining to her manager that he completely ignored me even though I was the only one at the counter for some time. Her manager also should not have been discussing this with her during her shift and in front of customers. When I finally got her attention, she showed me the cuff links and then began complaining to ME about how she can only do so much and this woman was so mean to her and it wasn't her fault. I ignored all of her pleas for mercy and tried to keep the conversation moving along more professional lines pertaining to my purchase. Then it began to get busy and she walked off to assist another customer. I waited ten minutes for her to come back so I could pay for the cuff links. Even as I was trying to pay her, she was still whining. Guess what? I don't care. It's none of my business and as a customer I don't need to listen to stuff like that. Just shut up and do your job, then people won't have anything to complain about! Awful shopping experience. read more

There are things I love about Winners-finding bargains is one of my greatest pleasures. In fact, I think that thrill would still remain with me if I won Lotto Max. Or, should I say WHEN I win Lotto Max. Apparently all you need to do is dream hard enough-according to Oprah's guests anyway. This is a reasonably large Winners. Unfortunately this doesn't necessariiy equate with a good one. Cosmetics are reasonable, as are shoes. I like their homewares section. I have my eye on a lamp for my bedroom and there are always little bits and pieces to tempt there. There are racks and racks of clothes as far as the eye can see. It's amazing how much stock they have and how little of it is wearable. You really do need to be motivated to search through it all to find something decent. I'm just too lazy so walk through only to give up after 5 minutes. There are sometimes some good finds like headphones, sweets and trinkets on the stands near the cash registers. This is good considering the lines are often absolutely horrendous-the distraction is needed. I feel my patience ebb away as the line slowly inches forward. When you actually get to the top of the line, the checkout experience is mixed. I've had some nice assistants but the guy today was terrible. No eye contact, definitely no smile and he was basically just downright rude. I don't expect my transactions to involve haiku or sonnets, but monosyllabic barking (bag? here!) definitely does not create my ideal retail experience. In summary, I like it for the homewares and sometimes the cosmetics. It's tolerable on a weekday evening when the lines are shorter. Sometimes they're civil too...or even nice. I'd definitely choose the one on Front St over this though. I leave less grumpy! read more

Seeing as this location is seconds away from my office, I come here when I have some time to kill on my lunch break, or when I don't feel like going home directly after work, or when there's a fire alarm and they evacuate my office floor. "Oh, the photocopier blew up? Yes, but did you see the shoes I got from Winners?" I have found some good deals on clothes (you do need to check them in case they are seconds... look for lose threads, missing buttons, etc). I got a purse once that had a missing buckle and got a slight additional 10% discount on the purse. I find their specialty food section (marinades, sauces, baking kits, etc) to be expensive. It does make me sad when I find a cute pair of shoes, only to discover a $500 price tag (but discounted from $800!) When that happens, I just sigh, tell myself they'd probably give me blisters anyways, and set them back on the rack. Most stuff here I find is geared towards average costs, though of course you will come across some designer stuff (they do have more of these items in a 'runway' area to the front of the store). Lots of change rooms which is great for the arm-full of clothes you want to try on. Sign up for their loyalty card to extend their return period from 10 to 30 days. read more

One of the worst Winners I've ever stepped foot into. Aisles are packed with items and the crowds are unbearable. Very limited selection of men's clothing (yes, guys do shop as well). Very small housewares section. This store is geared more towards the female clientele as their inventory shows it. read more

This location is a great lunch time shopping area. If I worked in this area, I'd be here every other day. It's got more merchandise than the Bloor Street counterpart (I was just there yesterday). Rows upon rows of clothes (mostly women) and men's are off to the right. They have suits too. Housewares and such at the back, and Purses to the left. I don't know how to describe this other than LOTS OF CLOTHES and also lacking in size Smalls, but tons of Mediums and Larges. read more

I'm not a fan of a store that is not organized.....some call me anal, but I like order and structure.....could be why I'm great at my job.....but this store is the worst Winners I have ever seen. It's huge and the staff is so dense that it's never clean and tidy. I had to return some boots because the heal cap popped off after wearing them 3 times and the staff didn't even recognize the brand! Hello, how do you not know what you sell...that's your job. The part that KILLS me is that they have a designer section.....and that;s great, but I'm NOT spending $500 at WINNERS for one item of clothes...I don't care if the original price was $800...YOU'RE F***ING WINNERS!!! For the size of the store, they have a very minimal house hold section - something I think that store could benefit from. My go-to Winners because of the great selection of merchandise available especially the activewear and footwear. The location is conveniently located at College Park, right at the corner of College and Yonge, plus located on the Yonge subway line at College Station. The store is quite large, but with the numerous racks and shelves, space is often limited between racks which makes the particular section appear miniscule and crowded. The signage of the various departments is neatly and clearly displayed throughout the store making the shopping experience a breeze between departments. Winners, literally has everything that a department store has, but just at a fraction of the regular price It can definitely get busy at peak times i.e. 11am - 2:00pm and 4:00pm - 8:00pm, but just remember to bring your patience and you'll be able to meander through the rows and rows of discounted merchandise and clearance items. If you treat shopping at Winners like a scavenger hunt, then you'll manage quite alright. The merchandise gets replenished quite often since this is a very popular location. Therefore, if you see something you like or have second thoughts about the item(s), just purchase the item(s) because it may not be there when you return. Their exchange and return policy is standard and no hassle, plus if you're a TJX member, you have 30 days should you change your mind. Winners is often extremely busy, but the checkout line moves fairly quickly as there's always a lot of cashiers who are friendly, fast and efficient. The number calling system helps streamlined the checkout experience and they definitely have a very effective system. Should you not find anything at this Winners location, there are many other locations within less than a 5 km radius that you can check out. This location is also close to Marshalls, so you can shop there as well since they basically carry the same merchandise. There are times I would visit many stores within the same day if I'm on a mission for a particular item. Sometimes I find it very exhilarating when I go on a Winners/Marshalls shopping spree because I treat it like a treasure hunt. Happy shopping! read more

Eh. I have a very strong love/hate relationship with Winners. This location makes me lean towards the "hate" end. For any Americans, Winners is the equivalent of TJ Maxx -- they carry a lot of brand names for cheaper prices, sometimes stuff from seasons past, sometimes current, sometimes annoying to dig through racks of clothing to find something nice. This location has the potential to be so awesome -- they carry "The Runway at Winners" which means there are tons of designer labels for less, from Missoni to Stella McCartney and Miu Miu and Canadian labels like Pink Tartan. But it's in such a central location that it is literally picked apart on an hourly basis. A lot of people seem to stop by this Winners on their way to and from work, to take a look at what's there and then buy it all. So for those of us who do not want to go into a store everyday, it's kind of hard to find anything decent. Basically this Winners is hit or miss. It is a HUGE location, so they have that going for them, but it's usually packed with people as well, and it's a huge mess most of the time. Staff are obviously annoyed with people rummaging through all the racks and are less-than-nice if you ask them for help -- "NO! THERE'S NOTHING IN THE BACK!" I will applaud them on their shoe section because it's about 10 aisles, but the typical "Winners shoppers" are so serious about their professional shopping that if you see the same pair of shoes at the same time, there could be a physical fight to make them yours. And sometimes I don't want to fight for last season's leftovers. Stick to suburban Winners -- you're more likely to find something unique that every commuter in Toronto hasn't picked at already. read more

3 stars for " not bad, why not " Yes you can find good products there and I have found a few nice tshirts for a lot less price ( Diesel, ben sherman etc ) and sometimes you can find a brand that are totally imported, so that's great. THE PROBLEM IS, they have this " lesser price" slogan on them that they did not care about the merchandise, I saw a few things ( D&G, Belstaff etc ) for $500 - 600 and more there, that are already streched out , missing buttons etc I know it's a lot cheaper than the regular price, but to price things for $600 where the size S is now an L because of bad hangers are just plainly shit. read more

This is one of my favourite Winners locations. For mens wear, they have much more business attire than you will find in most locations which is a deal sealer for me. Most other locations Im lucky to find a shirt or pair of pants that I like and actually fit, whereas this store I almost always walk out with something in hand. The lineup for the fitting rooms can get a bit long at times, but a small price to pay for actually finding good looking clothes at decent prices. The lineup to pay can also get pretty ridiculous, but they usually have a good amount of people working so it can move pretty quickly at times. read more

I was staying at the Courtyard Marriott nearby and forgot some items. I have low expectations for Winners in General, but this one beats all the locations we have in Montreal. Other than longer hours than Quebec stores, they had the largest selection of Men's Items I've seen in a long time. The'res even a separate changing room for men as well. The building itself is very nice and the ambiance inside follows the Art Deco theme. Great location and it was not too busy when I went in. read more

So this Winners may not be the best of the stores in Toronto, but I always manage to find something when I'm here. The men's clothing section is well stocked with options for all shapes and sizes, though I find the shoe section here a little lacking. There are always a ton of staff working. I've never had to hunt someone down to ask a question, to try something on, or had to wait in an excessively long line at the cash. The staff aren't super amazing but they're much better than the customer service you get at many retail stores these days. You should go! (har har) read more

I was fairly shocked when I found out that the discount clothing chain Winners moved into the complex at Yonge and College. This is where the Carlu (http://www.yelp.ca/biz/the-carlu-toronto) is for crying out loud. Shouldn't it be just a wee bit classier? Apparently not. But as Winners stores go, this one is slightly more dolled up than most. Definitely cleaner than some others in the franchise it seems like it's trying to put on its best Hudson's Bay Company disguise (it doesn't work that well, really). That said, the selection is pretty good here. As a big footed guy, I've found shoes that fit. I've never been unimpressed with the selection of shirts and pants, and the other miscellany that they sell is decent enough. Definitely the winner of most of the Winners. read more

I have trouble with winners because I have some sort of magical power that means absolutely nothing ever exists in my size. And I'm bad with crowds of people. Happily handbags and linens aren't sized, and this winners carries lots of both. Lots of great matt and nat stuff - I recently got a designer bag that has actually changed my life. And in the past I've found wonderfully soft, high thread count sheets for cheap. The place is a bit of a zoo, so put your fighting elbow pads on before you visit. When orienting our new manager last week one of the staff listed "teaching her how to navigate the winners line at lunch" as a priority. It's true. The line is always super long and the store chaotic, but it's more shiny and open than most winners locations, so it's not as painful as it could be. read more

This is my favourite Winners location in the GTA! Great deals for many branded items. Located in the heart of downtown and accessible by College Station, this store has the greatest selection of higher branded clothing. There are always new items added every week, sometimes even twice a week! I love the layout and cleanliness of the store. It is easy to navigate through the racks as everything is organized nicely and you usually find a few sizes of a certain item. This location tends to get very busy during lunch and after work hours but the checkout moves quickly as you usually won't have to wait more than 5 minutes in line. Like most Winnners, this is a hit and miss location, but where it is situated is ideal (Metro, subway and food court in the basement). The lines move fast and they don't give you problems when you need to return something. If you need to use the washroom, be ready to expect a filthy bathroom. read more

Well you definitely have to spend a good amount of time here to make it worth while. The truth is that most of the stuff is pretty bland and uninteresting but when you find something nice it will be by far cheaper than other options in the city. Salespeople are pretty hard to find in store and sometimes it can seem a little dirty but generally if you are willing to have a good rummage you can find some gems. read more

I was at winners at 650 Matheson Blvd W, Mississauga. I was purchasing several sale items and had gone to the cash to pay. cashier decided to take all of items and started checking their tags and stickers. And this time again cashier did not tell why she was doing this, or ask me if it was okay. She told me that it was too low of a price???? I asked her if the discount was done by the store as I do know that it can be verified on the original tags all of which were still attached by security tag. NO WAY I WOULD have been able to switch tags?? or if I did put on another 'SALE' PRICE it would not match the original tag which is still attached by security tag!! ANYWAY it gets better this cashier gave this one specific dress to head coordinator. Dress Finders Keepers (not a huge brand) it has original price as $69 and reduced to $9. She takes the item and goes away to check? and in mean time the cashier starts to scan and check all the other tags??? she looks at the maxmara jacket from march2021 style 014436 type 2 $299 reduced to $72. the cashier telling me that she does not see this sale price for this jacket in the system..... AGAIN I asked her who put that sale price on the item. This whole experience was extremely humiliating and in violation of consumer protection act. read more
