I truly, truly feel for businesses in today's tough economy. Poor old Winners, most of the clothing looks so tired and unappealing. Their Home section is the only spot I visit for the occasional culinary surprises such as imported seasonings. I've noticed the prices have gone up at this Winner's. The prices I've noticed going up is in the natural skincare section which is where I go most often. The same 60 ml bottle of serum went from 7.99 to 9.99. At College Park it was 12.99 when I went before 2022. I wonder if the downtown Winner's at College Park is even more expensive than this location. The clothing racks are also usually neat compared to the downtown locations. One thing, I wish this location would do is make some of their sections larger. But I'm biased, I admit. I My main focus for shopping here is the cheaper prices for natural skincare & bags. LOL. I don't shop for clothing or shoes at Winner's as I don't have the patience to go through the racks most of the time. Winners is always a fun treasure hunt and this one was no exception. It isn't one of the biggest ones I've seen but it still had the same layout that most Winner's adhere to. There was a somewhat messy section with cosmetics, perfumes, and assorted beauty products haphazardly displayed on shelving which is always fun to browse through if not a little hectic. There was a pretty decent sized sports good section with a lot of different colours of yoga and pilates mats. I did notice they had some licensed NHL apparel but I could only find jerseys for the Vegas Golden Knights oddly enough. Argh! I am consistently lured back into this place again and again by the great selection, but the experience always grinds to a dead halt when I get to the checkout. The cashiers here are reliably surly and strangely exotic; at least you can idle away a few minutes by speculating whether or not the cashier matched her bright green eyeshadow to her shirt. The health and beauty selection is fun to shop - provided you go BEFORE several customers decide that "tester" means they should pour mysterious goop over other products on the shelf. A hilarious assortment of random products include "Biggest Loser" protein powder and cheap yoga starter kits. Right above the Sheppard subway stop and a great way to kill time if you're waiting for an appointment (or a movie nearby)! read more

I honestly can't say that I've ever really been impressed by a Winners. Something must be lost in translation for me. This location is conveniently located in the Sheppard Centre so I popped down here during lunch with a coworker the other day. I came specifically looking for scarfs... not the winter kind, the accessory kind. Every single one that I liked was over $50! Are you kidding me? I went to this Winner's location during my lunch time as it is steps from my work. I don't frequent Winner's often and when the store first opened way back when, I was expecting brand, BRAND names. Now, it is just a place where you can get decent clothes at a fairly decent price. This Winner's location is my go to for Christmas work gift exchanges, mini-gifts that I know the other person is going to re-gift, and now, fitness stuff. I bought my yoga mat there for a decent $19 which I still use now. Today, I bought a pair of Nike gym shoes for a whopping $24.95 which in my mind is a GREAT deal. Some shoes in those fitness stores can cost upwards of $200...and it's a NIKE! Because I was also cold in the office, I decided to snap up a cute purple Calvin Klein cardigan for $19.00 and considering the original price was $59.99, I couldn't resist. Last purchase was some Spanx tights and socks. I spent approx $50 for 4 items which was a great deal in my mind I have to admit that there are some cute finds at Winners (you have to look hard though), and this location showcases the "special items" when you walk in; Fashion's that are "in" now. I would suggest coming here for last minute clothing items (torn stockings, last minute cardigans, emergency under garments...) as well as fitness gear and gifts! Yeah:) read more

Went to 3 different Winners today, so I guess I have some credibility in comparing them. This one, is at the top of the Sheppard Grande centre - free two hour parking! The aisles here are so narrow, I felt a little claustrophobic with all the people. One person in the aisle, you'll have to go around. They've got a big selection of yoga stuff, including a foam roller ($16.99) or blocks ($5.99). We also found some nice gloves ($9.99) from American Eagle in the men's section that have thumb holes in it! I didn't find it in the women's section, as if they don't use gloves. I was also looking for a new woolen jacket, and couldn't find anything of good quality. Out of the 3 I went to today, this was one of the ones with less inventory and environment. read more

I like this location as there is access from the subway directly. This locations is a hit or miss. I make a stop when I make a visit to the gym. They do have unique items. The home section and footwear section are smaller than most locations. Go to HOMESENSE instead. The lines always move quickly and I love the shelves with different fun things to buy. I was going to give this Winners two stars, because every experience I've had there has involved long line-ups and slow cashiers, but they ended up with three because of three wonderful things: #1) I once found Betsey Johnson shoes for $15. FIFTEEN DOLLARS. For $150 shoes. That deserves one star alone. #2) Great housewares items that hadn't been picked apart -- I grabbed a couple drink mixes (hot chocolate...mmm) and printed bowls on clearance. Yahoo! #3) The best shoe selection I'd seen at any Winners yet. I had to go to a conference next door and was just browsing on my lunch break...suddenly I was carrying around three pairs of shoes and some slippers and had to exert control over myself before I bought the whole section. So I may have had the worst cashier ever (I get it, your life sucks, I worked 6 years of retail, get over it), but besides that, this place was great. A hidden gem. This Winners is really good. The selection of ladies wear, shoes and housewares is surprisingly good with it being in an office building. Oh...childrens shoes are really limited, but I think they cater to what the crowds want! They validate a one hour parking with a purchase of $25 or more. read more

This Winners has the best selection of name brand clothing I have seen. TJX Corp should relabel this location as a Marshalls. Also, the cashier stated that they validate parking over 1 hour and that parking is free for the first hour, but I have not validated that claim. However, the parking ramp does not have any published free 1 hour parking. read more

Today was my first time here. Te cashier was nice and the store people were helpful. Change room person was nice too! I bought stuff for a good price! This neighborhood has too many restaurants and not enough fashion shops, so I'm grateful for Winners. read more

This branch suffers from small size, which severely limits selection. Men's clothing, as Karl mentioned, is very poor in scope. I did find a couple of household items here but that selection is also much smaller than a suburban Winners. read more

This Winners is tight. Great selection of beauty products and very few of them have been smeared on the shelf or opened. The clothes are really diverse and there was tons to choose from for the most part. However, unfortunately, bigger ladies may not have much to choose from; I noticed that the larger sizes were pretty scant, e.g. there would be 50 Medium shirts and only 5 X-Large. I was able to find lots of great stuff but if you are a bigger person, you may wish to skip it. Lots of stuff, clean store facilities, short line-ups... I can't ask for anything more in a Winners! read more

Terrible customer service. I have used Winners for more than 5 years in many areas in Canada and have never experienced this before. When you buy stuff there you have no problem for sure but when you get some refunds you might need to be ready for some drama there. I bought winter boots there this week and went there for refund 3 days later which means today. They were not comfortable like my old boots. I had an original receipt and the several ad tags on the boots except for a price tag. They currently have same price tags of other sizes of them so it wasnt a problem at all and i got refund 2 years ago for summer shoes. The first lady who dealt with me at the cashier was nice but she seemed new there so she asked other cashier who was younger and probably slightly more experienced there. The drama started with HER. She told me that she could not give me a refund because of scratches on the bottom of boots so i told her that those scratches were already there even before i had bought them. They compared with other size of the same boots and realized I was right. However, this cashier told me that those boots have now reduced and and final sale price so she could not give me the same price of refund. My original receipt shows that i had paid full price already but they could not give me the same amount of money back because their store had a different sale price? I got pissed off when she said that and got me nuts. If i have had enough time there i could have said something more but unfortunately i had to go to work so i left as soon as i got my money back. I love Winners and always liked who work there but have never seen such ridiculously rude clerk in my life ever. Those who want refund there please be advised that you might deal with some terrible customer service there. read more

Winners is my go to place for brand items at a lower price. They sell everything ranging from clothing, shoes, home decor, home and beauty supplies, and even electronic accessories. I love the selection of brand name clothing to choose from, the only thing is that you need to have patience to look through the racks unless something catches your eye on the featured racks. This location in convenient as it's located at Sheppard station or 2 minutes by car. There is underground parking and it's free for 2 hours if you get your parking stub validated by the cashier upon leaving. The only issue that I have about this store is that even though there is a wide variety of clothing, the store is smaller compared to most winners and is usually messy making it hard to navigate through the racks. read more

I've been shopping at winners for years, if you have enough time in hand, you can find some cute stuff for a bargain. However I had such bad experience tonight with the cashier and the manager of this location. My husband bought me a Sweater and I didn't like it ,when I took it back to this location,after keeping me for 10 min , they told me it comes up in our system as a boot and they can't take it back, I was shocked with their statement, I explained that it was purchased yesterday and couldn't be, but the manager was obnoxious and she said will not take it back!!! I spend thousands in winners and when I see customer service like this, I hate to go back and give my business to a company that is not organized enough to put the items on right category and the customer should suffer as a result. read more
