Compared to most other big mall Gap kids stores, this one is a bit on the smaller size but manages to jam in as much inventory as possible. You really feel it being cramped compared to other Gap kids. This makes for the most frustrating experience because you have 20 moms there with carriers, prams, and running kids all fighting for the same tiny aisle spaces. I really do like the Gap Kids quality and esthetics... my Sherway review should show that. I like it also because the constant sales make it a great way to find good clothes at affordable prices. Yorkdale is no different in terms of inventory and quality compared to Sherway Gardens. It has lots of choices from infant to size 14/16 kids and they're not scratchy or obnoxiously poorly styled. The cashier service is possibly the worst in all Gap stores. Each time I've shopped here, I've waited over 15 minutes on a good day. They're slow, inefficient, and poorly managed. When you know you have a busy window (right after lunch on Saturdays), why do you only have half the tills open with 6 associates on the floor. I'd take an associate off the floor and move the 10++ people in the cashier line out. Their cashier process is a painful bottleneck and it creates even less space to walk about in the store as it spills into the retail space. Just horrible management. I try not to shop here but sometimes you find a great deal and you just eye roll with fellow moms in the line up. I've chatted a few other moms and we all have the same painful thoughts about this store.

My sister's wedding is approaching, and I visited Marla's Fashions in early June 2023 to find a dress. I found a dress in a size 6 that was slightly too tight. I ordered sizes 8 and 10 in the dress. After 2 weeks, the 8 and 10 came and fit worse than the 6. We later learn the size 6-floor model was stretched out and the sales associates did not inform of us this at our initial point of purchase. Still liking the dress and with time to spare before the wedding, I ordered sizes 12 and 14 in July. The size 12 fit decently with alterations needed (tightening straps and making the zipper fall half a centimeter lower). I paid for alterations and they were supposed to be ready by early August. The company told us we should use their in-house seamstress as they are more familiar with the dresses. We trusted them. When I received the altered dress (in mid-August), it fit worse than before due to poor alterations. The seamstress lowered the zipper so much so that it looked like there was a gaping hole in the dress, the elasticity was removed and the straps were not tightened. The manager was unhelpful, blaming us for not managing time well. The manager said that most people need 2nd, 3rd, or 4th alterations... but if your seamstress was good, this would not have to be the case. As we did not pay for the dress to look this way and because the seamstress removed so much material that the dress was unwearable and unfixable, we asked for a refund. We even offered to buy a different dress of theirs in the store that day or pay to ship in a new size 12 to have it altered elsewhere (contingent upon a refund). Both options were denied. The manager stated that it is their policy that refunds cannot be issued (note: their website says absolutely nothing about refunds being issued if the seamstress botches the job). The manager remained rude and uncooperative. The manager took a break mid-conversation and later refused to continue the discussion claiming she has other, more important things to do. The bookkeeper was equally rude, emphasizing the (non-existent) store policy. Feeling mistreated, we left the store empty-handed, without a refund, and found a dress at Esti Boutique on Avenue Road. Esti's customer service is phenomenal, the dress selection is gorgeous and the atmosphere is stunning as well. I could not speak of them more highly. Marla's, on the other hand? Well after this experience, I won't support Marla's Fashions due to their poor treatment of customers. And if you want to pay for a butchered dress with a premium price tag, go to Marla's.

I spent over an hour getting "custom-fit", only for the clothing that I bought (2 pants and 3 shirts) to be completely off - not even remotely my size. The pants are too tight around the waist, too short, pockets are flared and tight in the seat. What is the point of measuring and trying on 4 different samples if the product you are getting is not even close to your fit? The same with the shirts - length is too short (presumably to save fabric), sleeve too short, chest too tight. A big red flag is that they "under no circumstance" will refund you, as per their webpage. The products are shipped directly from a Chinese workshop to you, with Indochino only taking your measurements and no more. They are acting as a middle-man basically sending your order to a Chinese workshop, and collecting your money. You will get a tracking number from the Chinese workshop. They claim to make adjustments, but this is beyond adjustments - read the other reviews. My clothing does not fit as the sizing is wrong. The "custom measurements" is a lie and a scam. The tailoring is very poor - clothing is single stitch, button holes are too small, shirt collars are stiff. The items came with no protective wrapping, placed in a plastic envelope wrinkled. Singularly, the worst clothing buying experience and huge waste of money . Pants are priced at $250-350 each, and shirts at $160-$200 each. What you get is complete garbage in tailoring and fit. Their guarantee is making alterations is a lie - please read other reviews. Service is poor, value is very poor. You will not get what you see in the store. If there ever was a scam, this has to be it.

Wish I could give this a 0 star! Absolutely at all costs do…read morenot get a custom suit fitted at this Indochino. Suits are over priced, single stitched and made in china. We were a party of 8 for a wedding, all 8 suits had measurement problems after being fitted in store and shipped to us from china, I might add because they are shipped from China they arrive in a box and already come wrinkled and creased, so you now have to go get them dry-cleaned/pressed - for a suit that you have not ever warn! To explain the situation in more detail, one persons leg lengths arrived 4 inches in difference between each pant length, my sleeves were 5 inches short and leg lengths were passed my toes. Every one of us had issues with sleeve lengths and leg lengths and a few had tightness in the chest and shoulders for a CUSTOM FITTED SUIT THAT WAS MEASURED IN STORE!!! We were not offered any compensation, and were threatened that we only had 14 days since delivery to get back to the store in time for our "free" alterations. We all had a seriously hard time getting booked as they claimed they were busy which you would expect a customer of a party of 8 for a wedding should be priority when the store has a policy of 14 days. We were measured by two young men who seemed to have almost have zero experience of what they were doing and when I asked where this was being made they laughed at me and said "Obviously China.. Bro" When I arrived for my alterations I met probably their best employee who was an older gentleman who I wish we had from the get go as he seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. Overall: AT ALL COSTS DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY & PAY THIS SORT OF MONEY FOR A SUIT MADE BY INDOCHINO... "Made in China"
