We didn't require any assistance, but it was clear that they would be happy to help. I also really liked the music they had playing. They also offer several other types of classes. I'm really looking forward to going back to brush up on my pottery throwing! Unfortunately, I…read morewas told by a 16-year-old employee that I could not start because you have to arrive before 7:00 PM. I understand businesses have policies, but it was frustrating that being just three minutes past the cutoff meant I wasn't allowed to participate at all. It didn't feel like a reasonable difference between arriving at 7:00 and 7:03, especially since the studio wasn't about to close and hardly anyone was there. I was really looking forward to the experience, so it was disappointing to be turned away over such a small timing difference. A little flexibility or clearer communication about the cutoff time would make the experience much more customer-friendly. I will NOT be coming back

I hadn't been to an As You Wish since I was a teenager, and honestly not much has changed other than they now have SO many pottery pieces to choose from. I also loved all of the inspo pieces around the studio because if you're anything like me, painting freehand can feel a little intimidating. I decided to keep mine neutral and simple so it's something I can actually use in my home. I think it turned out cute, but we'll see after it's fired! My daughter is 4 and this felt like the perfect age for it because she could mostly do it herself, which made it genuinely enjoyable for both of us. The only thing I wish they offered was a choice between a glossy or matte glaze. I honestly think my piece looked so pretty before the shiny glaze was added. Overall though, such a sweet and fun little mom-and-daughter outing.
