Although I find kids clothing expensive in general given the size of the clothing and how quickly it gets outgrown (not to mention dirty) Hatley's pricing is quite reasonable, especially if it's on sale - then if you can think far enough in advanced (or don't mind having last seasons prints) there are some fantastic bargains to be had. I was suddenly hospitalized with baby #2 and with the threat of induction any day needed to get my second carseat installed ASAP. My husband and I have crazy hectic entrepreneurial lives and the ladies at Love Me Do literally offered to drive to St-Joes and install our seat in the parking lot if needed. I've both worked retail and owned my own business for years and the care that goes into what they do is beyond amazing customer service. The woman who sucks is the brunette Caucasian girl. I was the only person in the store and she didn't even help me at all. The other girl, of darker complexion, was way better once she came off break, but I was already too aggravated to want to buy anything. This has happened THREE TIMES NOW. I sort of want to ask them when the white girl works so I can just avoid her altogether. Besides being overpriced, I've seen a number of pieces of clothing from nightwear to baby wear that has stains on it. The first thing I chocked up as a one time item stain, but now it's been enough that I don't understand what's going on (although looks like an oil stain). I hadn't ever been in before and was the only customer in the store. What drew me in was the mid-season sale advertised in the window. Alexandra has a variety of carriers, both soft structured and slings/wraps available for you to try out, so you get the one that is best for you. The store also features a lot of great baby products that are free of plastics, really nice baby clothes, baby bathing suits, etc. It's a lot of fun to look around and a great place to check out if you're looking for a baby gift. Side story: I went to a cafe a few stores down and the woman there told me that she recently served a woman who came here, on the train from Michigan to go to Ava's for a specific carrier.
