Not my fave. I got a gift from here that wasn't what I would have picked, so I returned it and got a store credit. That portion of the experience was good (although the item was $118, and you can buy the same product from Buy Buy Baby for $90...so definitely overpriced). However, the actual experience of trying to spend the $118 since then has been so aggravating. They have one really nice saleslady, and one who absolutely makes every experience awful. The woman who sucks is the brunette Caucasian girl. I was the only person in the store and she didn't even help me at all. The other girl, of darker complexion, was way better once she came off break, but I was already too aggravated to want to buy anything. This has happened THREE TIMES NOW. I sort of want to ask them when the white girl works so I can just avoid her altogether. Besides being overpriced, I've seen a number of pieces of clothing from nightwear to baby wear that has stains on it. The first thing I chocked up as a one time item stain, but now it's been enough that I don't understand what's going on (although looks like an oil stain). Anyway, customer service is awful and everything is overpriced. If I didn't HAVE MONEY THERE TO SPEND, I wouldn't go back. read more

Shocked by the 5* reviews here!! I was in Yorkville for lunch and popped in before heading back to work. 2 staff at the front desk barely looked up when I walked in. I hadn't ever been in before and was the only customer in the store. What drew me in was the mid-season sale advertised in the window. I tried on a dress that looked gorgeous on the hanger, but just wasn't quite right. The staff paid no attention to me in the dressing room. No questions about fit or if they could help find something different. I left without purchasing anything. Selection looked quite extensive and they carry some nice lines, but ZERO customer service. read more

I went into this store looking for maternity leggings and i ended up leaving with a few adorable maternity outfits, i was trying to get through pregnancy without buying any maternity clothes but nothing dresses up the bump and is as flattering and comfy as maternity clothes that are specially designed. The prices here aren't too bad at all average price for an item was $79 compared to other pregnancy stores at an average of $150. They have really noce stuff that are also stylish. Both the owner and the lady that was helping whos name i forgot were very sweet and help u out without pressuring you to buy everything. read more

I visited this store with my sister and the sales staff was exceptional! They were so helpful, patient and calm and had great ideas for outfits. I can't say enough about how happy I was about the multiple shopping experiences I had here. I first went in to buy a dress for an upcoming wedding I had in 2015. I wanted to buy something I could dress down and wear to work for the remainder of my pregnancy. I was almost 5 months pregnant but hadn't "popped" so my body image was not great. I was helped by Sarah (I believe and the owner). I wore the dress through the rest of my pregnancy. The staff was very supportive and kind about how I felt about my body. The second time I came back I needed more work clothes and life clothes. I bought two pieces from another store but they were not wearing very well. Again, I left with a few more items and a coat insert that allowed me to wear my regular winter coat through my whole pregnancy. I felt so much better about my body in clothes that actually made me look pregnant. Great pieces! These clothes owed me nothing after 41 weeks + post pregnancy. Best money I spent was on some sleep wear that was also breastfeeding friendly as I lived in my pajamas for weeks after I gave birth. Six/eight weeks after I gave birth I came back for some breast feeding clothing. Again super happy with my experience. I have been and looked in a few maternity stores and this is my go to. The clothing is good quality (although it owes me nothing considering how much I wore it), the staff was helpful and the prices we good/reasonable for what you get. Given the location I was super intimidated that it would be expensive. ONLY NEGATIVE- not easily stroller accessible if you tote your sidekick along post pregnancy. But... Sarah was super helpful with helping me get the stroller into the store. read more

I've recently reached the point in my pregnancy where "normal" clothes don't fit anymore, and I've been dreading making the leap to maternity. I guess I have an image in my mind of maternity clothes as frumpy and shapeless. Luckily, neither of these adjectives apply to anything you'll find at Carry Maternity. This boutique has an excellent selection of all kinds of clothing. I bought a winter coat (which I LOVE and which can be worn with the pregnancy panel removed after pregnancy), a blazer, maternity leggings, and a bunch of dresses, and didn't even venture into the huge selection of denim, tops, and underwear. I'll save those for my next visit! For any pregnant ladies out there who haven't migrated into maternity clothing world yet, this is the place to get started. Prices were moderate. I got a cute dress for $59 on sale from $129, but the coat was a splurge at $330. Everything else ranged in between, and I'm reasonably happy with the value. The saleslady (maybe the owner) was extremely helpful and attentive and honestly told me if things looked good or bad or would stretch to accommodate a growing belly or not as I tried things on. It's gotten to the point where my regular clothing is starting to be tight. I work in a professional setting and I've been struggling to find maternity clothing that will blend will in a corporate environment. All the big maternity retailers I've visited don't have much to offer - and when they do I can't justify spending what they are asking for as the quality isn't there. In fact - I just haven't had any luck with maternity clothing until I walked into Carry Maternity today. It was such a treat to browse great selection of work, casual and everything in between apparel. And to be honest, the price points are very reasonable considering a lot of the clothing is designed in house using quality material. I would much rather spend a bit more and take home a piece of clothing I know is going to make me feel great throughout the next 6 months. The staff were so incredibly genuine and helpful.
