One look over the appetizer list and I immediately knew I had to get the Irish Egg Rolls which consist of cabbage, corned beef, and shredded mozzarella and is served with a side of mustard and thousand island dressing for dipping. The egg rolls were perfect deep fried and had that great corned beef and cabbage flavor and they tasted wonderful dipped in mustard. I would definitely get these again and again in the future. For the burger I just went with their classic smash burger with pepper jack cheese. It was really good, a standard burger. Nothing bougie, nothing fancy. Just a nice, classic burger with great flavor. Came with your standard toppings. Lettuce, pickle, tomato, onion, and ketchup, mayo, and mustard on the side. Service and staff was friendly and made me feel very welcome. It felt like one of those places that remembers the names of all of their regular customers. I loved the atmosphere of the place and I look forward to a future visit to try more of the menu.

For drink I had the Capo Zafferano (cabernet), the wines are affordable here which I believe is a must for any Italian restaurant. For starters we ordered the calamari and the arancini. The calamari was crispy, and I enjoyed that mainly because some restaurants serve it soggy. It being crispy showed me that it's cooked to order. Additionally the arancini was unique for me. I never seen one with beef and risotto inside of it. It was a moist beef and was all around flavorful. I would absolutely order both of those appetizers again. The entrée I tried was a classic chicken parmesan. A lot can go wrong with a chicken parmesan, but this place had a nice hearty portion served with rigatoni. You can swap for a different pasta if you like. The red sauce was flavorful and comforting, and the chicken was a big 7 oz portion. It was the perfect entrée after experiencing a long day at work. For dessert our table ordered a cannoli and a tiramisu. The cannoli was most special to me because it had a cinnamon flavored filling, not too strong, but yet present. I am a fan of cinnamon so I may be biased here. I typically do not like cannolis, but I enjoyed this one thoroughly. The tiramisu was also satisfying. Both desserts were not overly sweet, which I appreciated. My opinion on this place is all around positive, I enjoyed the meal, and the service. It's a great spot for fulfilling a comfort Italian food craving. Nothing makes me happier than a hearty portion of chicken parmesan and some wine. It's hard to critique anything here, but if you forced me to critique one thing it would be that bread service was not free. However, in my opinion the dishes are reasonably priced, so I can live with going without bread, especially when the appetizers themselves were so good. In its class I rate Valentina's a 10/10. I was completely satisfied eating here, and these days I feel some restaurants try too hard, and fail to deliver. For me Valentina's delivered. I typically include pictures of my meals, but this one was so good that I had no time to take any! Again, 10/10.

The first pitcher was dry before the waitress asked if we needed another. The person whose birthday we were celebrating ordered their meal first and got their food last (by quite a bit, half of the party was done eating already). And when they brought his food out, it was the wrong order. He went up to let us know it was wrong (because our waitress was missing) . He could see his order in the counter, but was told that order was a mistake and he received the right thing. We had two orders at the same table with one very small difference (an ingredient missing on one) and the two were blatantly different. Between slow service, wrong orders, and no accountability this place seriously disappointed tonight. It's a shame, in my opinion they were one of the best wing spots in the area, but they have obviously let their quality control drop.
