Ashliee took good care of us! Ordered the Daily Special - Turkey with mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes casserole, dressing and gravy with a side of turnip greens (could have skipped). This comfort food was delicious; you can always count on Cracker Barrel to deliver! Of course, shopping their large gift store is always a treat.

I've eaten at a few Cracker Barrel's in a few different states.. but it's been awhile. It's never really been a fantastic experience but this location changed that for me. It's charming country decor with that memorable retail store when you first walk in. We're traveling in our van and it's widely known that Crack Barrels will usually let you stay overnight in the parking lot. We asked the manager upon arriving and he was super nice and said that we could most definitely stay the night. We got a table and ordered some dinner. Grilled chicken tenders with veggies. The food came out hot and in a timely manner and tasted great. Our service experience was amazing from the hostess to our server to the manager coming by and checking on us. Service 5 stars Food 5 stars Experience 5 stars Will we be back.. absolutely

I was so excited to try the new Strawberry French Toast bake. Below is a picture of what I got when I got my order home.

The service was amazing! The food was really bad. We hadn't been to a Cracker Barrel in over 20 yrs and decided to try it again. It was really without flavor in the gravy, the hash browns were cold when brought out. My husband's ham was all fat! I ordered the Grandpas Country Fried Breakfast and only ate some of the chicken ( it was so dry) and the apples. It was supposed to also come with biscuits and gravy which the waitress forgot to bring out. I told her I didn't need it anyway and it was okay. If it wasn't for the friendly service we would have paid and just walked out.

Came in for the first time over the weekend a bit later in the day however even then it wasn't too busy. We were seated right away and got lucky to sit by the fireplace. The whole restaurant was super cozy, very country and I absolutely loved it. My son loved all the decor and was mesmerized. The portions for the food was just perfect! Not too much and not too little. The casseroles were both very delicious and the egg was cooked perfectly that the yolk was still runny. I had the Green Apple sweet tea, a bit on the sweeter side but you can taste both the green apple and the sweet tea. The total for a family of four was very reasonable and honestly a lot cheaper than other places. This may be our new go to when it comes to breakfast.

This is my 1st visit to a Cracker Barrel despite seeing the name for many times in the past. I was excited to try it but my husband has reminded to set a realistic expectation. We walked past the store where there were a lot of nostalgic items as well as Christmas things. The store smelled nice and we proceeded to the hostess area where a gentleman sat us immediately. Our server was a young man and took our orders of chicken dumplings and meatloaf. It was around 10 minutes when our food was delivered. My first impression looking at my dish was is this for human consumption? I get it, chicken dumpling is a hearty country cooking. Presentation matters. It was so gross looking as the sauce/gravy were super thick and looked dry. Then chunks of dumplings were just piling underneath the thick white gravy. There were few pieces of chicken breasts under the dumplings. I was hesitant to try but my husband said the taste was acceptable. I ended up trying a bite and had to ask the server to heat it up since it was just room temperature. The server's mask was under his chin and I didn't feel comfortable eating after the plate was reheated. So I just left it. Both side dishes were ok! My husband's meatloaf was kinda dry and he said the fried okras were good. Anyhow, this isn't a place we'll be returning. Perhaps we just ordered the wrong entrees...

The place had a decent lunch crowd, but was by no means packed, so we figured it would be quick to get food for the kids. Our waitress came to get our drink order pretty quick, but then service slowed for receiving our drinks, ordering food, getting our food, and getting her attention for a to-go box and our bill. As for the food, we ordered the Bangor, which had shrimp and haddock and choice of two sides where we chose the corn muffins and beans. We also got the Nashville hot chicken sliders with sweet potato fries, kids chicken tenders, and kids burger with fries. The kids meals were both quite generous portions, especially the chicken tenders. The tenders were nice and juicy with a crisp exterior and one of the best things ordered. The kids burger was overly charred and had a little burnt taste, so the child wouldn't eat it and ended up eating the shrimp from the other meal instead. The Nashville hot sliders were decent sandwiches and quite large, but were by no means Nashville hot, more like somewhere between mild to medium spice. The sweet potato fries were great though and went well with their bbq sauces. The fish and shrimp received mixed reviews from the two people that ordered it. The corn muffins were definitely something that we would get again and also worked great with the bbq sauces. Overall, it was fine with some good and some not so good. The price is a little higher than some restaurants with similar offerings, but the portions are quite large, so maybe that's the tradeoff. Not sure if this is going to get added to our rotation, but they did seem to have some good happy hour deals, so maybe for that.

I love that you can see them prepare each of the dishes on the screens by the kitchen. excellent service as well, staff did a great job at taking away dirty plates/glasses and replacing accordingly. I also thought each round was spaced out well so that I was never waiting for too long or had too little time to eat. There was a blindfold round where we had to rely on just taste & touch to figure out what we were eating which was both silly and fun (we found out what we were eating at the end and got some more as a gift to go). my personal fav of the meal was the sun meadow chilean sea bass!!! the sun meadow oil is a perfect dupe of butter and melted straight into that sea bass, paired with crunchy capers on a bed of creamy whipped goodness. All of the sauces were done extraordinarily well, especially that under the braised leeks!!! the tuna tartare was my bf's fav - crunchy toppings with fresh tuna on avocado in a spicy, asian inspired sauce. we were less impressed by the raviolo and steak entrees but still good (the chili oil on the raviolo kinda threw me off). the intermission was nice as a brief break to shop around and purchase things at a discount. overall, pricy meal but definitely a whole experience (3 hours long that is!). would highly recommend trying this out if you also enjoy fine dining experiences. I personally wanna come back to try their wednesday night burgers soon!!

Think dining as the entertainment and the social experience, not shoveling it in and table turnover for tips. With creative presentations, themed courses, and a strong emphasis on sensory elements, the team puts a lot of thought and passion into crafting something unique. The multicourse meal offered a wide range of flavors and techniques--some dishes were genuinely impressive, others more about the concept than the taste. The pacing was smooth, and the staff was warm, knowledgeable, and clearly invested in making the night feel special. It's the kind of place where you sit back and let the experience unfold. That said, for me, it landed in the category of "worth doing once." The evening was fun and distinctive, but more of a special-occasion outing than a spot I'd return to regularly. If you enjoy immersive dining or want something out of the ordinary, it's definitely worth trying at least once.

Online ordering was very easy and the food was ready right on time! We got the smoked pork shoulder sandwich platter with coleslaw and corn bread bites and the spicy chicken breast sandwich platter with baked beans and Mac & Cheese. The buns they use for these sandwiches are a great texture and hold up well to the amount of meat and sauce that you want on a BBQ sandwich. It never felt soggy, which is rare around the area. The pork was flavorful with a very fine shred. I wouldn't say the chicken was spicy as said on the menu, but more peppered. The real star is the bbq sauce because it comes out warm and is thin enough to pour but has enough texture to stick to the meat. Went well with everything from the meats, to the Mac & Cheese, to the corn bread bites. The corn bread bites were the stand out side, kind of like a hush puppy. Would recommend at least one person in your group gets them. I even liked them topped with the baked beans. Overall, very tasty food and nice people working. I put a little brisket burnt ends in when I make them. That would have improved these to top notch. I usually shy away from barbecue joint mac and cheese but I ordered it here. Hey, I'm in Wisconsin. It's got to be at least ok. It was better than just ok. It had a generous amount of cheese and the symtickiness that good Mac and cheese must have. For my taste, it had too much garlic. I'm a big garlic fan. When I see a recipe that says "one clove of garlic," I figure it's a misprint and they meant "one head of garlic." Here, they used powdered garlic, and I feel like the amount they used covered up the natural sweetness of the cheese. The ambiance of the place was spot on. I am visiting Madison, from Oregon (Go Ducks!) Driving by the place it looks like they've got to have at least passible 'cue. Inside it was classic back woods barbecue chic. "Log cabin" looking interior walls, red and white checkered plastic table cloths, and great old school blues on the sound system. Is this place perfect? No, won't get that until you pass through the Pearly Gates. But it's about as good as your going to get anywhere else, unless you come over to my back yard on 4th of July.
