Socal So-Cal Grain Bowl & Calabrian Shrimp Fettucine
Esther L.

Ordered the: Calabrian shrimp fettuccine: creamy rich notes of pleasant spice, al dente, good portion of well cooked shrimp Socal grain bowl: generous serving, pickled cauliflower pretty sour, chicken breast not dry, kale marinated a bit saucy Overall, aesthetic and clean restaurant with kind waitresses! Would come again.

Great menus filled with delicious food and fresh ingredients. Many vegetarian or vegan options, gluten free available. Bright and clean venue. Indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly service.

So So-Cal Grain Bowl with salmon

The So Cal Grain bowl is my go-to, even better with a salmon filet added. Super flavorful and great mix of textures! Everly is a go-to spot, especially when out with folks with dietary restrictions and needs. Everyone in my life can always find multiple, delicious options here!! Allergen and vegetarian friendly for sure. The restaurant's got an open concept with lights and modern features, and is often bustling. I recommend getting a reservation, even during lunch on a weekday. The service is consistently personable, thoughtful, and speedy, even when it's busy, which is awesome.

A solid 3 stars. Arrived around 1130am on a gorgeous Saturday. The parking lot was full, which is a great sign. I was able to easily find a spot at the bar, another great sign. The bartenders were personable and competent (I watched them deftly make multiple drinks at once). The space is large and well lit, and the outdoor seating looked nice. I'm sure it's a vibe when the temps are a little warmer. I ordered 2 drinks. Haley's Comet - tasty, albeit a little sweet for me. Call Her Daddy - def my favorite, better balanced imo. I ordered the brunch fried rice and it was a letdown. It was advertised as having bacon and there was none to be found. The food was not hot, leaning towards cold. Like it had been sitting out. Oddly the poached egg was perfect. The rice itself was clumped, as if they didn't use dried out rice (what I'm used to for fried rice) As a rule, I tend not to send food back, so I ate the shrimp and let it be what it was. I was sorely disappointed though. I saw people ordering the brunch burger and honestly that looked way better than what I ordered. I'd be willing to give it another go, as the service and drinks were lovely

Baja Fish Tacos

Everly has always been an amazing brunch spot in Madison. There's a lot of natural light in Everly so it's a great mid afternoon spot! Got a chance to try their lunch menu and that did not disappoint either! All their ingredients are so fresh and healthy. Could not pick a bad thing on the menu. We were served right after seating and our waitress was nice. The Baja fish tacos were incredible. I could eat these there every week. Highly recommend!

Late lunch, they were pretty busy but several tables were open. They had us wait about 10 minutes. Waitress kept disappearing, didn't fill our beverages & had to wave down to get a bill. Tuscan breakfast sandwich was delicious, however it shows it comes with Herb-Smashed Fingerlings potatoes included but we got charged additional $3.50 for the potatoes. Beet salad was good but it was more greens than beets, it really wasn't what I expected & it didn't work well with the avocado & cranberries. Lots of natural light & plants everywhere which is nice.

We made reservations for as soon as they opened and were sat right away. It's a decent sized restaurant. I saw they could seat 20 groups of people. I think max occupancy was 155. They were busy during the entire time we were there but they don't move through tables quickly. We got coffee and I would have liked if they came to fill it more regularly. I had already started my breakfast and was half way done before I got my second cup. We got the truffle fries as an appetizer and those were fantastic. It did take 40 minutes before we did get the fries though. For my main breakfast I got the French toast and you can't really taste the custard and I would have liked a little more syrup on it because it was a little dry on the outside but they inside was super soft. The French toast is huge and you'll definitely have left overs. We also got the barbacoa burrito which was also giant but delicious. The food overall was very good. My only complaint was that all in all it took an hour and half before we left the restaurant and I think that's a little long for breakfast but that's a personal opinion.

Chicken Caesar wrap

Had New Years Bruch at Everly, food, cocktails and service were exceptional. We had salads, a wonderful mushroom soup and a salad converted into a wrap. The kale salad that comes with the wrap is great. Since most restaurants today were closed the place was so busy, we had reservations so no problem, still atmosphere was chill. Highly recommend, Nice Monroe Street place to eat and relax.

Came back to Everly again, and I absolutely loved their avocado toast and kale salad! They were both flavorsome and unique. I also was pleasantly surprised by the iced blueberry matcha. It's one of the better blueberry matchas that I've had so far. I also tried a bit od the veggie scramble and was very impressed with the combination of the savory scramble paired with a sweet jam of some sort. Service was also friendly as well! Looking forward to my next visit.

I love Everly. I've only ever been for brunch, so I wanted to check out dinner. Our server was great! He was prompt and helpful. They were quite crowded on a weekday evening. The vibes are always nice here, with green decor and outdoor seating as well. The mac and cheese wasn't as heavy as I thought it would be, it was definitely more creamy than cheesy. The bolognese was delicious, and the tikka masala flatbread sandwich was pretty flavorful. It wasn't too spicy, probably around a 1.5/5 on a spicy scale. I also ordered one of their cocktails, I forgot what exactly the ingredients were, but it had some vodka and was a pretty pink color. I enjoyed it very much :) Overall had a great time, and will return, thanks!

Came for brunch on a Saturday at noon, we made a reservation the night before which was super easy online. I ordered the chicken and waffles and it was good! I expected it to be a little bigger but it was still tasty. The restaurant has a very open feel and it was very bright on a nice sunny days, loved the decor!

Love Love Love this place! They had the doors open and there was a wonderful breeze flowing through the bar. The atmosphere was lively and the service very friendly. Will be back for sure!

Let's start with the positive. The truffle fries were very good. Great flavor. I did make a reservation b/c I figured that they will be busy. I arrived 20 min early and the female host with dark wavy hair past her shoulders sat me. The tall multiracial eccentric looking gentleman, just seemed confused. Very confused. I was slightly frustrated with him, b/c he seemed so lost about his job but the woman who sat us helped him out. Thank God for her. When we were sat, we waited for at least 10 min, we weren't acknowledged by our waitress with the beautifully red curly hair. She was nice. But if I were to ever come back I would never want to be waited on by her again. We had to ask for refills of water after I seen her look at our empty cups and keep walking. When I asked for straws she did bring them in napkins but she placed them on the table so fast they rolled out onto the table. The chicken and waffles .. The waffles taste like they were frozen and warmed up. They didn't taste like they were freshly made - they were hard. The chicken, wasn't that bad, the color of the batter was off it looked very light .. oddly light but the flavor was ok. Needed more seasoning. The syrup was thinly placed on there. I wish the waitress would have asked,"do you need more syrup"? The Sirloin Hash... It was ok, it definitely needed tomato salsa or a light pico de gallo for people who don't like a "runny egg" or a sunny egg. I asked her could they cook the egg a little longer - I just didn't want it runny and it came back hard (sigh). A little more meat wouldn't hurt either. At the end, she took at least 10 min to bring my change for the bill. I'm like what is going on!? The ambiance, the cleanliness, the polite female host, the truffle fries, barely brought my experience to 3 stars but here we are . 8/24/25 1:30pm

I…read morehave gone there on more than one occasion where their bartenders were rude, unprofessional, and ruined the overall experience. My husband still loves coming to Atomic Koi Cocktail Lounge because it's a laid back lounge away from the rowdier young local college students bar atmosphere that's still vibrant with an eclectic vibe with illuminated fish tanks and a fun cozy ambiance. The crowd is mostly young working professionals near the area mid 20s-30s on up that are looking to unwind and have fun with their family/friends. Atomic Koi is a fun lounge that has games like a giant Connect Four, a pool table, shuffle board, and darts. They also have a good diverse cocktail menu that has something satisfying for everyone from martinis, tropical drinks, mojitos, beer, and more. Recently, my husband suggested the Atomic Koi to show our friends and family from out of town a good time in the Madison area. I ordered a cocktail and the bartender claimed they didn't have the ingredients to make the drink which didn't bother me but I have gone to Atomic Koi more than once trying to order a cocktail on their menu and the bartenders claimed they were unable to make it or didn't have the ingredients or maybe they just didn't feel like making it like some of their ice cream drinks and it wasn't busy in the moment. I then ordered the Golden Colada which is a fun pineapple tropical flavored drink! If they are unable to make a specific drink but the drink is advertised on their menu they should be able to make it consistently if requested otherwise take it off the cocktail menu permanently because patrons expect to be able to order a specific drink if its on the menu. My husband, friends, and family were having a good time. A back corner nook opened up where some people left and we wanted to sit there as a group however there was super sticky drinks on the floor under the table nook. One of my family members asked one of the bartenders if she could please mop up the sticky floor or find another staff that could. The bartender was super rude to my family member and said she wasn't going to mop it up until closing time at 1am. Then my family member asked if she would at least get someone to pull the mop out from the back and he would mop it up himself and she refused. She should have politely told my family member "sorry I am unable to leave the bar area but I will find another staff to mop it up when they are able to" but it was her rude don't care entitled attitude which didn't leave a good impression on my family members from out of town. I went back up to the bar and spoke to a different bartender who wasn't busy tending the bar and told him the situation. He did fix the situation and mopped up the sticky floor when he was able to which I appreciated but he looked over it like he didn't really want to be there not really friendly. If Atomic Koi could consistently recruit/ retain more professional, trained, personable, friendly bartenders and actually follow through in making cocktails actually advertised in their cocktail menu , its a great spot to go to for a great drink and a fun place to unwind!

Our server, Hannah, was absolutely wonderful. Her knowledge of the menu (we needed to some help with gluten free selections) thoughtful explanations, and perfectly paced service made the entire evening feel effortless. Truly top-tier hospitality. We started with an amuse-bouche of a warm autumn soup...lovely welcome to the meal. The salmon tartare with house-made chips had a wonderful balance of flavor and texture. Then came the roasted beets with crème fraîche and toasted hazelnuts, easily one of the standouts of the night. Unbelievably good. We shared two entrées: a medley of mushrooms over cheesy polenta, which was rich, comforting, and delicious, and expertly cooked cod with a creamy sauce that somehow felt both light and decadent. A small house salad rounded out the meal, and the cocktails were refined and every bit as impressive. I cannot wait to come back. If you haven't visited this lovely Madison bistro, please make it part of your dining journey....and hopefully you'll have the pleasure of having Hannah guide you through it.

I'd heard mixed reviews from various people who had gone right when they opened, and I was very happy with the place. We were celebrating my pup's 12th birthday, and the bartender offered him a "Pup-tini." Wow, how sweet and it was the cutest, most thoughtful pup treat I've seen in quite some time. The bartender was super nice and accommodating for my un-Wisconsin request of a classic old fashioned served up. And omg it was delicious -- it's hit or miss at cocktail bars how it ends up, and this is officially one of my favorites. While tiny, the inside is really cutely decorated and has these amazing lush emerald green chairs. They're so comfortable! I'm already planning to come back here with some friends. It's size means it probably will be packed at peak drinking times, but I came on a weekday afternoon close to when they opened. There were still a decent amount of people here, but there was a nice outdoor patio type space as well. Consider this one of my new favorite places in Madison. Highly recommend.

First thing is they have touch tunes so you can set your own vibes for the night. The decor and lighting is perfect. A lot of velvet seating and gold accents. I ordered the "Yes you can buy me love" which was Espolon Tequila, Strawberry, Lime Juice, Triple Sec, Coconut Milk, Mint, Sugar Rim. It was really good. I also tried my husband's "Stuck in a Snowbank" which was state line coffee liqueur, bourbon cream, frangelico, cold brew. It basically tasted like a coffee that was a little sweeter. All the cocktails were great. Again I'm so glad we stumbled across this stop because even the bar goers were super nice.
