We found this absolute gem for Sunday brunch after seeing great reviews for their gluten-free options, and it did not disappoint. We made a 12:00 PM reservation, which was definitely necessary because the place was full. Right off the bat, our server asked if anyone had food allergies or dietary restrictions. When I mentioned I have celiac disease, he confidently assured me they could absolutely accommodate it, which immediately gave me peace of mind. I ordered a strawberry spritz and we shared the gluten-free donuts to start. A huge win for the celiac community is that they have a dedicated fryer, so we also safely shared the truffle fries. For our main entrees, I had the fried rice which was excellent. My husband ordered the skirt steak hash with gluten-free toast and loved it, though it is worth noting for others that it packs quite a lot of spice. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive regarding the allergy protocols. The overall service ran a little slow, but it was understandable given how slammed they were for the Sunday rush. As an added bonus, the restaurant has its own parking lot, making the logistics seamless. I rarely update a review after only six months but our recent experience at Everly warrants a change. We had a reservation in hand and arrived early. Since it was nice outside we opted to eat on the small patio which was nice. Our server was was very good and kept things moving. It was happy hour so we ordered two of their spritzes which were $6 each - they were both good (strawberry/ limoncello). Appetizers were supposedly $10 each during happy hour - we got the tempura veggies which were very good. We also got the chicken wings which we later found out when we got the bill that they were not considered to be an appetizer covered by the happy hour pricing (they should make this clearer on the menu.) The wings themselves were good but six wings for $18 was a ripoff. I get it that inflation is high but that is ridiculous... My wife got the fried chicken sandwich which was very dry. A solid 3 stars. Arrived around 1130am on a gorgeous Saturday. The parking lot was full, which is a great sign. I was able to easily find a spot at the bar, another great sign. The bartenders were personable and competent (I watched them deftly make multiple drinks at once). The space is large and well lit, and the outdoor seating looked nice. We made reservations for as soon as they opened and were sat right away. It's a decent sized restaurant. I saw they could seat 20 groups of people. I think max occupancy was 155. They were busy during the entire time we were there but they don't move through tables quickly. We got coffee and I would have liked if they came to fill it more regularly. I had already started my breakfast and was half way done before I got my second cup. We got the truffle fries as an appetizer and those were fantastic. It did take 40 minutes before we did get the fries though. For my main breakfast I got the French toast and you can't really taste the custard and I would have liked a little more syrup on it because it was a little dry on the outside but they inside was super soft. The French toast is huge and you'll definitely have left overs. We also got the barbacoa burrito which was also giant but delicious. The food overall was very good. My only complaint was that all in all it took an hour and half before we left the restaurant and I think that's a little long for breakfast but that's a personal opinion. read more

I love Everly. I've only ever been for brunch, so I wanted to check out dinner. Our server was great! He was prompt and helpful. They were quite crowded on a weekday evening. The vibes are always nice here, with green decor and outdoor seating as well. The mac and cheese wasn't as heavy as I thought it would be, it was definitely more creamy than cheesy. The bolognese was delicious, and the tikka masala flatbread sandwich was pretty flavorful. It wasn't too spicy, probably around a 1.5/5 on a spicy scale. Let's start with the positive. The truffle fries were very good. Great flavor. I did make a reservation b/c I figured that they will be busy. The waffles taste like they were frozen and warmed up. They didn't taste like they were freshly made - they were hard. The chicken, wasn't that bad, the color of the batter was off it looked very light .. oddly light but the flavor was ok. Needed more seasoning. The syrup was thinly placed on there. I wish the waitress would have asked,"do you need more syrup"? The Sirloin Hash... It was ok, it definitely needed tomato salsa or a light pico de gallo for people who don't like a "runny egg" or a sunny egg. I asked her could they cook the egg a little longer - I just didn't want it runny and it came back hard (sigh). A little more meat wouldn't hurt either. At the end, she took at least 10 min to bring my change for the bill. I'm like what is going on!? The reviews looked great, and the photos were very appetizing. Our server was very nice. I really liked the purple potatoes too. (fingerlings) We ordered the chicken and waffles, the steak hash, the salmon avocado Benedict, and the avocado toast. Unfortunately, we found the food to be very bland. I think a little salt, pepper and garlic would go a long way here. It was very beautiful and instagram-able, but no flavor. Additionally, I am not sure my salmon was still good. I had a hard time with the flavor and did not eat more than a couple of bites. I felt nauseous and decided to stop eating it. I do eat smoked salmon pretty regularly, and this just didn't sit right. my last point would probably be that our food took quite a bit of time to get to us. I don't know if they are understaffed, but it seemed to take longer than typical. I went here once upon a time when it was newer and I don't remember loving it. However, this past weekend for a special event, they hit the mark. We made reservations in advanced, seated promptly. I had a bite of my boyfriend's fish fry, and it was so light and airy-I would totally come back here for that. I could see your everyday Wisconsinite maybe complain that you get two pieces of fish for $19 but let's remember, inflation, they make it GF (such a delight for those with dietary restrictions-we had two in the group) and it's a perfect portion that doesn't leave you with a heavy gut. I'm sold on it and would come back here! Menu offers a wide variety of flavors. They were out of my first choice dessert - Japanese cheesecake, but I did enjoy the apple crisp too! Had a dinner with friends at Everly last night and have to give the place a very mixed review. I had their burger and paid extra for the sweet potato fries. I started off with a Wisconsin staple...a brandy old fashioned. The brandy old fashioned was a real disappointment, extra weak and served without the traditional orange slice or cherries. It tasted like a mediocre mix poured out of a bottle. Burger was tasty and beautifully done, but the fries were rather limp and nasty. I dined at Everly twice this past week because I had such a great first visit. My first experience was a weeknight dinner, and my second was a late Saturday lunch. Our waiter was extremely attentive and had a wonderfully bright personality. Service was very quick, from placing our order to receiving our dishes. We ordered the truffle fries as an appetizer, and they were fresh out of the fryer. The fries had the perfect level of truffle oil, and they were SO crispy. My favorite dish from both visits was the kale salad. I would eat this every single day if I could. The salad is mixed with a sweet vinaigrette, and topped with finely shaved Parmesan and thinly diced apples. Both the chicken sandwich and house burger were good. But the stand-out entree was the steak sandwich I ordered for dinner earlier in the week. I was blown away by the sandwich, and how deliciously seasoned the steak was. For lunch, we spent $44 for two entrees and an appetizer, and it was well worth the service, environment, and yummy food.
