Decently priced wings. I only go here on Tuesdays when it is half off. Plenty of parking in the lot (shared with 168 Sushi), and many booths and tables for seating. I'm terrible with spicy so even when I'm with friends I only eat some mix of BBQ, sweet thai, and honey garlic. The wings are a decent size, although some of the sauces are a bit too concentrated, like the BBQ. Service is nice and friendly, and relatively quick as well. If you're just looking for the wings, I would suggest going earlier in the day because it does get packed at night (e.g. if you're looking to watch sports on the big screens/bar setting) . 59 cents per wing on Tuesdays (you have to order a drink, but after that its still quite worth it). read more

Good Sports Bar with food suiting watching the game. I was actually there for the happy hour that had half off all the appetizers, so I ordered the Crabby Combo with a little bit of everything. Tons of food. The place was crowded that night but they handled the crowd well. I sat at the bar and enjoyed some pints of Canadian with my food while watching the hockey game on TV. read more

We just had a dinner at this place. The waitress Rachael spoke in a sarcastic tone the entire time. For one chicken wings plate, only 9 chicken wings were served instead of 10. We told the waitress politely that one wing is missing. She replied "are you sure" in a way as if we are liars. In the end, our group agreed that it's highly likely that she is a racist. read more

*sigh* Giving any restaurant a bad review upsets me because I understand that every business experiences off-nights. For some odd reason, every time I come here, it's an off-night. A group of 9 of us were celebrating 2 birthdays here on a Monday night around 6pm. The restaurant wasn't busy (no surprise) and we had a lovely waitress. We ordered our food, and it came out quicker than we thought. I got the 10 honey garlic chicken wings for $13.99 before tax and they were amazing! I absolutely loved my food, unfortunately, most people didn't. Everyone who got a burger (3 people) were unhappy. One got "Cheddar on Cheddar" and there was only 1 lonely piece of cheddar. The other 2 got "Bacon and Cheddar" but they said the burger tasted bland. One of us got chicken pasta and that too was bland. One couldn't get what she wanted because they ran out of quite a few ingredients. Overall, it was just bad. Our amazing waitress is the only reason I'm giving this place a 2 star instead of 1. She was polite and attentive :) Overall however, this experience was very upsetting for most people in our group. Handling big groups is not easy for any restaurant, but still, we're paying customers like everyone else. Something stupid to complain about: I hate the lighting in there! We sat in the middle of the restaurant with 1 set of windows facing me and they wouldn't turn on the lights because it was still bright out but it was like a movie theatre in the restaurant! This is the worst tavern/bar ever, servers are not polite. We used to go there because of close proximity from our house. Couples of times we were overcharged and when complained the next day they said well our tills were balanced. Not exactly near my house but my family and I found ourselves in the area this past weekend and thought we'd check it out after a long absence. The parking lot was quite busy but we were delighted to be seated right away in the area we chose. (In the bar area so we could watch sports as we dined - LOTS of TVs.) Our waiter, who also served as the bartender was prompt, friendly and knowledgable. Really super nice guy! The draft beer selection was good, if not overly extensive but I was pleased with the choices and the temperature. My wife had a caesar which she quite honestly has not stopped raving about since. I'll suspect our next visit will be sooner rather than later. I had the rib and wing combo - with a caesar salad. All of which was surprisingly good! The menu was large and appeared to offer something for everyone. They have a number of specials throughout the week including 1/2 price wings on Tuesdays and kids eat free on Sundays. It has a really cozy neighbourhood vibe and everyone seemed to be really enjoying themselves - I know we certainly did. Great for watching a sports event or just a nice night out with the family. We will be back. And sooner rather than later. read more

I recommend the fish fajita lunch special. I opted for a garden salad as the side, and it was more than enough food to fill up on. The interior is nice and spacious with one large exception - their floor is extremely slippery, not just one place but the whole floor. Televisions were ample, and they have a good satellite package to be able to get nice sports channels. Parking is free, and with the size of this restaurant, there is not likely a waiting time. read more

Crabby Joe's is an old favourite of mine that I hadn't visited in a while. So I decided to out and see what new and delicious types of burgers they had. The menu did not disappoint, a variety of options for just about anyone who enjoys standard western fair. They had a new, massive, burger advertised and I had to try it. It was two patties, bacon onion rings and some other standard toppings. It took at least twenty minutes to arrive and the meat was far too overcooked. Unfortunately at this point I could not send it back for a new one as I was already on a time constraint. The side salad that came with it was delicious. All the toppings on the burger were great but the meat itself ruined it. I took a party off and just ate that way, so less of the flavour was the overcooked meat. The waitress was average. She came once to see how we were doing and did not come again for a water top up. Overall I was pretty disappointed with what used to be my go to burger place. I think I will hold off on going again any time soon. read more

Great fun peanut throwing place. You can eat peanuts in the bar area and make a mess. As for the food it's not the best but the prices reflect that. Good wings and nightly specials. Yesterday evening we were celebrating a birthday and decided to go to your Oxford St, London Ontario location. None of us had ever been to a Crabby Joes. I must say that the hostess was excellent, smiling and very welcoming, Our waitress(Angelika) was #1 amazing, helpful and extremely pleasant. As it was a Thursday we all had the rib special for $12.00 each. Ribs were good, baked potato a little overcooked but edible. Certainly no reason to send anything back. Pretty average meal, nothing memorable. However just a few things to mention: First, as it was a birthday, we found it disappointing that when the ice-cream and sparkler arrived, there was no staff, other than the waitress, that came to the table to sing. Hey...that's half the fun when you take a person to a restaurant! This is ever, ever the only place that we have went that did nothing to make it fun??? Would any of us go to Crabby Joes for a birthday dinner...NEVER! Another thing I would like to mention is having a cup of tea for a beverage. Now...seriously.....hot water with a tea bag, cost an additional $2.69. Not much of a Thursday special....half rack of ribs(6 bones) with a small baked potato and tea.....$14.69???? None of us were overboard and in all likelihood won't go again. But must strongly say that the two staff that we encountered were especially excellent. It's decent, but I find the service somewhat hit-or-miss. The menu gives you a lot to choose from, but the food isn't that spectacular. The pricing is pretty good and they have half priced appetizers after 9pm (if you buy a beverage). It's a sports bar-feel, which is always nice, I'd definitely say that the atmosphere is the best part of this place. I personally prefer the downtown location (Dundas Street) because the food is exactly the same, but the service is a lot better. read more

The service was better then expected, the menu is average as well as the food. The Whiskey sauce on the Burger is a nice touch, but the Burger is small and I have had better elsewhere. The fries are standard, but the Cheesecake Zango for dessert with Cinnamon was a nice touch and we would go back for it. If you have never tried Crabby's I would say try it for yourself and determine your liking. read more

I have eaten at Crabby Joe's on Dundas probably 30 times and never had a bad meal. We thought we would try the Crabby Joe's by our house and the difference was unexpected. I ordered the Poutine and it came to the table cold, if as a chef you cannot deep fry a few frozen fries out of a bag put on some pre-prepared chilli and not serve it warm your in the wrong career. Not only was the meal cold but the gravy was not Poutine gravy and therefore the dish tasted nothing like Poutine. I was offered 15% as a discount due to the cold food and the manager did not even come to the table even though the place was quiet on a Saturday night (now I know why). We paid extra for a Sundae for my son which they did not provide. Do yourself a favor there a many other places in London to eat far better than this. read more
