However, tonight I ordered takeout and my shrimp and broccoli were extremely overcooked. I called to see if I could bring it back, and the waitress said she needed to check with the manager first. After speaking with the manager, she told me I needed to send an email with a photo of the food to "prove" I was telling the truth. I agreed, but then she refused to give me the email address to send the photo. I offered to bring the food back in person, and she refused to allow that as well. Needless to say .... I gave her a piece of my mind!! The manager was UNBELIEVABLY rude, unprofessional, and completely unhelpful. This heifer, told me she was at home with her family and didn't have time for this!!! I had the catfish po boy and my wife got wings the 1st time we got food from there. The Zydeco wings were gamey and the po boy was just okay. I was craving catfish, so I went back and ordered 2 pieces of catfish for a total of $10. The 2 catfish filets were just a whole filet that was cut in half. Thankfully, the kitchen was feeling generous that day and threw in an extra piece of catfish. The fish was very-well seasoned. So much so, that putting hot sauce on it made it too salty for my liking. I added tater sauce as well, but it really didn't need it. It was seasoned that well! There was a slight burnt after taste as if the filets had been cooked in grease that got too hot and burned or had just been used for a while. I'll likely go back to some of the more traditional New Orleans food such as etouffee. Based on my experience so far, I think the food is decent. Hoping that trying more dishes will cause me to give a higher rating in the future.
