EPIC FAIL! Second time, most likely, last time. I just left this restaurant after waiting for 40 minutes to receive NOTHING. That's right folks nothing...my friend and I entered the dining room at 6:10. We ordered 1 app and 1 entree, both of which were fried, at 6:18. At this moment, our waitress informed us she'd bring us both waters. They arrived 8 minutes later. {8 minutes for 2 glasses of House Tap.} Guess what though, a table seated 5 minutes after my table, who's order was taken AFTER my table, received there food first. But wait there's more. i was informed 10 minutes prior that our food, would be right out. Well ladies and gentlemen, this is where the saga of disappointing service ended, we left 10 minutes later. Honestly, the seafood here is good. You can see for yourself. The costs range from Average to High, depending on how much and how it's cooked. They have everything from fried platters and sandwiches to boils and family style feasts. The prices for alcohol beverages is Standard to Good. They also have daily Drink Specials. The presentation; simple yet attractive. The customer service, attention to detail and lack there of, leave a lot to be desired. Also, this is a casual dining restaurant with a wraparound porch for outdoor eating, weather permitting. It has freestanding tables, limited booths and bar seating. Multiple TV's with a myriad of ongoing sports, displayed throughout. I can't say that I'll be back, however I've given you enough information to make your own decisions.

Lorrrrd I'm sad I'm just trying this spot! Granted, I'm never out this way but if I ever am nearby??? Best believe I'm popping in here for SOMETHING! Wings. Fried shrimp. Catfish. Hush puppies. Croaker (seasonal). Fries. Everything we had was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. And even better, the prices weren't gouged extremely high. Everything was affordable and the portions were hefty. Our waitress, Keyana, was an absolute gem of a human. Fun personality, patient with us while we decided on which fish exactly to order, made sure everything was just right. No complaints here. Just sad I can't get more of this anytime soon now that I'm back on the west coast!

In town for work. I'm originally from Baltimore. But now I live in Atlanta. Not a B more crabcake, but definitely a good crabcake. I'm definitely happy I decide to come to try this out. The crabcake was very good and favorable.. Cajun fries were on point. And the shrimp dumplings not too bad. My server was very nice and friendly checked on me often to make sure I was doing good. Atmosphere cool laid-back vibe reminds me of Windsor Inn. Next time I'm in this area I will definitely check them out again.

We took my grandmother here for her 68th birthday. First let me say the restaurant was very nice. They also have a deck outside where you can eat. Our waiter G was phenomenal! He checked on us consistently and had no problem with making sure everything we got was what we wanted. Now the food. We all ordered seafood boils. Now I've been to almost every seafood boil place and let me say this spot is hands down the best. The seafood was fresh, eggs were fresh, I also added broccoli which was fresh! The bags had so much sauce. Most places give you more of the spices than the butter but crab boat executed both. My aunt and cousin who are autistic and eats selectively ordered the fried fish meal with a side of broccoli and potatoes in their crab boat special sauce. I also had the hush puppies which came with honey. I would definitely recommend this spot for couples and family.

The Big Spoon always has a new place for us to watch football, we are football junkies, sigh! The Crab Boat Restaurant is located in the boondocks for sure but what a hidden gem! Service was Great! From the two front desk girls to the amazing bartender, we had a wonderful time! The bartender was a football fan so that always makes for great conversation. Ambiance is causal, you are fine to come in regular smegular, sweats, jeans, leave your dresses hung up. Let's get Into It! Drinks- Delicious! Perfect Pours! Appetizer: Steamed Oysters - Exceeded my expectations! That secret sauce was excellent! YUMMERS! Crab Balls: Yummy - Met expectations could have added a little more crab and not so much filing but GOOD! (I'm just a greedy crab lover.) Shrimp Basket - Yes. Juicy and Big Shrimp! Crab Legs - Very Good! Overall, I'm sold, I'd come back! It's close to the boondock house and not too far of a drive. Enough good food and fun to say, "can't wait to come back". Nessa Approved!

I'm not sure what the name of this restaurant was when I visited years ago, but the concept has changed. Before, it was a traditional seafood restaurant, now it's an uber popular seafood bowl restaurant that's becoming the McDonald's of seafood joints.. One on every corner..LOL! Looking for a place to watch the Commanders whip up on the Eagles this past Sunday, we chose Crab Boat because they have a plethora of TV's in the bar area. We ordered a little bit of everything.. Crab bites, steamed oysters, jumbo fried shrimp and crab legs. Everything was very good but I don't mind getting messy at seafood bowl restaurants and neither does she..LOL. Our bartender/server was super cool, super friendly with a great personality and she made our drinks to perfection (strong and tasty)! Crab Boat is off the beaten path, in a random area off of Berry Road. It's pretty large but definitely no frills. PLEASE keep it casual or you'll look very much out of place! I'm glad I rediscovered Crab Boat because everything was very good and it's close enough to the new crib to visit more that once every 10yrs..LOL!!

All the food was really delicious! I ordered the party wings, and a friend recommended mixing the flavors, and it was a hit. The crab boil combo three with the signature sauce was really good as well, the combos are well worth the price. You get a lot of food in the bags. I'd recommend!

I am a regular at crab boat. I did a wrap around to finally try the fish and cheese sub. Sensational is the best way for me to describe it. #EatGoodAndBeHappy

Solid spot. We've only gotten takeout but finally sat inside to eat. Inside was pretty minimal, very casual spot. Lots of parking, quick service. Normally would get the seafood boil but wasn't feeling it that day-- the shrimp pasta was very garlicky but tasty. The sauce in the boils are pretty good and the seafood tastes good too. Service was great - we wanted to take the leftover rice home and they gave us fresh rice too.

The food here is always good. However, recently their prices went up some and to me the prices were already expensive for seafood bags.

It is colorful, lively, and feels like a place that actually wants you there--not just another restaurant turning tables. That alone sets the tone. Let's talk drinks first--because they deserve it. The margaritas are not an afterthought. They are strong, well-balanced, and taste like someone behind the bar understands what they are doing. Not overly sweet, not watered down--just right. Food-wise, everything came out hot and full of flavor. You know that moment when a plate hits the table and you can already tell it is about to be good? That. Whether it was the seasoning, the portions, or just the overall freshness, it did not feel like anything was rushed or phoned in. And let me give you a real tip--always ask for a bigger table. There were five of us, and the amount of food that came out? We needed the space. This is not a "small plates, cute portions" kind of place. They show up for real. And I have to say--service matters to me, especially after some recent experiences elsewhere. Here, I did not have to flag anyone down. We were checked on, taken care of, and actually seen as guests. That should be standard, but clearly it is not everywhere--so it stood out. I literally have nothing bad to say. This is one of those places that gets added to the rotation immediately.

I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews because I know restaurants work hard, and I do want to start…read morewith the positives because there were definitely some. The staff was amazing. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout the night. The food was good, not necessarily memorable, but solid overall. I also tried a cocktail that was just okay. Now for the part that completely changed the experience for us. We visited on a Thursday night and had no idea it was karaoke night (possibly ladies night as well). I really wish that had been communicated before we were seated because the atmosphere was very different from what you'd expect at a family Mexican restaurant around 7:30 on a Thursday evening. The music was already extremely loud, giving more of a club/lounge vibe, but once karaoke started, things took a turn. Multiple participants chose songs filled with profanity and explicit lyrics. One performer even sang "My Neck, My Back" word for word, uncensored, over the microphone while families and children were actively sitting and eating nearby. That's where the issue really comes in for me. I'm all for adults having fun and restaurants creating entertainment nights, but there has to be some consideration for the environment and audience. This is still a family restaurant, and there were plenty of children present. It just felt wildly inappropriate for that setting and time of night. Even when the DJ finally asked the participants to be respectful they continued with the language and sexual content. Had we known beforehand, we probably would have chosen another night to visit. Management may want to reconsider how karaoke nights are handled, whether that means giving guests a heads up before seating, limiting explicit music, or making those nights adults-only after a certain hour. I'm sharing this simply so other families know what to expect because unfortunately, no one told us.
