I narrowed it down to 3 shops and chose Glamour Auto Body Repair based on their reviews. I called on a Friday & spoke to Nick. Brought my car in that same day for an inspection & quote with Nick & the quote was lower than my insurance deductible. Was told that the repair would take 2-3 days. Dropped off my car yesterday morning and received a call today mid morning that my car would be ready by lunch. I was expecting it to be ready closer to the 3 day mark so this was a pleasant surprise. When I went to pick up my car the cost was still the same as the quote I was given. Both Daniel's (the manager & technician) were there during my pick and was very friendly. When I tell you my car is super squeaky clean! They did more than just fix the back bumper damage that I brought my car in for. The front of my hood had some wear & tear marks and they are completely unnoticeable now, thank you! My car looks brand new and clean inside and out, and vacuumed. Thank you so much to the entire Glamour staff for a wonderful first experience. I took my daughter's car here for an electrical issue at 8am on a Tuesday. We didn't hear from them till we called at 2pm to see if there was an update. They said there were no issues with the car and we could come pick it up. We said we wanted to leave it there overnight to make sure the issue didn't resurface, as my daughter needs the car to drive to work and I we don't want her to get stranded. No call the next morning. We called at 11am to see if it was still fine. They hadn't looked at it yet and said they would look at it now. No return call again. We called at 1pm and they said we needed an NEW ENGINE! No, not engine but a new "motor". We asked for an explanation. These are the reasons they provided. 1. They said we had no oil in the car. - My husband has been changing the oil in the car for the last 6 years. My daughter checked the oil last week. There was oil in the car. The car has NEVER not had oil. 2. There was a valve cover leak. - News to us. This was not an issue before we came here. We have never had visible oil around the oil cover. 3. A cylinder is misfiring. - This is a sign that a spark plug or the coil needs to be replaced. I don't know if they thought we didn't know anything about cars because we are women but they are definitely wrong. We immediately went up there to pick up the car. The car was still in the garage with the hood up. There was a large blue oil drain in front of our car that was supposed to bone dry. We drove away and there was a cloud of white smoke. What the heck! We came there was an electrical issue. The car has NEVER had this issue. We pulled over and drove in my car to the auto part store to pick up a quart of oil. No issues after to put oil in the car. I ran a diagnostic on the car because we have a micro mechanic diagnostic reader. NOW the car reads that there cylinder 1 is misfiring. Luckily we know how to change spark plugs and coils. After we fix the damage they did to the car, we're taking it to Hyundai to finally get the electrical looked at. A wait of money and two days of time. We are out $80 for their mandatory diagnostic fee, Vo didn't have this, the price of an emergency quart of oil and the spark plug or oil after we perform the test to see which one is having the issue. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! DO NOT GO HERE!

Once serious and decided, I returned to hand over the car and get a more tuned quote and timeline. During the next 12 weeks, the car's awful fiberglass body was given much needed TLC. Mike was in constant contact over phone and text message, providing status updates, pictures, and timeline updates. I'm very very pleased with the results and the price. It was not cheap (between $5k and $10k), but other shops were quoting $15k+. The difference might be that the other shops were only wanting to do a perfect, concourse-level job, and I was able to inform Sentry that this was unnecessary for my use case. I highly recommend Sentry to anyone with a car they truly care about, be it classic or modern. You won't pay an exorbitant price and will get very good results. I'm sure you can get better results if you ask and are willing to pay for the extra time.

I finally picked up my vehicle on July 16, a total of 44 days later. During that entire period, I had to rely on a rental car, and in my opinion, much of the delay could have been minimized through better communication and more efficient handling of the insurance process. Throughout the repair, the body shop occasionally contacted me regarding insurance matters. Each time, I reminded them that I was represented by an attorney and asked that all insurance and payment-related communications be directed to my legal representative. I wanted to avoid confusion and ensure everything was handled properly. On July 10, Bryanna left me a voicemail informing me that my vehicle was finally ready for pickup. However, she also stated that I would need to pay $1,064.94 out of pocket because the insurance company had declined to cover that portion of the repair. This came as a complete surprise. If there was a dispute regarding the insurance payment, I believe the body shop should have discussed the matter with my attorney before informing me that I owed the balance. I was left wondering whether the repair shop had failed to negotiate with the insurance company, whether they had accepted charges that were never approved, or whether they had simply bypassed the legal representative I had instructed them to communicate with. I immediately forwarded the voicemail to my attorney. On July 13, my attorney formally disputed the outstanding balance and demanded the immediate release of my vehicle. The disputed amount consisted primarily of unapproved diagnostic sublets, electronic scan markups, paint material rate differences, and miscellaneous labor and administrative charges that had not been expressly authorized as my personal financial responsibility. The demand letter argued that these charges were neither approved by the insurer nor properly disclosed as out-of-pocket expenses under Georgia law. When the collision center failed to respond, my attorney had the letter personally served by a professional process server on July 14. Even after receiving formal legal notice, the shop never replied. At that point, my attorney advised me that, to avoid additional storage fees, continued rental car expenses, and further inconvenience, I should pay the disputed amount under protest simply to recover my vehicle while preserving my legal rights. When I arrived to pick up my car, several employees, along with the owner, Michelle, were waiting with a thick file containing my repair records. Michelle spent considerable time explaining why the charges were justified. However, that wasn't really the issue from my perspective. My concern was not whether they believed the charges were reasonable. It was why my attorney had been excluded from the discussion despite my repeated instructions. Michelle also commented that I never returned Bryanna's voicemail. I explained that this was intentional because I had already retained legal counsel and had specifically instructed the shop to communicate directly with my attorney regarding any disputed payment issues. I wanted to avoid creating conflicting communications while a legal representative was handling my case. Michelle repeatedly suggested that I should direct my frustration toward State Farm, explaining that the company is known for disputing or underpaying certain repair costs. While that may or may not be true, it did not answer my primary concern: why was I required to pay over $1,000 out of pocket to retrieve my vehicle when I was the innocent party in the accident? Ultimately, I paid the entire $1,064.94 simply to get my vehicle back. As if that wasn't frustrating enough, Bryanna then informed me that using a credit card would incur an additional 3.5% processing fee. After everything that had already occurred, hearing about another charge was extremely disappointing. At that point, I simply told them to do whatever they needed to do because I just wanted my car back. Fortunately, Michelle later agreed to waive the credit card processing fee. While the repair work itself appears to have been completed satisfactorily, the overall customer experience left me deeply disappointed. The lack of communication with my attorney, the unexpected out-of-pocket charges, the absence of any response to formal legal correspondence, and the manner in which the final payment was handled created unnecessary stress during an already difficult situation. I still do not believe I should have been responsible for these disputed charges, particularly since the accident was caused by another driver. If this matter cannot be resolved appropriately, I intend to continue pursuing all legal remedies available to recover the amount I was forced to pay.
