I've never seen anything quite like this business, and I mean that in the best way…read more This should be your new "go-to" if you are seeking a custom gift, or a unique piece for your own home. I'll start by saying that my very goal was to give my father in law a special gift. Something you couldn't get anywhere else. After hearing stories of his childhood, and some of the things that meant something to him as a child, I looked to recreate an old sign in glass. Fortunately, Facebook pointed me to Groovy Moon Glass, and the owner Nicole, who happens to have her storefront right there in my hometown. I started by reaching out to Groovy Moon Glass through Facebook, and telling Nicole what I was looking for. She had great vision - from my ideas she crafted a design that was even better than I had imagined. She also had an amazing knowledge of what size I would need to really make the details pop. The finished product - beautiful! Hanging in the window, the light shines through and it really catches the eye. Truly, it's a centerpiece that my father in law absolutely loves. I had it shipped directly to him in Colorado. I haven't done this (yet!) But she makes incredible portraits of people's pets, and everyone raves about how great those are as gifts. That will be my next purchase! Something they do that I also have not taken advantage of - classes in store! Check out her Facebook for pics of the kids classes, which look super great. There's nothing like a custom piece, but keep in mind - custom items take time and don't always come cheap. Believe me, though, you get something more valuable than what you pay - a piece that is one of a kind, and absolutely sure to be something that the recipient, or you, treasure forever. I'm so glad I found Groovy Moon Glass, thankful for Nicole's talent, and even more grateful that this place is in my hometown making it a better place.

We were able to pump our own paint and choose the colors we wanted. I chose the dog because she looks like my dog and I followed the instructions and put my own little twist on it by referring to a photo of my dog. The woman in charge was very nice and helpful when needed. We had a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend them to others. Thank you!

Each day has a different painting that will be done, so you can choose a day with a painting you like! The experience is BYOB and you just bring yourself and everything else is supplied such as the canvas, brushes, and paint! There is a seating chart but they do place you next to your party to make the experience more enjoyable. There will be an instructor in each class that goes through each and every step to complete the painting. Although I'm not much of a painter, the instructor was very helpful in fixing anything I didn't like and answering any questions on steps I had missed. She made the experience very fun with her upbeat, funny personality. I also loved that she wasn't strict in what we were allowed to draw. We could add or omit any part of the painting we wanted! The only complaint I would have is that pricing. It is quite expensive ranging from $35-$45 usually.

The biggest thing we appreciated was their honestly about factors to consider when seriously thinking about opening a business. They did not sugar coat the facts and gave us helpful outlines to consider when working with lawyers, real estate agents, and banks. We appreciated their extremely high standard for quality and consistency when it comes to preparing coffee & selecting beans. The staff was very down to earth and helped answer all of the random questions we had. We would definitely recommend the course to a friend. If you are seriously considering opening a coffee shop, this will be the best investment you could make before getting started.

I've never made an espresso before and after the training, I feel like I have a better appreciation on all the little things good coffee shops do. The class is a nice mix of science and hands on training. Robert and Claire were wonderful teachers and they made the class easy to learn. Word of advice, don't drink any coffee before hand, there will be plenty for you there... and they are really tasty. So if you are looking to become a barista, or want to see what's it like to use those fancy espresso machines, or you just want to elevate your coffee skillz, go take this class. You won't be disappointed.
