We did a self guided painting this week. I have done a wine and canvas before where I am from. I like this concept vs the instructor lead class because we could choose a printed guide and follow it OR just do whatever you wanted. We were able to pump our own paint and choose the colors we wanted. I chose the dog because she looks like my dog and I followed the instructions and put my own little twist on it by referring to a photo of my dog. The woman in charge was very nice and helpful when needed. We had a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend them to others. Thank you! read more

Pinot's palette is a fun way to relax and test out your painting skills! You first book online an appointment for the date you want. Each day has a different painting that will be done, so you can choose a day with a painting you like! The experience is BYOB and you just bring yourself and everything else is supplied such as the canvas, brushes, and paint! There is a seating chart but they do place you next to your party to make the experience more enjoyable. There will be an instructor in each class that goes through each and every step to complete the painting. Although I'm not much of a painter, the instructor was very helpful in fixing anything I didn't like and answering any questions on steps I had missed. She made the experience very fun with her upbeat, funny personality. I also loved that she wasn't strict in what we were allowed to draw. We could add or omit any part of the painting we wanted! The only complaint I would have is that pricing. It is quite expensive ranging from $35-$45 usually. read more

I had a fun night painting here. But there are many things that could use improvement here. #1. Private parties should be done at separate times than class times. We had a very loud party going on during our class that made our night not so great. #2. Invest in stools that are more comfortable to sit on for the 3 hours that people will be using them. The stools here had no cushion or back rests. Not comfortable at all. #3. Turn on the AC! It was so hot in there we had to use paper plates to fan ourselves. #4. Get a mic that doesn't constantly make a pop sound loud enough to hurt your ears. And last but not least. Get an assistant for the art instructor that isn't afraid to help the colored people. I asked for help 3 times and the girl purposely ignored it. But the white lady next to me received help throughout the whole night. So tell me that isn't a racial thing. Other than that. It is such a fun place with trained staff but the heat in there made it unbearable. It made it difficult to enjoy. Turn the air on! Especially if you are encouraging wine drinking! So much fun but that made it not as much fun. Edit: I was contacted by the owner that explained they would be using a different room that had better air whenever possible and they are working to make changes. Still lots of fun. read more

One of the great things about painting here, is, you do not have to be an artist.Then, once you finish, you discover that..you are! The staff here are so supportive!. For $35 you get to paint a picture on canvas that a member of your group has pre-selected off the many dozens of art on the walls (none of them signed) and all the water you can drink. Being with friends all painting the same thing is nice. I will say that. You bring all your own wine , liquor and snacks and sit on the #1 Hardest Stool in America. I don't care what you weigh; you can't break this metal stool. You could melt them down and use them in the space station. They need to furnish soft, strong stools with backs on them. A young girl wearing a microphone shows you each step as it's needed (for instance, she'll say 'first take your yellow paint and cover your canvas with it). This "artist" oversees your work. Meaning, she walks past you (50 times) and IF you have a question she answers it. You get all the paint brought to you that you'll need (on a paper plate) and two brushes then you take your canvas home.These paintings from the wall are not something you could make a living off of selling. They look like what a junior high talent could have painted. They are not Van Gogh. I won't be going back but it was nice to be with my friends and acquaintances and the water wasn't bad. read more

I have been twice to paint at this location. It was a fun and relaxing way to spend an evening with friends. I highly recommend it! No, it isn't high quality art, but that is not the point. It's not too hard for beginners, but challenging enough for those that have some skills. Expressing my inner artist in this way is something I'll do again! read more
