There's plenty of parking and it's located in a business park. The instructors are easy to understand and teach to the test. But you still have to know what you're doing. The skills check off is hands on to assure that you do. Having already used CPR to save a life in Jax, I was just glad to have been taught by the best here! She was funny, cool and make sure this early, long course was entertaining enough for us to learn. I appreciate the time she took to engage our small group and asked questions throughout the course as to test our knowledge. She was helpful when we had questions as well. They speed things up and never waste any time. They do offer lunch as part of the ACLS class day and they have various times for their other classes. The quality of classroom instruction is very well worth the time and money--so much so that even though my former employer offered ACLS and BLS renewals through work for free and while on the clock, I would still self-pay and renew through ACT and attended on my own time because it's hassle-free and it saved me the time and frustration of sitting in front of a computer for hours at a time and suffering through the monotony. The in-person classes are dynamic and are designed in a way that respects our time as HCWs. There are plenty of morning and evening class time offerings and I've always been able to find a time that works with my schedule. Classroom training is clear, concise, and time efficient. I usually take the morning courses and will get my card the same day. I did take a night class recently and got my card the very next morning, shortly after opening. I recently learned that one of the instructors had bought/taken over the business and I think maybe that's why they're at this new location? I hope that ACT continues to thrive and offer their services for decades to come. I will continue to come here for my AHA recertifications and I recommend them to all my friends and local colleagues. TL;DR: 10/10 highly recommend renewing ACLS, BLS, and PALS through ACT. Very well worth the time and money!

After a few moments our instructor led us to the classroom . On the way there he kindly showed us where the restroom, water fountain, coffee machine were at . The building itself seems a bit outdated, but nothing that effected the quality of our course. The instructor was easy to follow and gave clear instructions . I felt like I was heard and gained what I needed to in this course. Overall, I would highly recommend this American Red Cross location .

HIGHLY DISGUSTED! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS "BUSINESS'…read more Registered online last Friday for the in-person class for my son and I- at the rate of $64.99 each. I had even spoken to the guy (before I paid and the day before) to make sure we would be go to go and he confirmed it was fine. The morning of- I received a text (less than an hour before it was supposed to start) saying it was canceled due to COVID!!! I was a bit upset because I talked to him the day before and all was well, but I tried to be understanding.. He then sent me a link to complete the online portion which wasn't correct--and then didn't respond to my texts until 11:46pm that night with the correct information. We completed the online portion and I sent confirmation to 213-394-0557 asking what the next steps were. ALL week he NEVER responded to my texts, but when I checked the online portal it said the in-person class was rescheduled to 6-27-2020 at 9:00am. I sent him another message on Friday to ask if class was still on, and he RESPONDED confirming everything was good to go. My son and I arrived 20 mins early and nobody was there. It was an empty parking lot!! I text and called him and never got a response back!!!!! This was complete bullshit and a waste of my time and money! Why would you do this to people???? It's completely unacceptable and completely ridiculous that you would put a paying customer through this!!!
