Great care and attention for my pets during boarding and grooming. The staff is very attentive and the environment is always very clean.

Just picked up our two little rescues after a two week stay at the Inn. We were nervous because this was their first big time away from home since adoption 2 years ago, but could not have asked for better care. The staff knew and loved our dogs, shared photos and videos they'd taken and could tell us about their behavior. Our dogs gave them kisses before they left (they are typically a little apprehensive). I used them over the Christmas holiday for an 11 day stay for my 3 small dogs. First of all, their rates can't be beat. Hands down the cheapest around for boarding long term but keep in mind it's not a doggy daycare situation. That can be good or bad depending on your outlook but for me, it made me feel more comfortable my 3 would be kept away from the other dogs since they're small and somewhat antisocial. I didn't have to worry about any potential accidents involving other dogs. The staff is friendly and thorough. I did call on Christmas Eve but I knew they were closed. I left a message to call or email me with an update and I didn't hear back for a few days until I called again. That's the only reason I wouldn't give 5 stars. I do understand the holidays make it insanely busy so that's likely nothing you'd worry about with a normal boarding situation as their communication otherwise has been very responsive! And when they did get in touch, they sent me 4 pictures of my babies! My oldest dog has to take daily meds which they administered without an issue. They also let me come in and tour the facility before I committed to boarding them and answered a boatload of questions. And upon pickup, they helped me transport my dogs and bed/food and everything to my car. I am overall very pleased and will use them again! read more

My wife and I have a 9 Months old Yorkie named Sammy. He is an amazing little pup. We needed a groomer. My second try was Cozy Quarters, we were very nervous about his treatment but as soon as we saw their place of business we became excited. It is clean and shockingly beautiful. We were treated by Samantha who took Sammy very lovingly. We could tell right away that she loved dogs. After a brief talk she took him into the parlor. When we picked Sammy up everything was perfect. The cut was perfect. Very clean, smelled very nice and we were greeted by another very nice young lady. I'll start by saying we've used Cozy Quarters many times over the past few years with no problems whatsoever, but, after this last stay I have to send up alarm bells to other pet parents out there. We checked our dogs into Cozy Quarters on November 21, 2018. On that date our dogs weights were: Barry - 22 pounds Lenny - 18 Pounds George - 21.5 pounds We went away and received no calls during our time away. We picked them up on December 3, 2018 and I immediately noticed they all looked really thin and their harnesses were so loose. I didn't really think too much about it at the time because I was just so happy to see them. As soon as I got them home, they all three immediately wanted food and scarfed it down. (normally they eat once a day). I left for work and came back that night and they ate a whole cup of food again. I could feel and see Barry's ribs as well as the other 3. I weighed Barry on our scale and he was down to 17 pounds! What in the living hell...How does a dog drop 22% of his body weight in just over a week!!! All the other dogs are noticeably emaciated as well. Now the food I sent with them was almost gone so I have no idea what in the world happened. But if the dogs weren't eating they never called or e-mailed the whole time we were away, but, they were clearly starving when we got them home yesterday. I'm very disappointed and worried about our pups after this stay. I'm very sad to have to report this review of Cozy Quarters because our dogs have always come home from there so happy. read more

The place is out of the way, and I had to call to get directions as gps was a little off. Once I got there I was greeted, and had all of my questions answered. They showed me where my dog would be kept. The place is clean, and my boy had a doggie door to go out and relieve himself whenever he needed to do so. Rates were good, and he was taken care of pretty well. My only concern was my dogs medication was short. My dog is on anti anxiety meds and there were a weeks worth of pills missing. Don't ever bring your pets here to board. We boarded our two indoor cats for 4 days about a month ago and we will never ever come here again. They don't clean their kennels and our cats got RINGWORM from this disgusting place. The kennel room was tiny, hard to maneuver in, and stank of cat pee. I left specific feeding instructions, which were ignored. The extra 2 days of food I gave in case of emergency was gone when I returned, and the staff was no help finding/remembering which toys/items were mine - all of it was mixed into someone else's stuff. They also gave my cats their own company treats and catnip without asking my permission, mentioning it only after we had paid. In terms of payment, we were quoted an incorrect price on the phone, and they wouldn't honor their mistake. Since they are cash only, we had to drive 15 minutes to the nearest ATM, and hurry back before they closed for the night. They are only open for pickup 2 hours at a time, and they stated that we would have to pay for an extra night if we didn't get back in time. Staff was ignorant, ditsy, and extremely unprofessional. We've used CQ multiple times and have never had any issues. It's a kennel and not a daycare type of place, so that may or may not be your thing. They are always friendly and outgoing. I am always allowed to get my dogs settled into their spot. We always have them groomed before pickup and they do a great job. My only complaint is a convenience issue more than anything. They only take cash. read more

We took our 2 dogs there for years when owner John was there. After he was no longer there it wasn't ran like it had been for years. He was always on the grounds but his wife took over and she was hardly around, had her niece running the place which she was young and inexperienced. Came to pick up dogs at the time we were told and we had to wait outside for 2 hours no one was at the house and finally her niece came and opened up so we could take our dogs home. Without John there the place went down hill we wouldnt take our dogs back. read more

I really would prefer not to use the star system as I haven't actually used the facility, but only went to scope it out. I did not see the dog quarters, as I was interested in only the cat quarters. The owner who met me there was very pleasant and seems like a genuinely nice person. However, upon entering the building, there is a very distinctive odor of black mold. On top of that, the cat kennel is not properly ventilated (the owner acknowledged that and mentioned that they are working on it). I was told that the litter boxes are cleaned daily, but the ammonia smell in the cat room was pretty strong. Hopefully they can fix things up and improve the environment there for the cats. read more

I had my 3 dogs, 2 huskies and a malamute, stay there for 6 months while my house was being built. I was always at ease knowing they were there. I used to visit the dogs with my wife and kids and the staff would go out of their way to accommodate us. They came home just as happy and healthy as when they went in. Now Cozy Quarters is the only place I will take them when we travel. It is like their second home! read more

I boarded my dog here last year and it was great! But honestly frustrating that on trying to board again, it is impossible for anyone to answer the phone or return a voice mail... Concerning that lack of being able to reach someone makes it impossible to check of your pet if you chose to board here. read more

I wanted to like this place. I brought my dog here last week for 6 days. She has been boarded before, but not here, this was her first time. I called a few days into our trip to make sure she was ok and the person who answered the one laughed at me for being worried. She said she was fine. The day before I was scheduled to pick her up (which was the day we flew back into town) I received a message saying that she hadn't eaten all week and had diarrhea all week. Why wouldn't they have mentioned this when I called a couple days before??? They also mentioned that they fed her some ground beef and rice (without asking me first, she eats grain free and rice is a grain). I was able to get there that night to pick her up. I was given the wrong leash and blanket, so here kennel had obviously been mixed up someone during the week. She was shaking, drank water like she hadn't had anything to drink all week, and was just overall sick and not herself for at least 4 or 5 days after coming home. What's worse is that I emailed the owner with my concerns a week ago (since he's never the one to answer the phone) and I haven't received a response back. Pretty disappointed to say the least. But my pup is feeling better, so that's what is most important. read more
